    mango & original milk tea
    Tally Y.

Sitting in the dining area upstairs, eating a bento box of delicious salt & pepper chicken, and drinking some of the best bubble tea I've ever had this is a Taiwanese oasis in the middle of Paris. I actually specifically searched Yelp for Taiwanese food as there isn't a very wide selection in London and my boyfriend has been missing the food from his home country. Extremely pleased I found this place and that we stopped here for lunch. I made him order in Mandarin though the menu is in both French and Chinese. You may be able to get by with English, I personally did not try. The bento boxes are definitely worth the cost and I recommend getting a bubble tea with it to round out the meal. The bubble tea is amazing! We tried the mango and original milk tea both were excellent. Very authentic, fresh, and delicious. Decent size with the right amount of ice and pearls. I was so hungry when we came in but in the end I almost couldn't finish my meal. They really don't skimp out on the chicken, the portions were large and there were so many. Plus lots of rice, small salad, kimchi, pickles (my favourite!!), and some mixed possibly stir-fryed vegetables. The chicken was super crispy and seasoned perfectly. I'm quite picky about the seasoning but this was absolutely perfect, very much like the flavour they use in Taiwan. Seriously, come hungry for this box. Overall, I love this place so much. I was extremely satisfied and happy with it in all regards. If you're looking for an authentic Taiwanese experience and food Le 37m2 has you covered. Enjoy!

    Bento bœuf mijoté! (~€10)

Taiwanese food that'll fill you up! I came here looking for a place to snag some bubble tea and saw their menu was decently priced and came in a combo so why not go here for some dinner! I got the bento bœuf mijoté (~€10) with cafe bubble tea (~€5,50) totaling €15,50. The beef was cooked to perfection. Each piece of the meat was easy to separate as they fell into tiny bite-sized pieces. It sits in sweet sauce and served with sticky white rice with sesame seeds on top. They tasted just like mom's home cooking! There are also 4 side dishes: leafy greens, bean sprouts, (radish?), vegetable mix with carrots, and a tiny tomato in the middle! I didn't quite finish the veggie mix, but the radish was decadent and so were the bean sprouts! The bubble tea has so many options I thought the questions would never end! They can come in so many different flavors, hot or cold, and two nice sizes. For €5,50 the bubble tea is kinda pricy for the size they come in, but they pack a good amount of tapioca in it. Speaking of which, tapioca is the default topping for the bubble tea unless you request something different! When eating at the restaurant, you order at the bottom floor and seat yourself upstairs in the little nook that is the size of someone's room. There's about 6 tables so there's not much room for a lot of guests. There are many utensils to choose from and there is a restroom upstairs as well! The food came very quick; not even 5 minutes after I ordered and it was really busy at the time so service was amazing! Overall a really good hole-in-the-wall for Taiwanese food and bubble tea! I'd highly recommend this place if you want a good dinner for there or even to go!

Poulet frit a la prune with passion fruit bubble tea

I came here because I'm a huge fan of their other location in Pigalle. I didn't realize that this one wasn't an actual restaurant though. Well ok, it's a restaurant but much more casual than the other. We made a reservation in advance and when we get there the woman greets us and tells us that they don't take reservations...well that's weird...because we made one 2 hours ago and you guys asked what time and for our phone number. Kinda weird but mostly funny. Don't be fooled by the entrance, there is more seating upstairs! (about 7 tables). and then 3 spots for casual counter seating downstairs. The menu is written on a chalk board with a small (but tasty) menu. Mainly fried chicken bites. My bf got the salt and pepper fried chicken and i got the prune fried chicken. The dishes look identical. (I thought they had gotten our order wrong at first). But mine was indeed a bit sweater than his. Both were very good. The meals come in bento boxes with three little side dishes (tofu, broccoli, and cabbage). Although small, each one was prepared with just the right amount of flavor. I was also a bit worried the bubble tea would be a bit off since the other 37m2 is so much "nicer," but the bubble tea was spot on! So refreshing and flavorful. Still my favorite bubble tea in all of Paris! I'd recommend this place if you're looking for some quick and tasty food/bubble tea and don't mind the casual setting. Happy noms!

Excellent choice of Taiwanese food and bubble tea.

Wow, this is truly authentic Taiwanese food and bubble tea. The bento is good. My recommendation goes to speculoos bubble tea and poulet frit à la prune (fried chicken with plum powder)!!! Try it!

Dear restaurateur friends, a word of advice: be as afraid of positive opinions as of very negative…read moreones. And stop running after the crazy rave. Having recently read about a restaurant at the discreet front of which I spent regularly, I thought I had to try. Result? Nothing more. So obviously, it's an "exotic" restaurant. It therefore benefits from a priori from some columnists who, between feeling of incompetence to evaluate a foreign cuisine, the well-thought of not being able to criticize everything that is foreigner, the hope of being the Michelin guide by discovering the improbable awesome canteen of street-food deserving three stars, you arrives to lay lines outrageously apologetic on a plate which, without being bad, is only the result of a normal and honest job. So it's the case of Zaoka, a nice 16-seat canteen that stunned one of my colleagues. Two menus at 19 and 22 euros. Three mini (but really mini!) starters: cups of purple cabbage Espelette pepper, a tartar of apples and beets and finally a shitake broth. It tastes but so small that it is more of an appetizer. We are amused by the carved fish at the bottom of a cup. We are waiting impatiently for the rest. The famous Taiwanese Gua Bao for which some would make you cross all Paris. A little lukewarm, no specific taste. Let's hope that the pork braised and cooked for several hours will excite us a little more. The only real worry is that with just one piece of meat, you barely have time to taste. Three small bites and then...leave. It remains the plaster of rice and lamb's lettuce to fill your stomach. All this tastes good and is well cooked and we could still say that we will not regret the trip too much. But the "specialty" of the chef, slices of beef, again cooked several hours in the stew, offers a result of great banality taste and a texture that can almost be described as failed. Meat a little dry despite hours of beating, it takes the cake! And the Tai-Pei Sunrise salad is nothing like a sunrise over the honeymoon bay. Dessert is the most interesting product technically but not very finished. We understand the desire to balance the acidity of citrus with an original tea in the blood orange flash, but the balance is not there. As for Tatin whipped cream and pepper, it's nice. So when I read lines like "melted pork belly crying", "best gua bao of the capital", "nugget" or "fantastic", when I come out I tell myself I smell a rat. So, dear restaurateurs friends, remember  that this type of articles, if they fill you briefly your establishment, also make a disappointment with the real customers, those who come back, those who make your base of business because they will become regulars. Those who will talk about you to their friends. But these customers, even if they basically do not "badly eaten", hate the disappointment. And as the raven, caught by beautiful words of fox, by slamming the door of your establishment, they will swear, but a little late, that one will not take them again more ... In conclusion, it's a nice neighborhood restaurant but do not cross especially Paris especially to restore you there. Bill of 140 euros for 4. 20% too expensive.

Excellent Taiwanese-French Fusion Restaurant. The people running the restaurant are so friendly…read more Tried the 3 course sampler meal. The starters, the main dish and dessert were all soooo good and very unique. Would definitely recommend this place.
