As I read these reviews and begin to speak about my own experiences with LMP I wonder the rates that are being conveyed and the service or "maintenance" that is actually being completed to the quality which is being paid for. I have had LMP for a year now and over the course of this time we paid for an initial assesment and quote for items needing attention. This included sprinkler heads, shrub clean up, cut and edge, removal, along with a couple leaks. Since they "maintenance" my yard I questioned the damage I began seeing after cuts, and advised I would be quoted for any repairs needed, mind you it is there company causing the repairs that are needed, the replacements used were wrong and too short to keep my yard "maintenanced". At this time I am still waiting for a response to emails sent after having a supervisor show up walk around the yard and leave then advise more costs are needed to fix what they should have fixed all along. And was told that they do not normally fix irrigation and getting another company in would be best. However they just "maintenance" the yard. I'm done throwing my money away to lazy, incompetent, over booked company! Like the review of the snowbirds which had shrubs, trees and grass dead. I to have been scammed. read more

The only reason I am providing one star is because of the professionalism of the office staff, the scheduled appointment reminders, and the reliability of the crew to show up for scheduled appointments. That being said, I have been greatly disappointed in the maintenance of my yard. When I initially signed up for the service, I was required to pay an initial fee to have my yard cleaned up (bushes significantly cut down, weeded, etc.). After that, I signed up for the monthly yard maintenance; which involved keeping bushes trimmed and weeding. My yard does not have grass. On an on-going basis, I was noticing that the bushes were not even touched visit after visit, as evidenced by their growth and the uneven edges. On at least 4 occasions, I sent the office an email indicating this (as evidenced in pictures), and the crew was sent back out. On at least 3 occasions, weed spray was used in the backyard, despite the instructions not to use it in that area. On one occasion, I asked one of the crew if he was planning on trimming the bushes in the backyard and he began arguing with me, which resulted in a call to the office. Recently, a Supervisor came out to discuss my concerns. I explained that on the most recent monthly visit, that the crew spent a total of 10-15 minutes blowing the leaf blower, yet doing nothing else. I showed him all f the untrimmed bushes and weeds in the rocks. I also explained that monthly maintenance to me means keeping bushes trimmed so they do not become too large to manage. At which time, I was told that the uneven edges and lack of trimming was "acceptable" and that it was up to the crew's discretion to decide when to trim things. At this time, I decided that this service was a complete waste of money, time, and energy! read more

This company is full of crooks! I had this company work for me for a few months. They hap hazardly performed all services. Their employees are rude. They blow everything around and never clean up. They trim every once and awhile and all my shrubs and trees are way overgrown. I could never get them to do a better job. I fired them. They are not licensed. read more

Warning: Your results may vary... $100.00 for 10-15 minute service, for once every 4 week service arrangement. When I checked the property right after the service was completed I found: - Leaves still on deck chairs - Bushes untrimmed - Rockscape un-raked (one part where the city bins are rolled out from) The reply email immediately started with their terms of service... I don't care how genuine your offers are to address the issue that a customer has; when you start with your terms of service as the 'go to' immediately after a basic salutation of "Hi [Name],", and leave your customer service offers at the end of your email... then you're not a company that deserves my patronage. Wow, not even a customer yet and seems shady. Looked for a quote for irrigation line to be connected to the back yard... its a very small yard. Well, the phone contact was very nice but I do not think the quote person showed up on the day they were scheduled to (Friday). We have a motion sensored camera system around our home and my husband was home along with our very loud dogs on Friday and Monday. After all day Monday- we still saw nothing of anyone showing up and no quote. Mind you- we were told we get a quote the same day. So, trying to give the benefit of the doubt.. Maybe for some reason the person came undetected (though we saw the amazon person and the A/c maintenence pros)... or maybe something got missed on the schedule. 10 minutes after calling to inquire... told the quote person went home- got a quote sent to me.... it was for OVER twice as much as the other place we received a quote from. So, either they came out and they charge waaaay too much or.. someone was pissed that they got bothered by a potential customer and put some bologna quote number to ward off business... either way... pretty disappointed. read more

They gave me a competitive price so I have signed up for every two weeks on Fridays. The first appointment no one showed and I had to call them. It was apparently too late in the day to make it out so they scheduled for Monday. They showed up Monday, but still left behind a few patches of grass in my rocks. Two weeks later on Friday I didn't receive my reminder text so I called by 10AM. Once again they can't make it on the day we had originally scheduled. We are now expecting them to come again Monday. I doubt this company will be used much beyond the summer. UPDATE: To top things off they just immediately processed a payment when I was told they would not take payments until after they show up. I called back again and they indicated that I had not made the payment for the first visit. I corrected them by reminding them that they have my card information and it is they who forgot to process the transaction. There was literally no attempt to apologize or show any concern. I have cancelled my scheduled service and will find a more capable organization. read more

