Love love love laylas! I'm very picky once it comes to eyebrows, nails, and hair salons. I like my stuff to be perfect and laylas has never let me down. The girls here are super nice and welcoming. They get straight to the point. I remember my first time coming in and I sat on the chair, I expected some conversation at first like "hi how are you doing today?" And then out of no where I heard like a little motorcycle running over my eyebrows (zzzt) & I felt two pieces of threat rip off my eyebrow hairs. At that time I knew the moment had came and it had caught me off guard. My eyes teared a little but the results were outstanding. I have not gone anywhere else ever since. Good job laylas ! Very impressed with the threading process, I've never gotten my eyebrows done but it was very quick and easy! I went to the Simi location because the Moorpark location had some bad reviews. The woman who threaded my eyebrows was very nice and professional. Glad I came here, and I've never waxed my eyebrows before but I'm sure threading is better. Oh and they're located inside the mall next door to ANGL by Macy's and the fireplace!! I had a hard time finding it because there's a Macy's on each side of the mall :) read more

I like this place for eyebrow and upper lip threading. The staff is pretty friendly at times and the prices are good. I recently took a leap of faith and got my whole face threaded. I have tried other threading places in town, but no one does it like Layla! They do it fast but they also take their time and actually care about what your eyebrow looks like as if it was their own. Great place. I am so happy to be done with waxing eyebrows! Threading FEELS better for me, and I don't' have any sticky residue or skin discoloration after threading. I love that I don't need an appointment, and I appreciate the discount they offer after your first visit. I'm thankful that they are open long hours, especially in the evening after a long work day. Just went there for the first time today, my birthday, not expecting to get eyebrow service for free, that was nice. The girl wasn't particularly friendly, didn't explain her procedure to me. Hurts awfully bad, and I'm pretty pain tolerant. She took off way too much brow in the space between my brows, now they look too far apart and I look stupid. I suggested they offer a warm moist compress to the brows before the treatment to open the pores and relax the skin, she just looked at me questioningly. Not a good experience and I DO NOT RECOMMEND this place. read more

Being an Uzbek girl, I have always had this problem of not getting my eyebrows in the same line. I mean there are very few places that did a good job when it come to connected eyebrows. But not Layla Threading, this place is professional and did it perfectly the way I wanted it. The right eyebrow exactly matched the left one. I enjoy Layla. It's inexpensive and they can clean up your brows fast and most of the time it's painless. This location tends to do my brows much better than other Laylas I've been too.
