She responded to my inquiry text right away and a few texts later, I was all booked! Her studio is inside the John of Italy Salon. Parking lot is big and right next to entrance, so that's easy. Inside the space are floor to ceiling windows, so there is a ton of natural light, which definitely helps Hidi give you the best, most flawless application. I asked her for brown/golden smokey glam and she absolutely nailed it. Throughout the appointment she would hand me the mirror to check-in and make sure I was happy with how things were progressing, which was super nice. Each time she handed me the mirror, I was more and more in love with her work. By the end of the appointment, I was literally staring at myself in the mirror in awe and feeling/looking like a million bucks. She also did light styling on my hair and gave me soft, gorgeous waves. Honestly, I walked out of the salon, looking like a movie star. The event was super hot and everyone was sweating, but miraculously my makeup stayed put. I otherwise had a great experience, I like the fullness and the individual strokes in my eyebrows. My issue is how asymmetrical they are in the center. I love the right one (on the left in the photo) but the other does not match at all. Lea was kind and offered a free touch up as needed at no charge, but I am now researching how to fade my left eyebrow at this point.

As of lately, it is very clear the priorities, customer service, and professionalism of the entire business has fell through the roof. I became sick of being upsold, filmed during services, and overall just another number on their calendar. My last straw was coming in for my scheduled appointment and both girls were on their phone. They informed me they are editing an instagram post and that it will only be another minute until they are be able to do my brows. I had not been acknowledged for 15 minutes, so I got up and left because I was going to be late for work. As the only client in the room, not being acknowledged for 15 minutes when there are two people capable of doing my brows sitting on their phones, was honestly so baffling to me. They texted me weeks later with an AI generated apology. As a business who claims to have "top-notch service...and professional atmosphere" (as per their website) this was very classless and ingenuine.
