He showed up on time, was professional, and quickly figured out what the issue was. What I appreciated most was that he explained everything in a way that actually made sense and didn't try to upsell anything unnecessary. You can tell he knows what he's doing. The repair was done efficiently and my refrigerator has been working perfectly ever since. It's not easy finding reliable service like this, so I definitely recommend All Service Brands LLC especially if you can get Steve. I'll absolutely be using them again if I need service in the future.

Absolutely horrible. We were referred to him via Home Shield. He came to our house 7 times (yes,…read more7 different times) to fix our ice maker and still told Home Shield that we need a second opinion. The first time, he said it was the compressor. The second time he brought a new ice maker. The third time, he said it was the wrong ice maker. At one point, he had the nerve to tell us to defrost our entire refrigerator and freezer for 48 hours, which we declined. He was going to do it manually but then said it wasn't even that. And after all of that, he told us to our face that it could not be repaired and would need to be replaced but then turned around and told Home Shield to send someone else. What an unethical clown. Not to mention, he washed his dirty hands in our kitchen sink without asking, dried his hands on a paper towel and left it on the counter. GROSS!! BUYER BEWARE!!!!

Coldzone came out & spent less than 20-minutes 'fixing it'! The repairperson told me it would take 24-hours for ice to be made. After 24-hours... nothing! After 48-hours... nothing! For the next two weeks, SHW gave me the runaround. They initially gave Coldzone the go-ahead to order & install a new ice maker. When Coldzone got the new ice maker SHW then denied the ice maker was covered by my top-of-the-line coverage claiming my ice maker was an after-market addition. Even after I sent them the section in my policy that expressly says they cover ice makers and pictures of the ice maker & and door dispenser for ice & ice water they denied it's! That's when I sent complaints against SHW to the State & Federal Consumer Affairs Departments & the Better Business Bureau! ENTER BIG AL'S APPLIANCE REPAIR. On December 30th I went to 'Angi's' App. looking for a local company to fix my ice maker. Immediately I was given the name of 4 local companies that repaired ice makers. Big Al's Appliance Repair had the greatest number of 5-star ratings so I called them. I was expecting them to tell me someone would be out sometime after New Years. Instead, I was told Al would stop by between 4 & 6 pm that afternoon... and he did. Al was at my front door at 5:35 pm on the 30th with his tool cart. He came in, checked out my ice maker and showed me the problem... I needed a new unit. The diagnostic fee he charged was waived because I told him to go ahead & order a new one. I expected him to tell me he would return sometime after the 1st of the year and again I was wrong. He told me he would be able to install a new ice maker the very next day. At approximately 12:15 pm he was at my front door with his tool cart and my new ice maker. By 12:50 he had replaced my ice maker & it was making ice. Once again he again explained & showed me what he had to do to install the new ice maker and get it working! The total cost was very reasonable and Al, unlike the Coldzone Repairman, left the work area spotless. I already told Big Al he was now my go-to appliance repairman and will refer any & all friends & relatives who need appliances repaired to Big Al's Appliance Repair.

I recommend Go Electric hands down, for service, professionalism and a fair price for the value received.

Neighbors recommended Ultimate, it was in our BBB book as a 5 yr. recommended business. I checked the 5 five star Yelp, google, Angi and Next Door reviews, I called at 10 AM and RJ arrived at 6 PM. RJ was personable, professional and very neat. I was happy he showed up when he said he would and solved the issue. He assessed our appliance and diagnosed a faulty compressor. Repairs were 1/3 of the price of a new refrigerator, we all felt it was a worthwhile repair. On line, I checked Home Depot and a local appliance shop, his pricing was accurate. The refrigerator is now 2x the price we paid 4 yrs. ago. When scheduling the appointment, I received a confirmation email. I was asked to text a picture of the model & serial number from the appliance in advance. RJ came with all the parts & equipment needed to do the repair. He spent 2 1/2 hours replacing , soldering & cleaning out the lines. He accepted credit cards & we received an email receipt. RJ left his card & told us not to fill the frig for 24 hours. RJ followed up with us the following day. He believes the service contract companies aren't worthwhile as they don't hire quality technicians. As wonderful as RJ & Ultimate were, I hope I won't see them for many more years!

I was told that, in order to replace the system, the toilet would need to be dismounted and that the cost would be $495. Instead, I was offered the option of buying a new toilet through them for $655 plus tax. I was also told that if I paid by credit or debit card, there would be an additional percentage charged for using the card. The pricing and recommendation did not seem reasonable to me, so I decided not to proceed. I was still charged $50 for the service visit. I then contacted another plumber. They came to my home, replaced the flush system, completed the job in approximately 30 minutes, and charged me only $100. Based on my experience, I recommend getting a second opinion and comparing prices before agreeing to any plumbing work. In my case, the repair was much simpler and less expensive than I was originally told. I am sharing this review so other homeowners can ask questions, get a detailed estimate, and consider another opinion before making a decision.

Unfortunately, this particular part was no longer being manufactured and I could also not locate a replacement anywhere (I looked long and hard as the alternative was replacing an expensive unit). I was fortunate to find Board Busterz through a Google Search and I spoke with Tony about having him troubleshoot and hopefully repair the board. He came through in a big way, identifying/replacing a couple of defective parts and sending me the board back (less than a week from shipping it out to receiving it back in the mail). I then called the local service company to have the board re-installed in the wine fridge and everything was back to normal (no more error codes)! Needless to say, I was extremely happy with the end result but also with the way Tony handled the process (friendly, professional and reasonable).
