STAY CLEAR OF THIS BUSINESS!!!…read more Absolutely terrible workmanship!! My turf installation is horribly un-level. His craftsmanship fails at every task. He does not take time to square anything, cut proper angles or lengths of materials. My turf dimensions were 1 foot off in the width and 4 foot off in length. His crews use cheap tools with extremely dull blades on the saws making the cuts horrible. He destroyed the side of my yard bringing in the materials and left my yard in ruins. He brought me a bag of "Kentucky" grass seed to plant in my Zoysia grass as a repair. They left a huge mess in my culdesac where the sand and dirt were delivered. Now he will not answer a text or phone call. We are hoping to take him to court to recover some funds to have the turf and yard repaired. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS MAN. HE MAY BE CHEAPER BUT IT WILL COST YOU MORE IN THE LONG RUN!!!

I want to give a review for Sarros Landscaping. Phil and his team totally transformed my current…read moreyard into the dream yard we didn't even know was possible. First, we had a nice backyard, but we had a yard that sloped to the house that never grew grass very well and always suffered with some drainage issues. Phil recommended and put in a paver potio that included great looking stones, firepit and pergola to give it character and style. I cannot say how much we love this patio. We cook down there with our grills/smokers, we have weekend fires in the fire pit for s'mores and cooking, and we love to just sit and relax as we hear the birds and watch the kids play on this transformed area. Second, we bought the house for the yard in the past for the trees and adventure, but our kids wanted grass to run/play. This is where Phil recommended putting in a retaining wall and leveling or backyard (with appropriate grade for drainage) to put a beautiful grass filled yard. This involved lots of prep, grading, tree removal and planning but the results are amazing. Phil not only put in zoysia grass and planned plants, replants, and beds all around my house, but had the new sprinkler systems put in to help water the investment. Phil also put grass all around the house and even put in yard lights (which I have always wanted) to shine on the house and tree canopy's which makes things look so great at night. Phil even helped me put in a tree swing between two trees since we had to take out a dying tree that we previously had a swing on. Third, and most importantly, Phil is great to work with... I am an engineer so I am detailed and I want to discuss things regularly. Phil ALWAYS had the time to talk, plan, and make sure that we were lock step in what we were doing with the yard and what the expectations were from both parties. Lastly, when the job is completed, Phil doesn't go away. He still welcomes calls to check on things, come look at the job and make sure things look right, and give advice on anything that his team has helped put in. When you invest in something that matters you want to give it to a person who is going to care about your investment as well and that is what Phil does. I have a high standard of how I want things to look when they are done at my house. Many times I do these things on my own because I can do it well. I have also learned to hire people who are qualified to do excellent work because I know I won't regret it for the years to come when I look at that investment over the years. Investing with Sarros Landscaping was a no brainer. We love our house, our yard, our new way of living, and I can't wait for the years to comes being out there and enjoying the outdoors.

I used Georgia Landscape for about 15 years for firewood but they stopped offering that service…read morelast year, so had to find another provider. The wood that I got from the provider last year was just fine but It wasn't a true cord. The big deal to me is when ordering a cord-what are you going to get? You'll find plenty of companies that deliver "by the truckload" and by "half cord/cord", etc. However if they tell you that they are selling a "cord" of wood, it is critical to know how they measure that cord. A true cord is 4'x4'x8' or 128 cubic feet. A typical full size pickup truck with 8' bed will hold at most about 1/2 cord. A "face" cord is 8'x4' with a typical length of wood about 16". So with a face cord you are only getting about 1/3 of a true cord. Be very careful and ask exactly what their definition is of a cord and only pay for what you want and expect to get. Now to Champion Yard Services. I found them on my Nextdoor App where they advertised the sale of wood. They showed pictures of the wood (like many companies do) and quoted prices for different sizes-1/2 cord, full cord and what it would cost to either deliver and stack, deliver and carry to a place not directly where they bring the truck to, or self pickup. They indicated that the cord size was a true cord or 4'x4'x8'= 128 cubic feet All costs were clearly disclosed-they hid nothing. I emailed them 2 times to make sure that the cord was a true cord in measurement and they assured me it was, so I ordered 2 cords and asked them to look at Google maps so they could see that my driveway was on a hill and my stacking point was up 12 steps and about 45 feet from the parking area. In other words, not the easiest delivery and I held my breath hoping that I'd get what I was paying for. They delivered as scheduled, one day after the order was made. The 2 cords of wood were in "cages" exactly as shown on the website and the wood was exactly like the pictures-no "file" photos-no tricks. In addition they sent 4 guys to haul the wood to my backyard. It wasn't an easy job (I've done it many times myself) and the guys worked very hard for about 2 hours without any complaints-very nice guys-all pleasant and very polite. The next day Jimmy the owner called to make sure that I was happy with the wood and the delivery. I can say without question I got exactly what I hoped to get-2 cords; the wood is clean, appears to be aged at least a year, no "scrapes" or tiny pieces of wood, no filler wood (pine) and exactly the length that was expected (about 16"-18"). I paid what I think was a fair price for the wood and the labor. I recommend them without any hesitation and will use them again. I hope that your experience will be as good as mine--

I hired an independent (smaller company) tree service before hiring DTS, and it was a nightmare! DTS was reffered to me by a family friend and I'm happy they were. We needed our backyard cleared for a new playground set for our kids. DTS is These 100% capable of handling big or small jobs. This company has all the right employees and equipment. All limb debris were chipped onsite and leftover large logs were neatly staged roadside for pick up, while all lose debris were hauled away in a dump truck! The crew shows up and waste no time getting right to it! We are so happy we hired them and will not hesitate contacting them again for future projects. I was outside speaking to the plumber and saw the Duncan truck driving by. We flagged him down, he gave us and estimate on the spot and was out the next day. The Maple was about 80 ft tall and close to the house. They cut it down with no damage to the property and cleaned everything up. Honestly, you would have never known they were there or the tree was there. They are amazing, professional, dependable and the pricing is fantastic. The plumber even used them to remove trees in his yard! Use them; you won't be disappointed!
