I arrived at this LBC branch at 1pm today, and as soon as the counter lady saw me carrying bags of stuff to ship, the first thing she told me was that they do not provide box, and I need to have a box of my own. I was like - what??? Since when did an LBC branch do not have box? Am I in another world or what?? Everywhere I have gone in the US, LBC has boxes - in new York in Texas, in florida, in California, in new jersey, etc. So I asked her why is that. The lady just said that it has always been that way since she worked at that place - not really a helpful answer. I was still in awe and could not believe what I was hearing. And then she went on to say that everyone knows it, that they do not have boxes. I told her that she cannot just make that assumption that "everyone already knows" they do not have boxes because people can come from different parts and not know it. I, for example, with a return address of New York, do not know that. I was just staying in a hotel 1 hour away from this LBC branch, and just needed to lighten my luggage as I travel so I need LBC's help to ship some of my items. Still, she remained unfriendly, almost raising her voice on me, and I was feeling like she think I am stupid and a nuisance to her day. She arrogantly told me to go to a nearby Home Depot 10 minutes away from the LBC place. I asked what size of box should I buy, because all these times that I have been sending stuff from the US, LBC has standard size of boxes. She said I can use any box and they will charge me by weight and dimension. I was really disappointed - after driving for 1 hour only to be told that I still need to find my own box! Then, as I was sighing from disappointment for a few minutes, a quiet older man sitting behind this unfriendly front desk woman stepped in. He started looking for used boxes at the back of their office and found a reasonably good size of boxes and offered them to me. One was big, and another one smaller. I tried my best to fit in there everything I needed to ship in the big box, and thankfully, they all fit except for a pair of shoe, which I am willing to bring back with me. The man really solved my problem and I expressed my gratitude to him so many times as he weighed my box and finalized my box labels. While the helpful man was weighing my box and creating my label, a younger lady came in to LBC carrying stuff that she said she wants to send her father in the Philippines. Once again, the unfriendly front lady told her that they do not provide boxes. So, the poor young lady was feeling bad just like I was. I was still holding on to the small box that the man gave me which I did not need anymore. So I gave that to the young lady that needed a box to put her stuff for her father. And she was very grateful. I asked the young lady if she is from around there. She said yes, and that it was her second time to come to LBC. I was controlling myself from telling this to the unhelpful front lady of LBC - "I thought everyone already knows that you don't have boxes? Duh." Clearly she was wrong with her assumption. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, this is what you can expect when you come to this place. You could end up being like me and the young lady that came after me. I think that this LBC MUST MAKE SURE that their website or the Google info about them will contain this clause : "THIS LBC BRANCH DOES NOT PROVIDE BOXES. PLS MAKE SURE THAT YOUR ITEMS ARE CONTAINED IN YOUR OWN BOX BEFORE COMING TO THIS BRANCH". Now, I hope and pray to God that this review will not cause any delay on the shipment of my box. I am actually worried of delays based on what I have read here in Yelp. read more

They used to be good but now terrible. They don't care about professionalism or customer service. 1. They do not answer the phone. 2. When you go there in person to schedule, you will wait in line a long time. 3. They will randomly cancel pick up appointments without telling you. 4. If you know they are coming sometime during the day, so you stay home and wait, they sometimes arrive and knock on the door as quiet as a mouse - when you don't hear them they quickly leave. JUST IMAGINE how good business would be if all of the customer reviews were good; if people felt respected and valued and promoted your service. Instead you are comfortable with terrible service to your customers. So sad. read more

I'm not sure which place is at fault but we sent our box to the Philippines and half the stuff was missing when our family got the box.

Package was received on time however along the journey someone other than the recipient had access to the box and helped themselves to the contents. The box left here fully filled but when received it was about 1/2 full. A packing list was placed inside the box as well as pictures of the contents but were removed route. This not the first time to use LBC with the same results, stolen items. The tamper proof tape they use provides a false sense of security. With a limit on the insurance and shipping cost it is hardly worth filing a claim. Would not recommend using LBC. Unfortunately they are the only shipper in the area. read more

Good people work here- the LBC staff are very polite and professional. Have been doing business for 20+ years. The sad part is they have a nasty landlord next door that appear racist- some plumbing business- very nasty to the LBC staff and to the LBC customers- they don't harass the other business except to coerce them to harass LBC staff & customers. Unfair. I have been waiting since 12 noon at the parking lot since they turned me down they said they are having lunch until 1 pm. There are some people waiting at the parking lot. 40 mins into the waiting they allowed someone to get their box transaction. It's very upsetting and unfair. I confronted the white guy who works there. He doesn't have an answer to me except, "I dont know why they let them do that." Surely those people probably gave big tips. Awful very dissapointing service. We scheduled pick up last April 5, 2023 but no show no nothing. We went to their office they said they didnt see my name on the list of schedules. They confirmed another pickup time but turned out to be nothing. 3x we have scheduled pick up but it all turned to nothing. Our box was delayed for a month. They wasted our time and hopes waiting for them to come. Disgusting and unacceptable they need change in the system for real. May this serve as a wake up call to spark a change. read more

Very poor in every aspect of conducting a business. Zero customer service! My boxes (2) were picked up April 22, 2024 and July was the estimated time of delivery to the Philippines (Cavite to be exact). Come July, I called and was told there was a delay and I have to check again in August. August, September came, no update whatsoever. October, someone from their Philippine office told me over the phone that my boxes were lost, no details and that LBC will give me compensation and that I will receive an email to process. It is November now and I have never receive any email or phone call from the LBC employee. What kind of company is this! This is so disappointing and frustrating. I am tired. My relatives back home are waiting for the boxes as well. The contents of those 2 boxes are very important, my family in P.I. are all anticipating. Are my boxes really lost? If they are, please do the proper compensation and do not delay. PLEASE LBC, treat all your CUSTOMER with respect and dignity! read more

So I originally booked mine on the 2 October for a picked up. Only to find out out THEY CHANGED IT WITHOUT MY KNOWING. No emails, no phone calls, nothing! Their system allowed me to book for that specific date however their shop only pick up boxes at my location on certain dates. LBC, you need to change your booking appointment system to give us customers clarity and set our expectations right! and provide notification if changes have been made. For future customers, please be wary about this dilemma i had to go through . Not coming back for this service. read more

Worst service I have ever encountered. Initial pick up was scheduled for 7/19/22, which I confirmed the morning of. Customer service was unable to provide a timeline, therefore I waited the entire day, with no correspondence. We received a phone call stating the driver was lost and our pick up would be postponed until 7/26/22. Once again called the morning of 7/26/22 to confirm and ensure that our address and contact phone number was correct, only to result in a no call no show. Here I am writing this review on 8/2/22 at 8:30 PM PST, when once again promised a pick up, again a no call no show. Customer service goes directly to the Philippines, they are courteous in the lies they tell you. Don't be fooled by customer service as they have no control of their couriers, they cannot contact them by phone themselves. This company will be referred to the BBB. read more
