The scope of the job was huge (at least from my perspective). What impressed me most was the professionalism and obvious expertise. They took the time to understand exactly what I wanted, offered excellent recommendations, and made safety a clear priority. The overall job truly surpassed my expectations. Dan and his crew were also just good people - respectful, hardworking, and they treated my property like it was their own. I rarely write reviews, but I was so impressed I felt it was worth sharing. Highly recommend this outfit!

Adler & Sons Tree Services was founded in 1978. This business provides both residential services…read more(e.g., tree trimming, tree removal, stump grinding, and lot clearing) and commercial services (e.g., development clearing, row/right-of-way clearing, and land clearing). They are an ISA-certified member and employ their own in-house arborist. My friend had previously hired Adler & Sons to prune her trees, and she highly recommended them for my trees. On the business's website, I filled out a form to ask for an estimate to trim my few trees. A few days later, a very courteous employee visited my property to view the trees and to give an estimate. The cost to trim, thin, shape, and deadwood my 3.5 trees (one tree is on a property line) and to haul away debris was $1,000. Of course, the cost to trim other customers' trees would vary based on the size and condition of the trees, any nearby structures, the season of year, etcetera. A couple of weeks later, workers arrived at my property to perform the work. They spoke to me very courteously. They parked one of their trucks on top of protective pads in my driveway. Two other trucks were parked in the street. For over two hours, the employees used saws and a bucket truck to trim dead branches off my trees, and they used rakes to clean debris off the ground. Now my trees and yard look great. I now consider Adler & Sons to be my #1 tree company, and I highly recommend that other people hire them. Please note that this business also sells its mulch, filter-sock and other compost, sawdust, screened topsoil, and aggregates such as gravel, limestone, and crushed concrete.

This was my very first time talking to a tree removal business with Arborists. The person answering the phone is not creating a welcoming feeling. She speaks is such a condescending tone. I was sorry that I called and bothered her at her job (sarcasm) She spoke very fast without any emotion and seemed so annoyed when I asked questions. She didn't even let me finish my reason for calling when she barked at me " Address., Name. " She made me feel as if she was way to busy to deal with a customer. (the reason she has this job) Then when I mentioned that I wanted them to answer a couple questions about some ornamentals, she replied "that will have to be a seperate appointment" I asked why I had to have a second appointment for just some questions. She did not reply. I just wanted to get off the phone. UGH. I have not received a call back regarding any quote appointment, etc. I will not use this company or recommend them. They should rethink how they allow office staff to speak to customers. I am sure I am not the only one that has experienced the attitude.

I ran to the store seeing how much they had to do I assumed I had all day. I also wanted to get a tip for them for the chips. When I came back they were packed up and leaf blowing the area, it looked so clean. But they opened the supply truck and the chip truck and unloaded chips for me, they are heavy and the are had to be re blown, and the trucks repacked before they could go. On top of that they refused my tip. I use the chips for compost to grow food. This was so nice. They smiled and acted like it was the easiest thing in the world, it was genuine kindness.

The two stars are based on the high quality of their website -- I've got nothing else to go on, unfortunately. We stopped by the Streets Run location hoping to talk with someone; the brother of the owner (or one of the owners?) was in the parking lot and gave us the number of the owner. We called the number, talked with him, and gave him our details. He was very accommodating and said he'd drop by the next day to check out our home's potential landscaping area. He didn't -- and he also didn't call back to reschedule. We'd shifted our plans and stayed home all day, waiting for some sort of check-in. My husband called him again mid-afternoon to see what the status was; there was no answer and no response to the message we left. That was last week. Your website looks great and your work seems wonderful. But if you waste people's time like this, it's just a non-starter.