LMP is great. I've used them several times to do great trimming, of two citrus trees and several different small, medium, and large palm trees. Their clean up is impeccable and I trust them to do a good job even when I am not home. They are the first person I call for my lawn care maintenance. read more

I am so pleased with the work they did. I had to call them after using non-professionals to finish the job. They did my front yard, removing deep rooted bushes and planting hibiscus and also had to tame an unruly mesquite tree that was invading my neighbors yard. Pricing is exhorbitant and "subjective". Scheduling is difficult and unreliable. I feel fleeced on the clean-up charges, but will hold off on further judgement till I see how regular maintenance goes. They stated that the initial clean-up would not include any adjustments to the sprinkler system and that they would not even touch it, Yet when I went outside to check their progress I found 2 of their guys fooling around with the sprinkler control box and the water controls for the house! Further maintenance is scheduled only when I am home and they can be 'watched'. read more

If I could, I would give this company no stars. They completely scalped my pigmy date palms, and all they said was that was how they always did it. I have owned these type of plants for over 30 years and have never had an issue with pruning. It will take years for my palms to recover. This company is also very expensive. DON'T USE. read more

DON'T USE THESE GUYS!!! If I could give them a negative 5 stars I would!! They do a horrible job. They are high priced and not worth the cost they charge. Our yards look horrible due to their stripping all of our bushes and trees of all bottom branches and leaves! We on more than one occasion communicated how we wanted the bushes to be shaped. In fact, It took us a year to get the bushes and trees to the shape and fullness we wanted. We came home to find mushroomed shaped bushes and our Hibiscus's both stripped completely of all of the bottom leaves and branches. Who does that? They butchered our yard!! We are so disappointed and upset, that now instead of enjoying our yard, we walk outside and immediately get angry when confronted with how horrible our yard now looks!! read more

I just fired this company for not showing up ,but deducting the fee from my account. When I called them that they did not show up , he insinuated that I was not telling the truth.. Then he sent a manager over to inspect what was not done. And I then received a call saying that the manager inspect the property and said it looked great. However I was in the back yard all morning . I told them that ,and his response was I don't know if he went in the back yard . Really the problem is in the back yard. So he charges $70.00 every 2weeks on property that is desert landscape. This company is totally here for the money. They can not be trusted.. DON'T GIVE THEM YOUR HARD EARN MONEY read more

I can say with certainty that this is the worst lawn maintenance service in the area. We have lost(dead) 2 trees and 9 plants over a 18 month span. Being snowbirds I would expect to have better communication between the home owner. If you have a line leak and they turn the water off you would think they would call and let you know. The initial weed clean up of my front yard is better than I expected and SO glad I engaged them for ongoing regular monthly maintenance. These guys came out to fix up my front yard a few months ago and trim two trees- a desert willow and Palo verde. The price they quoted was reasonable and lower than another company had quoted. My front yard was a disaster (weeds, bushes that needed trimming, debris) and the two trees were overgrown, but they trimmed everything up very well and got rid of the weeds and all the debris. A very clean job! I couldn't believe the difference. I wish I had taken a before and after photo. They did this all in less than an hour. I was very pleased with their services. If I need to get my yard fixed up again by a professional I will definitely be going back here. Edited to add since another reviewer mentioned how other companies wouldn't call back, that is the same situation I had with the other company that quoted me. They said they were going to be coming back to quote the work, but never showed up. When I called them again, they said they were there and it was be X amount of dollars. No one showed up so I don't know where they got the quote from. If they drove by, then how could they have seen the tree in the backyard? Not only did Lawn Maintenance Pros show up, but they did so when they said they would and actually rang the doorbell and introduced themselves and gave an on the spot quote after viewing the damage and discussing what we would like done. We have used LMP a few times and have always received reasonable bids and good quality work. I've had them remove a Mesquite tree, remove shrubs and trim other shrubs, and trim all the front yard shrubs at my new home. They are not punctual and have come later than the scheduled time on each of three visits, but for their reasonable price and good quality work, I can deal with the wait. read more

