The flight. So amazing. A must try! March 2018.

Lazy Circles Brewery Love this new little watering hole. If you have locally made craft beer on the mind, look no further. I recommend this spot to gather 'round with friends and family to share stories, play games, or just to pass the time together. They should have a sign: "Great beer made here" -because they totally do. This past weekend we paid a visit to Norman to visit with some friends. The weather was warm and sunny. We wanted a comfortable and welcoming place to hang out for a bit and stumbled upon this little spot. Gather a group of beer drinkers together and you will rarely find a group of totally like-minded hopheads. We all have our personal hop-o-meters set to various places on the dial. Some of us love deep, dank, hopalicious DIPA brews while others love the fresh & light coriander flavor and crispness of a Belgian wit, and even others who find zen in the creamy foam and smooth body of a porter. Needless to say, we all loved our very different, yet equally delicious, brewskies. You better believe I'll be back for more and my Norman friends are the "we'll be there in 15 type." So I'm pretty sure we'll all be back soon. I'd recommend the flight as a great option to get a sample of their offerings. It's a great deal and you get to try 4 beers, or find a buddy because it's certainly shareable. While they have you covered in the draft beer department, food prepared in the kitchen, on the other hand, isn't an offering, so prepare other eating arrangements, or give them a call to see if there's a visiting food truck. They do have some light snacks, for purchase, if you want something small. On a nice day there's wood picnic tables out front, AKA: fantastic people watching perches. There's ample seating indoors, too. They have space for small or large groups. They have great merch if you are looking for gift ideas: glasses, growlers, tees and more. All their prices are very fare. Also, you can bring a growler for a fill 'er up, if that's your jam. The staff behind the counter were warm and welcoming, the chairs were comfy (not to be overlooked) and the drinks were tasty. They do have at least one TV to catch the game, but it's not an overly TV oriented kinda space-it's more people centric. Overall, we really enjoyed our time here and hope to be back again soon. Cheers!

My colleagues and I came to Lazy Circles on a Thursday for their Lazy Runners Brew Crew hosted by OkRunner. Run 3 miles for a free beer? Say no more! I ended up having two beers, the Dirtybird Red Ale and the Station 1 IPA. Both were great, and the staff was super friendly and welcoming. On the night that we visited, there was even live music! I'm not a local, but if I ever find myself back in Norman, I'll be sure to visit.

Friday evening and our 1st time in OKC. Our Airbnb was just a few minutes from the Lazy Circles so we already knew we'd end up here sometime. Chill spot with great craft beer selections. Flights with friends was a great way to start off our weekend.

What a great, unique brewing place in Norman! The decor is awesome. The selection of craft beers is great. Certainly unique flavors. My husband enjoyed two beers tonight. One was an IPA and the other was today's randall, Brown with Plums & cinnamon. I actually enjoyed the flavors of today's Randall. The atmosphere was great. Definitely a good place to hang out. Since it was late November they were a little more sealed up. But, I have the feeling this is a great place to hang out with friends in the Spring and Summer. There was a section with board games... what an awesome idea. Come grab a drink and play a game. So much better than going somewhere with multiple TVs. Play a board game and enjoy your company by talking. The brewery was clean as well. There was also two aluminum bowls on the ground. I can only assume you can stop in with your dog. They hydrate with some quality H2O and you get a delicious unique beer. One thing I do wish for the future... homemade root beer! BONUS: If you are looking for a low key place for multiple friend to get together for an event and need a private room, they have that.

    Dos Estebans

Would definitely recommend coming in and trying some of their beer! I am pretty picky so I sampled the trail ale and tall girl. Ended up drinking the Dos Estebans. All were delicious and very well made. Service was excellent! Will definitely be back!

Great brewpub, with good selection of craft beers. Laid-back atmosphere and a positive vibe makes the beer taste even better!

Thankfully, we had food in our mouths so we didn't have to pretend to laugh at the comedians. I got a Mexican type beer. Luke warm. Wasn't good. Daughter and hubby got a peach sangria they both liked. No A/C Thursday night. Was there for the comedy show and we left after the 3rd comedian. Not our type of comedy at all. Stopped in Friday night. The A/C was on. Thankfully. Too bad they had the door open. You couldn't hear the inside musician over the bands playing outside. I ordered nothing. Hubby and daughter ordered the peach sangria again. Got the wrong peach drink. The bartender joked about so many peach drinks. I don't know if there are so many clarify. One drink and out the door since we couldn't hear the live music inside. It's an okay place. But people sitting and drinking need food.

We did especially enjoy a chocolate/cherry stout they had on tap. Wanted to buy a couple cans to go but it was tap only. Barkeep told us about the Growlers they had to go. So we did. Win-Win. Ambiance is pretty cool. They have a store front with a bar and then an entertainment venue in the back with live music.

The only good thing besides the one Artisan European style dinner roll was the authentic Dosseldorf mustard. Entree I ordered was 1 Beef sausage and a Pork sausage. Both called a different name in German. I ordered Germain potatoes and Red Cabbage. My beef sausage was way over cooked my pork sausage was fine and I guess they were of average flavor. The German potatoes were flavorless and no where close to German. My redcabbage was good. I ordered Mushroom gravy on my sausages. If done right that gravy is very good. However, they made this gravy with canned mushrooms and instant brown gravy mix and was pretty much flavorless. My dinner came with a dinner roll. They placed it on my dinner plate in the gravy. Couldn't pick it up without getting gravy on my hand. My date ordered a Weinerschnizel. It was good but very over cooked they gave my red Cabbage to her. She didn't order it but it was big enough to share. She ordered Pommfrietes (seasoned French fries not really authentic Pommfrietes. They were not so great. Server was over worked as they were busy. We had to get up with drink glasses and go chase down water refills. They kept the glasses and about a minute later the waiter walk by with our water glasses and gave them to two other people at a different table. I bought him on the way back by our table and said excuse me but you just gave our water to that table up front. He said oh yes, I did. I suggested he retrieve the 2 glasses of water before they drank out of them. He did do that. Brought them. Back to our table without us knowing if they drank out of our glasses. It was not fresh, it was not authentic and it resembled German foods by was a bad representation. I won't be back. Restaurant was clean no low dinner music. Ambiance was lacking. Waiter was a nice young man but either timid or thought he should not talk loud enough he wouldn't disturb other customers by talking to us. Oh and instead of putting our butter on a small plate or dish. They put it on my dinner plate in the gravy. This place was definitely not a class place. Not that it had to be. However, for their moderately priced menu. It needed to have more class than this restaurant showed.

Really big menu with lots of options. No photos so be sure to ask the server if you don't know what something is. They're pretty friendly and we went with a group of regulars so it was a riotously good time. Salad - average, not much to write home about. Spezi rum cocktail - Spezi is a German orange cola soda. Yummy! Rainbow trout - Pan fried for a good crisp edge but still buttery and juicy and oh so good. Very flavorful fish and a very generous portion, they gave me 2 filets which is kind of crazy. The rice is also very delicious. Spaeztl - served with butter and brown gravy as a side. They also have an entree version with cheese but I liked the simplicity of this version. Nice depth to the gravy and good texture on the noodles with a bit of springy bite. Not my favorite but decent.
