During both recent experiences, the AAA virtual assistant said the technician had arrived, but the technician was nowhere to be found. Only after waiting 15-20 minutes did the technician call to say he was at the location and after confirming the address, he stated both times, "the navigation took me to the back street". I didn't catch the name of the first technician but the recent one was Merschad. I suspect he was the technician in the first poor experience due to the same line being used. On top of wasting time by sitting around not actually servicing peoples cars, the technician charged a $50 labor fee. When calling A&F directly, they claimed that independent vendors had the right to charge fees due to a need of special equipment. The car being serviced is a Honda Accord. What special equipment do you need to change a battery aside from a wrench... Overall I am very disappointed in the low level of professionalism by this technician. Having to wait is understandable. Being forced to wait even longer because the technician wants to sit in his car is inexcusable.

While the staff weren't rude (Erika in particular was helpful once I raised concerns), the overall experience was frustrating and felt like a **rigged system with no accountability.** They initially charged me **$953.63**, including: - **Over 2 hours of towing**, even though the trip from my location to their yard shouldn't have taken that long. - **Four full days of storage**, starting on April 11--even though, based on my later review of my Tesla's Sentry Mode footage, the tow didn't even happen until **11:23 PM on April 11**, and my car wasn't in the yard until **after 12:38 AM on April 12**. I caught the **invoice discrepancies while sitting in their office** and pointed it out. After some back and forth, they refunded **$112.38**, which tells you everything--you have to catch their errors in real time, or you'll be overcharged. Even after I paid, I waited **nearly an hour** to get my vehicle released. The staff themselves weren't the worst part--it's the fact that this place operates with **zero consumer choice and minimal oversight**, and you're expected to just pay and go. From past experiences, there are some pretty ghetto tow companies around so I was very surprised to see this one with a 4.5 Stars - so I decided to call and get more info (Thursday). Right away the representative was friendly. East to talk to and answered questions right away. He quoted me a particular price and to my surprise, it was more affordable than the usual tow guy we used in the pass. Keep in mind, the car that needed to be towed was not in an operating condition, it didn't start - so usually places will charge extra if your car doesn't start. So I told him that I would call him back on Saturday. So Saturday comes, my brother calls and gets another friendly representative. She quoted the same price the previous representative gave me and said that the tow tech would contact him within the next 10 minutes to confirm ETA. They take credit/debit card or you can also pay the Tow Tech Cash in person after the service. The tow tech texted my brother within the allotted time. I didn't realize how "hi-tech" the service was when it provided the name of the tow tech and it gave me a link to confirm service, I thought that was cool. The tow tech was named Nataly and I had second guessed myself. Yes, it was a woman's name. After confirming, a call from Nataly was received and she provided me with an ETA if 35 Minutes due to traffic in the area. Well, she arrived in an hour due to the previous customer leaving her keys in the tow truck. Which we didn't mind. She was transparent about the situation, Sh!+ happens. She was professional and provided good conversation as she towed the car to our storage facility. She went the extra mile to help tow the car into the garage space. Overall, the whole experience was professional and friendly. Smooth transaction and not ghetto at all. I would definitely recommend this place. They are available 24 hours and affordable which is a plus!
