I know another person that purchased a car from here and just like the incident with me, his car, warranty and the bank lender, all three were absolute garbage. He is also very petty, look at all the responses on his google page as well, he never seems to take accountability and even here on Yelp, make sure to see under "Not recommended reviews" you will see real reviews from real people. I'm at a loss for words.... It's 2020 and there's still racial profiling going on and in your dealership! My dad and brother went in today to see what could've been a potential pick up truck for their business. But I can assure you they won't be going back after the way they were treated. I understand that there are question that get asked during the visit if financing is something that they are interested in but to assume my dad's legal status just based on how he looks is not right. Yes, his English isn't the greatest but that gives you absolutely no right to assume anything. Rented a U-Haul from here to move apartments and was very unimpressed with the experience. For starters, the parking lot was not well taken care of and I nearly slipped on ice multiple times. I used the app and it worked fine. However, my rental was missing the moving blankets I had paid for. Since no one was onsite I had to do without. Once I got in the truck, I realized the gas gauge was only 1/8 full. So right away I had to take time out of my move to fill up the truck. Finally, the cabin of the truck leaked water on our passenger for the entire ride. Overall, it was not a good experience and I would not recommend this location for a U-Haul rental. read more

Called a few days ahead to check out a vehicle. Was told to come by Saturday. Drove an hour away just to see the car for them to say they sold the vehicle. A phone call to let me know would have sufficed. Or to be advised to call before I drive a whole hour plus, would have been nice. I was NOT advised to call ahead. I was NOT advised to put down a "security deposit" for a vehicle I am unsure if I even want to purchase. Working at dealership myself, I know exactly how customers are supposed to be handled. We bought a 2011 Car with high miles from LazyChimp, and what sold me was the customer service provided by the GM, TK. I typically over-research our cars before purchase, and therefore drove probably 10 cars of the same make/model, and this one was in the best shape (body and mechanically). One differentiation was LazyChimp invites you - actually encourages you - to have your own mechanic look at the car before purchase. Other bigger dealerships may allow you to, but don't encourage it. Our timeline went like this: The first time we drove the car, the radio didn't work because they had disconnected the battery for maintenance, the A/C wasn't working, and the passenger door was making an odd sound. I shared that after the test drive, and got an email the next day that all three items were fixed. That was impressive - 24 hours later our items were addressed. We drove it again a few days later to confirm the issues were resolved. We also took it to our mechanic a few days later, who confirmed the car was in good shape, and gave me a list of things that were likely to "go" next. Among those were the brake calipers. We purchased the car after attempting to negotiate. I typically negotiate, but that is their business model and I did think the price was fair as it had come down over the previous week. After a few days, the A/C stopped working again, and one of the back brakes went out. TK owned the AC issue and fixed (and I know it wasn't cheap). I fixed the brakes because that was on me and my mechanic (that wasn't cheap either but remember, my mechanic highlighted that as one thing that likely would need to be replaced next - just unfortunate timing for me). I think the thing that stood out to me is the GM is an entrepreneur trying to create a different experience for car buyers. He can't control how a 9-year old car will perform after purchase, even after my mechanic checked it out, but he did go out of his way to make sure the things that he was accountable for were fixed when I ran into issues after purchase. I did not get the lowest price possible, but I did get a good value on a solid car, with no issues since then. I would recommend LazyChimp and would buy another car from them. He showed integrity, as I believe if I bought the same car from a dealership, they likely would have told me to go pound sand after the purchase. read more