The customer service at LMP is pretty dismal. Phone calls are not returned, appointments are not kept, and customers are yelled over when trying to talk. On the first service visit LMP employees asked me how much I was charged and when I told them they said it wasn't enough. I don't think a customer should have to deal with LMPs employee issues. We requested weed killer be applied once and it never was, they missed service dates, and did sloppy work, but the final straw for us was when we found out that while gathering up the cut vegetation in our yard they pulled heads off our solar powered lights and apparently threw them out. When we cancelled service with LMP we were told we owed them money. We had requested once a month service and paid for once a month service until we cancelled the service, and then suddenly they tell us we owe them money because they've been coming out every 3 weeks. Not once in 19 months did anyone tell us we were behind or contact us to find out why we only sent payment once a month. When I was talking to a representative on the phone he looked up our agreement and told me they had made a mistake, that we had requested once a month service. When I asked him to send me a copy of that he sends me something that says we agreed to every three weeks. I know how to use Photoshop too. I would not recommend using LMP. read more

After using an individual, non-licensed guy for a couple of years and suffering through hit-and-miss scheduling, missed appointments and fluctuating pricing, I gave LMP a call. I've had them coming over for a few months now and I have to report that I'm glad I did. Their pricing is quite reasonable and they always show up when promised. They do a professional job and do the job quickly. I don't often write reviews unless I'm dissatisfied. However, it's refreshing to find a quality service that delivers as promised. This would have zero stars, if I could. I absolutely do not recommend Lawn Maintenance Pros. Two of their Employees came to our home to give us an Estimate on removing two large Sissoo Trees. Chris and another employee were confident that they could cut our trees down without issue. We spoke at length about this job; the size of the trees, how long it would take, where they were located and I was assured that there would be no problems. We were given an Estimate that we accepted and Scheduled an Appointment for the trees to be removed. Today was the day. LMP showed up on time but after about 20min, they left. Just packed up and drove off. Shortly after, I received a call from Chris telling me that the job was canceled; it was too big for them. I was confused because Chris was the one to give me their Estimate, Chris and I spoke at length regarding this job. He knew exactly what the job entailed. When I expressed my displeasure at them canceling and the waste of my time and a Vacation Day from work, Chris laughed. He found it amusing. Very unapologetic, very unprofessional. read more

On a whim, answered the door to LMP and took a chance on a one time trim of everything. The price was almost too good but gave them a shot. Holy Cow, & awesomeness. Great job! We have 9 large queen palms, 4 large fan palms, lemon tree, & oleanders in the back and shrubs in the front. They trimmed it all, clean up was great, they raked our rock and all for a great price. So then we thought we would try them on a monthly basis. Also a great price, we're on auto debit, they show up every 4 weeks and have had them for a year now. Highly recommended. read more

LMP has the best crews working for them! I have their monthly service for my front yard and have had them do cleanup work on my backyard. Today I had them remove a dead tree! The guys got the tree out and then cleaned the area so it doesn't even look like there was anything there before they removed the tree! Their estimates are very reasonable and often below other quotes I've gotten for service. And they fully honor the estimates! I don't even bother to get other quotes now! Nate was awesome. I did not know what to expect. I am not from AZ. I am a new home owner and just recently moved in. I was written up by my HOA and had to correct some front yard issues. Nate came out the next day and wrote up an estimate for me. He was able to get a crew out the next day. That day came and the crew did an outstanding job for the price. I am not sure why this company does not seem to want my business. I first requested online for an estimate. Was contacted almost immediately and scheduled an estimate within a couple of days. The gentleman who came out was great. Very knowledgeable and I was feeling good--finally maybe a lawn service would do what they say and show up! Well, he made a pretty big deal about staying on a 4 week schedule, which was OK with me. They arrived as scheduled and did my initial work. This, of course, was at a higher price than the regular monthly maintenance will be. They did a pretty good job, although did not do some things that I had requested. They came back and corrected those. I was told that I would receive an email when my 4 week visit would occur. 5 or 6 weeks later I called and, of course, had to leave a message. When they called back, I was told that I was never placed on a "maintenance" schedule. So, I asked to please be put on one. I was told that they could not come until the following week since that is when they are in this neighborhood. I got a recorded confirmation call on the next Tuesday saying they would be here on Wednesday--they give you a time frame--you can call morning of to see where you fall on the schedule. I called and left a message asking when they might arrive. No return call and they never showed up! Sent an email--no response. SO, I will need to try and find someone else--they are all unreliable it seems--and probably pay another "initial fee". I can not recommend this company. read more

they are the worst came out they used a weed cutter to cut both lawns dead spots all over both lawns sprayed weed killer on on some of shurbs now dead not trim anything by pool knocked over things broke solor lights and other things in yard did not put anything back had them to do my sprinkler system also had to call them three times got up this morning and it broke again where they fixed it the manager came out and looked at the mess he said it was a really bad job that was done .we asked for our money back 375.00 he said would give 50.00 it took two phone calls to even get the 50.00 back and it does not make up for how my lawns looks and my sprinklers are still broken i would NOT recommend this company to anyone read more
