We made a chicken, onion, egg, and potato starter dish, which had a wonderful taste and a great set of textures. For the main dish,​ we had cod, with lettuce, potatoes, and bechamel. Also a very tasty meal. For the final course, we had an egg yolk, sugar cake soaked in a caramel / brandy sauce. It was sweet but very tasty. Overall an 3.5-hour​ fantastic culinary journey into Portuguese​ cooking. We had a wonderful time.

My daughter-in-law was so excited because she absolutely loves to bake. It was very easy booking online via their website and the class was 40.65 euros each. Add taxes and fees for a total of 209.76 euros. I printed out tickets and added them to my Apple wallet as well. On July 8, 2024 my husband, son, daughter-in law and myself just walked there from the Turim Boulevard Hotel where we were staying. There was a little uphill walking, but is wasn't bad. Filippa greeted us when we walked in and she was our baking instructor for the class. There was only one other guy in the class from Austria and he was very nice. Filippa had the table set up with water and orange juice. She handed all of us aprons and started the class. It was totally hands on and we could all participate in making the pasteis de natas. At the end we had so many of them to indulge in. I only ate two, but they were so good. Before we finished we all scanned the QR code for the recipe. I would highly recommend taking the course.

Figuring out the streets to get here was a little bit confusing, and there was a section of construction that threw us off. They so kindly waited for our arrival while we were about 10 minutes late.

It was so cool that we also got to meet people from various parts of the world; majority of our group was from Germany and there was another couple from France too! Overall, the class was easy to keep up with! There was someone who would come around after each step to help with clean up and removing items that you no longer needed. Most of the ingredients were already portioned and prepped. We then got to sit together to eat and drink at the end! We then went to the market and picked out fresh ingredients for our cooking class. It was interesting to see the different vendors and be able to pick out the ingredients. Luisa also customized the dishes we cook based on our preferences. Luisa's kitchen was beautiful yet also cozy - you feel as though you walked into a friend's home kitchen. We cooked 4 different dishes (baked snapper, bread pie, tomato soup, tea apple dessert). All of them were delicious and it was great to cook and share a meal with new friends. Ultimate hygge vibes. Highly recommend this cooking class if you are in Lisbon!

We visited two beautiful vineyards/wineries with tastings of a nice variety of red and white (and one "green"!) wines. Our guides were knowledgeable and friendly. We also stopped into Óbidos for a little stroll and lunch. He bought us some traditional chorizo bread on a little whim. Lunch had a nice atmosphere and good service, but the prices were drastically higher than other places we ate on our trip, and the food was a bit plain. This was only a small blemish on an otherwise outstanding day. We would gladly rebook something with Armando on a return visit!
