    I called to make an appointment on several occasions on the same day, 4-17-24. First, I tried to…read moremake an appt. with Dr. Ariel Goldberg. My situation was medically critical, so when the young woman who answers told me they were booked up, I POLITELY asked her to take a message and give it to this Dr. Ariel Goldberg to see if she might squeeze me in. The young woman not only did little but resist, and even argue with me for the next three minutes, she also forgot three simple things I has already told her three times, leading me to have to say, "I really must ask you to please pay attention." Then she asked me if I wanted to speak to her supervisor. Knowing that I'd never get connected, I told her to please do so anyway... and then I waited for several more minutes while no one ever came on the line. At 3:32, I saw another there's another dentist, Dr. Suzanne Maslo, listed at the same number, so I called again. The phone was answered by a woman who said she is that supervisor, and she did nothing but express seething contempt as she interrupted me over and over before I could finish my first sentence, and repeatedly said that the first woman hadn't forgotten anything, and she did her job exactly as she was supposed to do it. You know the saying, "If you let people show you what they are, they always do."? Well, Metro just did that thing, and not just for me. Metro just did that for you. Metro showed you that you will be treated viciously if you're dumb enough to trust Metro with your body. There are plenty of other fish in the sea, so you should go fishing for dental and medical treatment with those other fish ... except "Perfect Smile", that is, one of my former dentistry bad choices. Wow, does that corporate chain have bad ratings, and at every single one of its thirteen local offices, too. Maybe Metro Community Health Center and Perfect Smile will have a merger so you can get bad treatment at more places!

    I am absolutely furious right now. I just moved to the area and needed to establish care with a new…read moreprimary doctor in order to get my prescription refilled. I went onto the UPMC website and determined that I would try to get established with Dr. Gregory Walker. The system let me schedule an appointment online, which was amazing, so on 8/19/24, I scheduled for 9/6/24. Today, 8/26/24, I got a call from Lindsay in this office. She told me that my appointment time slot was not the right one for a new patient appointment and that the next new patient slot for Dr. Walker would be at the end of September. I told her that the system allowed me to book that slot and asked why I would be pushed all the way out to the end of the month when I'm trying to get in as soon as possible. She got a major attitude and told me that she would not go back and forth with me and that if I didn't want to schedule then that was fine. I absolutely refuse to be treated this way. From the beginning of the phone call, she was rude and was talking to other people while I was trying to speak. LINDSAY SHOULD BE FIRED. You should NOT have such a horrible person working in a customer-facing position at a doctor's office. Seems like I'm not the only person who has had issues with customer service here... Needless to say, I'm not going to be seen at this office.

In a nutshell, when we (husband and I) arrived for out back to back appointments, the office staff refused our insurance cards. Yep. They informed us they could "look us up in the system" just fine. We offered them a second time, "just in case", and were turned down. Of course, a month later, my husband receives a bill at his old address, with his old policy # billed. Gleason's staff is incompetent. I can't bill them for my wasted time, but I can inform others of their ineptitude.
