I'm so surprised to see the negative reviews. My experiences with Alan Schroeder have been all good. I have been fortunate enough to utilize Alan's services a few times in the past, and now Alan has assisted me with a legal matter pertaining to Real Estate and WOW, the entire experience has been wonderful. He gently guided me through what felt like a very scary process. His work has been very professional, timely, and exactly what I needed to succeed. He will tell you what he can and cannot do for you. Another thing I have really appreciated about him is that he stays on top of everything, reminding me what needs to be done and when. He has taken the guess work out of this mysterious process! I highly recommend Alan Schroeder and am very grateful to have him in my corner. Mary Mattison read more

If i can summarize Alan and his services it be with just one word- unprofessional. In a time when our family was celebrating an adoption, Alan and his behavior managed to make things so difficult and stressful...it is very unfortunate that this will be the lasting memory we will have during such a special time in our lives. Things started well with a friendly consultation, it ended with a shouting match and Alan blocking my wife, me picking up my documents and taking over myself As soon as the money exchanged hands - things just changed with Alan. He was easily frustrated with our questions and was bothered to hear from us. Alan made several errors on our adoption paperwork which caused a delay on an already time sensitive situation. Instead of him apologizing and being humble....Alan offered to refund less than a 3rd of what we paid because he "didn't have time for our nonsense". I brought up that we needed to move quickly to serve someone in spite of the delay his errors created...Alan gave me a one word answer that "hopefully" we would be able to have this done on time "Hopefully"... it still astounds me how indifferent Alan became over our concerns due to the situation HE created This is what you will get with Alan. Be prepared for him to change after he cashes your check. Be prepared to be caught off guard by his passive aggressive short replies. Be prepared to be told to "go elsewhere if you want to pay way more!" When you are in need of help. I tried my best to tell Alan why I felt disappointed in his response to my concerns, but Alan railroaded the conversation and refused to hear me. Alan spoke over me, yelled, complained and became an emotional wreck who obviously has inherit insecurities that manifest into a defense mechanism that blocks his ability of being sympathetic towards the very people he "commits" to helping. After my fallout with Alan- he then went on to continue the process directly with my wife. We had no choice. My wife reluctantly opted to continue dealing with Alan because by this point we had already paid him a substantial amount of money. So rather then take Alan up on his offer to refund $300 - my wife decided to directly communicate with Alan to see the process through as time restraints on the situation would have led to no adoption and Alan keeping over $700 for having filled out some forms incorrectly. At least this way Alan would have to continue (begrudgingly) to work our case. How did it end with my wife? Inevitably Alan couldn't hold the professionalism together.. Alan would bring me up from time to time and my wife would change the subject. Alan got frustrated with my wife because she needed clarification on some things - all of a sudden Alan told my wife that she needed a lawyer. Alan never answered why and he ended the business relationship by blocking my wife because he just couldn't handle her questions Not surprising. As the other yelp reviews have had similar outcomes to Alan's "fantastic" service Yes this sounds like a lot, but I need to let the public know what they are in for with Alan. Let my example be enough to steer clear from Alan and help you to decide to go Elsewhere... read more

Don't ever use Alan. I had paper work filled out wrong in the beginning of a eviction and kept taking money from me. Trying to file all sorts of paper work that wouldn't even help me read more

DO NOT HIRE THIS PERSON! I do not recommend this person Alan Schroeder, He is very rude, once you pay him you will never here back from him. He won't answer your calls, texts or emails, and if he does it will be two or three days later to unprofessionally say not to be bothering him, that you have pay him for several services and not to update you or communicate with you regarding the process of your case. So you won't know if he ever filed or served or anything. And if you insist in wanting to know what has he done with your eviction he will block you so you won't be able to call him. Five months later, out of the nowhere I received an email from Alan from Lawtradr, this is what I called unprofessional and rude person, do not hired him he will stress you more instead of helping you. read more

Lawtradr - Legal Services Near Me - Lancaster, California

This guy is the worst. Very unprofessional and inept. ALL the paperwork he di had to be redone because he's ignorant to some facts. He'll take a clients bad situation and charge even more to take advantage. Please go to ANYONE but Alan. I complained and he got very aggressive and verbally abusive. If he had been in front of me I would have kicked ass. He is the Total ASSHOLE!!!! read more

I had a great experience with Alan. I called him last minute to have him serve papers that needed serving within 24hrs. Alan was professional and compared to the other servers in the area, his fee was the best. We had to have a couple who lived together served so he gave us a deal instead of charging us the full price for each person served. I would definitely use his services again and would definitely recommend him to my personal friends. I was skeptical considering the previous review, but decided to give Alen a shot anyway. I'm glad I did because he did get the job done without hassle. read more

