I had called about an issue I was having from when the house was built, our set up is abit different. My dryer vent leads out to the roof and the duct was smaller than the actual vent opening. This allowed the lint to fall back into the attic creating a huge mess. I was looking up some recommendations on a local forum and Ted's name constantly came up so I decided to give him a call. He scheduled to come out immediately and told me what needed to be done. What I really appreciate is that he's a straight shooter and doesn't up sale you. He quickly corrected the issue at hand and cleaned out the duct. He also even replaced my shoddy connection I had made from the dryer to the wall when I had replaced the dryer myself, with a cleaner less messy set up. 6 months later I had a concern which I was unsure about so I called Ted. With no hesitation, he was more than happy to schedule to come check it out. It turned out to be nothing but it's comforting to know he stands by his work and certainly proud of it. STAY AWAY.... worst service and experience. Ted came out on a sunny day, cleaned inside the dryer but said he couldn't go on the roof and would return the next day. He was paid in full and never returned to do the most important part of cleaning the vent, which was the outside part. Then he lied and told me a date he came and no sight of Ted after checking cameras. I tried to work through this with him professionally but he is just not an upstanding businessman. Ted was prompt on arrival, thoroughly checked our misshapen venting. Previous owner installed 4- 90 degree angles, creating blockage to air flow = fire hazard. Will return to re-plumb the vent piping. Previous vent cleaning service were oblivious to this problem. read more
