Super easy to book, and get my insurance claim accepted. Only downside is there is no waiting room and replacements takes hours. No shuttle either. Safelite replaces my windshield 3 years ago. Took 4 appointments for them to finally get a…read morewindshield that wasn't damaged in transport. So a month of my time. I finally demand that they put in an OEM windshield. ( I later find out that they try to use only their own glass, that they make instead of OEM) 3 years later, my BCM module and Harness on my truck goes bad from water corrosion. Which is determined to be from a bad windshield seal. Over $4000 later after having my BCM module and Harness replaced, which caused me to be stranded out of state for a month, I know have to have the windshield replaced again, so that I don't have to deal with another BCM module going bad from water damage. If you have a choice of using Safelite or having your genitals worked over with steel wool full of broken glass.....I suggest you use the second, less painful option.

Here's a doozy.. Took our newer Ford Van in for undercoating. Long story short, our van was held up…read morefor over a week, and now WE'RE forced to install the under-floorpan insulation OURSELVES. Why? Apparently they had to remove some panels under our van to coat the frame well. OK. But the kid who removed the panels left early, apparently he never documented how these FACTORY STOCK insulation panels mount. So NO-ONE at the shop could figure out how they attach... Our van was on hold for 3 more days until the kid came back to work.. guess what! He doesn't remember either!!! Auto-One did reach out to the local ford dealer for advice. But suffice to say, that didn't help. They literally told us good luck, for us to install them, and knocked a measly $50 off the bill. WTF!? So now we're crawling underneath the van to figure out this puzzle... What kind of shop removes something and cannot figure out how to put it back together!? And then says TOO BAD! And makes the customer do it??? Unbelievable, we can't stop talking about this!!