I would NEVER EVER refer anyone to him or use him again. He charged me $550 to fill out my divorce papers and serve my ex but when I asked him when he would serve him he began to start calling me names and text me crazy things. All because I asked him a question about doing his job. Very unprofessional and quit psycho honestly. NEVER go to him. He has a screw loose. read more

ZERO STARS!!! This person needs to be fired from their position. Under no circumstance allow yourself to have this man help you out, because all he will do is take your money. And lord knows what he does with what you need help with; to top it off when reaching out asking what happened with paperwork (since he got his money) he replies (if you can even get a hold of him ) so unprofessional, rude! Belittles you cusses and laughs at your face. When you think you're paying for someone to help you and be professional, then they turn out to be the opposite and now you have another problem, that is terrible!! DO NOT HIRE ALAN! He needs to be fired because he truly doesn't care about his clients/customers & only about money+ ripping you off and blocking your number if you try and reach out. TERRIBLE SERVICE read more

This guy keeps mailing legal documents to my address for someone who does not live there. Although I have returned several envelopes, I continue to receive mail from this person. When I called to tell him that I keep receiving this mail he said, "Not my problem, ma'am." Real professional, buddy. read more

I wanna give this person a ZERO!! This is a person who's gonna tell you that he'll work all the job for your case and all you have to do is pay him. And then when he's fully paid, all he's gonna do is print out some papers and send it to whoever you're suing and then that's it. Then he's gonna later on charge you with another fee; which is not supposed to be the case because he said in the beginning that he'll gonna do everything and you don't have to worry about anything. This person is the most hustler person I've ever met. All I can say to Alan is 'karma's gonna serve you in the future'. read more

I wish I could give this place zero stars. I knew it was sketchy to begin with but my husband is always so hopeful. This man claimed to be a lawyer before we met. After meeting, he admitted to only being a legal representative; but for a starting price of $365 he could get all of the paper work and fill it out and only need some signatures before submitting it as many times as necessary to help my husband expunge his record from his youth to better support our new family. I searched avidly for this man's office (his name is Alan Schroeder) only to discover that it was in fact a house. He greeted us at the door with his shirt mis- buttoned and his shorts stained, in his slippers. I was appalled. But my husband was so optimistic. We sat in front of his dusty computer with his participation certificates all over the walls screaming his name. He seemed optimistic for my husband too. We brought him a money order for the amount specified. $360 is quite a bit of money, but our future is priceless. We didn't give it to him immediately. In fact, we left it in the car when we went to speak with him. We then walked outside to discuss whether it would be worth it. My husband was optimistic and I dared to hope. We paid the scumbag but he suggested we hold off on submitting any paper work until we had cleared up some minor traffic infractions. Eight months later, we received a package in the mail full of forms to sign and a business card. No instructions or feedback were included. My husband called the number on the card to determine what to do with the pile of paperwork we had received. The man in question (Alan Schroeder) began to cuss and yell at my husband, calling him vulgar names and saying that he had done what he was paid for. My husband asked what was wrong and asked him to calm down. Alan hung up on my husband. He sat there with his phone in his hands so hurt and confused. He decided to call Alan back to apologize if he had said anything to anger him and ask if the matter could be dealt with again more professionally. He left his phone number for a return call. Alan called back within five minutes and told my husband that if he called there again he would sue him for harassment and bring up all of his charges that he now knew and use it against him. He called him very vulgar names and acted extremely unprofessionally. He also did nothing that was agreed upon other than print out some papers. He even had the audacity to call my husband a con artist. LawTradr is a scam. Alan Schroeder is a con artist. He learns all of a person's vulnerabilities, he fuels their fear of the justice system, and then he steals from them and threatens them with the very thing he's led them to fear. Stay far away from this business. read more

Very unprofessional. The moment you pay in full, his response gets slow and he becomes rude when you follow-up.

DO NOT HIRE THIS CROOK!!!! Alan Schroeder incorrectly filled out my Legal Documentation incorrect & filed in the wrong county. I Jasmine Hernandez paid Alan $850 CASH to confirm today at court my legal documentation is incorrect and I was in the wrong jurisdiction. Alan Schroeder had an obligation to me. I am very displeased after calling Alan Schroeder today, he yelled at me and advised me I need to pay another fee of $600 if I want to the correct legal forms again. Alan's mistake not mine. Nothing can compensate me for the professional loss I sustained today in court, but I want to ensure that NOONE else hires Alan Schroeder AGAIN. Alan Schroeder commitments to his clients is ONLY THEIR MONEY, he can careless why you need to go to court. AGAIN DO NOT HIRE read more
