Highly recommend the artichokes. They were incredible!! Also highly recommend Adrian as a server. He went above and beyond, hand writing on a menu everything that was celiac safe, could be made safe, and should be avoided. I have never in my life had a server perform such an act of kindness.

Really nice location at Hudson yards, this restaurant is part of what looks like a Spanish market place. The restaurant itself is pretty fancy but comfortable. The service is excellent. We just had the grilled octopus with potatoes, and sea bass fillet, we shared both, with left overs. The sangria was great, tasty and strong. We are about to have Spanish cake and cheese cake, will update on that in the future.

We ate early dinner at this wonderful Spain restaurant, we ordered aged Rib Eye Steak which was excellent came with 3 delicious side dishes Fir a dessert, ordered a famous Basque cheese cake, it was so delicious. Our sever, Paola was cordial and professional, thank you for making our daughter's birthday dinner a memorable one, I highly recommend this restaurant.

Conchinillo and paella

The conchinillo's meat was very tender and the skin was crunchy! It's good for sharing but everything is overpriced.

We came here for the cuchinillo - that is the entire 12-1/2 lb Spanish style roast pig. You have to reserve it and ask it in advance. It is a good meal in itself which includes the entire pig plus a nice salad, roasted red piquillo pepper cooked in Spanish style (sweet not hot), very good fluffy smooth mashed potato with olive oil on top. 1 pig feeds up to 8 people max but order maybe 1-2 appetizers to share for the table. No need for appetizer if you are 6. The above comes with the order of the whole roast pig except the omelette and asparagus. The roast pig had some crispy skin but we expected crispy skin all over like the one we order in Madrid and Segovia. So this was only 60% crispy. But the pork is juicy inside. Their potato omelette was very good and so was the white asparagus. But we came here for the roast pig.

So, what you heard is true- it's expensive- and portions are small. But It is delicious!! Sides are a shareable size. The branzino is the most reasonable sized main dish and is also very tasty. I've been here several times but haven't taken much photos but here are two dishes I had last time I went. This rating is for the service and the taste of the food. They can do better on the price/portion or else it would be 5. There are other restaurants very close by, with high quality food, in the same price range that have better portions, in addition you can eat in the Mercados tapas bar right next to it, and have almost the exact same food tapas style at a much more affordable price.

The food was good although it took way too long (over an hour of waiting). Additionally, the service was extremely poor.

I've enjoyed many things here but love the charcuterie board and typically go for a customized choice. Love the truffle cheese, manchego and prosciutto. The burger sliders are fun also. The restrooms were allocated in the joining hotel so it's a bit of a walk. We were not too hungry just looking for a quick snack so we settled on Brussels, top sirloin and calamari to share. The Brussel sprouts were crispy with a tangy dressing topped with dried cranberries and raisins. This dish had a nice balance. There were two-three fairly larger hunkers which we had to cut up but otherwise flavor was nice. Next came the top sirloin cooked to medium with a bed of roasted carrot purée and a salsa sauce. The sirloin was seasoned nicely and cooked to perfection- very tender! By far my favorite dish! The calamari was a bit of a disappointment. It was fried too crispy and lost the calamari taste. We let the server know and he very kindly brought out a churro to apologize- very kind of them! Overall I had a great experience here! The food was great, service was fantastic!

Seating available at the bar as well. A cockroach was spotted outside the bathroom area!! Service (3/5): The owner was very friendly but not helpful when asked what the different red wines were and instead insisted on the most expensive one. I would suggest other patrons do a little research beforehand if you are unfamiliar with Italian wines. Wait staff did not speak English so we had to wait for the owner to get off his phone call, as he was the only one getting orders and closing bills. Expect the experience to take at least an hour 30 min if you are going before the show. Food (2/5): We came out with an expensive bill (1 $17 bottle of wine, 2 apps, 3 entrees for 4 pp @ $270) for the portion and taste. Warm table bread with olive oil - this was great Caesar Salad (5/5): The salad was fresh and tasted great. It was large enough to share with 4 of us. Special menu - Octopus (3/5) $27ish: One singular tiny octopus leg for almost $30. Parts of the octopus was overcooked, but it did have a lovely taste to it. Served with a butter knife which made it difficult to cut. Special menu - 47oz Steak (2/5) $45ish: Well seasoned. The meat was incredibly tough. Surprised to see how small the dish turned out to be. It was nice that it came pre-sliced. Branzino (3/5) $44: A lackluster filet fish with little flavor on an even smaller portioned dish. This was the biggest disappoint of the entrees Stracotto alla Toscana (5/5) ($45): This was by far the best dish of the night. The beef was super tender and had sizable portion and stewed in a sauce that soaked up all the flavor. The menu mentioned carrots and none were included...

It feels warm, intimate, almost like you've stepped into someone's beautifully designed home rather than a restaurant. At some point you find yourself under the retractable roof, looking up at the stars in the middle of New York, which is kind of wild in the best way. The food was honestly next level. You can tell there's a real San Sebastián influence behind it. Everything felt precise but still full of flavor and personality. Every dish that came out just kept building on the last. The presentation was beautiful without trying too hard, and the flavors were the kind that make you pause for a second after a bite. Service was exactly what you want it to be. Super attentive, really knowledgeable, but still relaxed. Nothing felt forced or overdone. I also have to mention the cocktails because they deserve it. Whoever is behind the bar knows what they're doing. I had the "Comandante on Vacation" and it was one of those drinks you immediately want another of before you're even halfway through. What I didn't expect was how the energy evolves during the night. There's a DJ, but it's not in your face. It just slowly lifts the whole atmosphere and suddenly dinner turns into something a bit more alive without losing that elevated feel. It's just one of those places where everything works. The setting, the food, the service, the vibe all come together in a way that feels effortless. Definitely one of the more memorable dinners I've had in a while.
