They distill their own liquors and give you the history on what they make and when and how that specific liquor was created. It was a great way to have a couple drinks and learn a bit in the process. I would recommend to anyone for an event or just a quick stop to try some local distilled liquor. All the guys had a blast. ( this spiked root beer is so good.) They sell all kinds of Merch along with nonalcoholic drinks too. Outside was a local artist playing guitar and singing. While I was here I did tasting, 6 for $8. There was many to choose from and spiked Miner's Root Beer which I took home. I tried their Apple Pie Shine , Sweet Tea Shine, Blueberry Shine, Lemon Shine, and Peach Shine, Blackberry Bramble Liquor.. They were all very good. My boyfriend chose for his 6 tastings Noble Bourbon, Tapped ( Maple) Whiskey, Blackberry Bramble liquor, Peach Shine, Blueberry Shine, Root Beer Shine. The staff was great! Very friendly and accommodating. I really enjoyed my time here. I went home with many different bottles of spirits. I chose their Blueberry Shine and a bottle of their Bourbon along with their spiked Miner's Root Beer! The Root Beer is a must. If in town stop by and try their tasting menu. Yesterday, we made a road trip and purchased over $350 of product on my daughters' credit card but were treated with indifference. We carried bottles to the bar counter and felt we were in the way. We tried to purchase t-shirts which were virtually out-of-stock. Overall, we felt that the sale did not matter. The place was so nice even in winter and you could really see how great it is in nicer weather. It's really cute inside and you can see the distillery through windows, they have a nice merch section, and a big wedding tent set up, with its own bar and a window for the food truck. The very friendly Taylor was more than helpful and made various suggestions as to what to try. She made the Smoked Old Fashioned with ease (see my videos!) and my friends said they were excellent. You also get to keep the glasses they come in which have engraving on them. I went with the try six and they had seven to try so I gave up the gin. Tried a vodka, rum, two whiskey, and two honey liquors. Half ounce pours each. Realized I'm just not a whiskey guy but one was super smooth. I did like the honey ones, though. After my set of six, I ended up getting a vodka mixed drink and also got a four-pack of of a vodka canned cocktail which is new for them this year, and they decided to go non-carbonated. I would have preferred it to be carbonated but you can just add seltzer. The place seats a couple dozen and they are included on a lot of bus/trolley tours (a lot of bridesmaids parties) so at times it can get loud and busy. If you are under the influence you will not be served. They have t-shirts, hoodies, glassware, and even sell some pieces of the barrels so you can make your own smoked drinks. I ended up spending about $50 for my tasting flight, cocktail, and a t-shirt. I wished they were allowed to sell some small bite foods. It would make this place even better.
