    Cajun Crawfish Shrimp Fried Rice
    Shai C.

i am in LOVEEEEEEE with the Cajun Fried Rice at this location! i stumbled upon this small little spot last year (2023) when i was craving seafood but also chinese food BUT I avoid anything with an egg and rice mixture, not settling for me. this place has just that! the normal shrimp fried rice with egg and the Cajun Fried Rice with no egg. i came here and the service was so humbling and warm. the woman at the front was very inviting and helpful. i went back recently with a friend who never tried this place and yes, i had to get my usual AND yes, i officially put my friend on to one of the best places to eat in Houston. thank you to everyone @ Le Seafood! this is officially my first year with you guys and I won't be looking back at any boring & regular shrimp fried rice places!

Food pretty terrible tbh. Even for the price the fish tasted frozen and bland and had no crispy crunch. Fries were pointless tbh. Just buy your own frozen food at the supermarket and do it at home. If you add salt, you already did better.

the pricing here is very reasonable. only like $12 for fried rice and fish & shrimp. it's not that good tho imo.

    Shrimp/crawfish etoufee too spicy. Inedible.

Yesterday ordered the etoufee with rice and the 2pc catfish with salad. The fish was ok fried hard but not enough seasoning. The etoufee was inedible absolutely too spicy. Its runny like a soup or gumbo. I still have the entire dish. When i called to point this out and ask why they don't post/ask for heat levels. I was told "no one else complains etoufee is too hot" . She tells me the next time i will know to ask for for not spicy. NO U JUST LOSY MY BUSINESS. PERIOD. 1st/last time there

This is a new restaurant/fish market that has recently opened on Antoine. It is in a low rent strip center. The interior is pretty basic with a small fish cooler for their fish market part and a counter to order from for the restaurant. Inside they have seating for approximately 20. The vast majority of the menu items are fried seafood. Last night I stopped by for dinner and ordered the #21 which is 3 fish and 6 medium size shrimp with fries combination dinner for $9.99. I also opted for a can of Diet Coke for $.75. The food came out about 15 minutes later in a styrofoam container. First of all, everything was hot and fresh. I rated the food as follows: fried fish was a 4. It was fried properly with a light non greasy taste. I thought it was very good. The shrimps had a semi crusty exterior that was good. I liked them and rated them as a 3.5. The fries were your basic frozen fries out of a bag. These always disappoint me as I wish restaurants would be more inventive with hand cut fries or double fried fries, etc. these were a 2 in my opinion. I didn't eat them all. The meal also came with a slice of white bread. They only had tartar sauce in small containers and no cocktail sauce. I therefore decided to use ketchup which I like. They had one ketchup container for the entire restaurant. Fortunately for me no one else was using it. While I was there I noticed an extremely friendly rapport by the people behind the counter with their customers myself included. I can tell they really appreciate their customers who are primarily from the surrounding neighborhood. Another note to tell you is that their prices are quite low. Most of the items are under $10. Food quantities are above average. In summary, I think the fish is really good, the shrimp are good and the fries lacking. This is more of a to go restaurant than an eat in due to the lack of amenities. If you live in the area this is a good place to come get some inexpensive, good food and take it home. It is not a destination restaurant for those of you who aren't in the area. By the way they stay open till 7 pm on week nights and 8 pm on Friday and Saturday.

The best etouffee I have ever eaten anywhere, and loaded with large shrimp and crawfish. I'll definitely be back.

It's close to Costco and H-Mart, and near H-Mart you'll also find Paris Baguette and Tous Les Jours. There's an 85°C nearby as well and with Costco right next door, you could easily spend half a day hopping between all these places. On weekends, traffic can be pretty crazy and parking isn't easy since everyone shops then. However, if you come on a weekday especially outside of lunchtime--it's much easier to find a parking spot. Inside 99 Ranch, there's a food court with options like San dong noodles, dim sum, stir-fry dishes, and Chinese barbecue. On the other side of the plaza, there are also several restaurants, including Korean spots and Vietnamese crawfish places. As for the store itself, there are always clearance items near the Kung Fu Tea area, which we usually check out before heading in to shop for fruits, produce, vegetables--pretty much everything. I found my favorite Japanese soy milk but this was banana flavored. Way too sweet for me and it was $4/carton. It's a large store and they offer a loyalty program. If it's your first time visiting 99 Ranch, you could easily spend an hour just roaming the aisles. There's so much to see--it almost feels like a little field trip every time we go.

Then he proceeded to help every other customer who walked up after me. When I finally asked what was going on, he suddenly told me I needed to get a number--something that was never mentioned when I first arrived. This was rude, dismissive, and extremely unprofessional. There was zero communication, zero courtesy, and no accountability. Watching someone intentionally skip you after you've been standing there waiting is beyond frustrating and disrespectful. Customer service like this is unacceptable. If you don't want to help customers, you shouldn't be working in a customer-facing role. Management seriously needs to address this behavior because it reflects terribly on the business. I will not be returning, and I would not recommend this place to anyone unless they enjoy being ignored and treated like they don't matter. Completely unprofessional and unacceptable. Ended up going to H-Mart down the street. Much more professional.
