Showed up on time, was quick and friendly, and the windshield looks great. Will definitely use again. Thank you!

Worked well with State Farm in Stanwood, very pleased with outcome. 2 Years later, hit one of those yellow safety posts at gas station, minor damage. I went into Gerber and asked about an estimate. They are very busy (booked out months), and Don asked if he could just look at it for a quick estimate. I said sure, that would be great. The damage is a 6 inch dent, on/or below door level passenger side back door, with the yellow paint stuck on my black truck. The yellow paint made it look worse, the dent is there, but not real noticeable by itself. (The yellow paint stain was gross). That said, Don came out and looked and told me my options. One option was how to get rid of the yellow paint stain. He said, get/buy this..... and get/buy that.....and I said, let me write this down. Don said, I can just do that for you now. 1 minute later the yellow paint was gone, and I had the dent and the bare steel left, but Don gave me a solution. Thank you Don, you are a true General Manager. 3 accident events in 3 years, and Don handled them with the utmost Professionalism and quickness. Thank You Don.

It seems I have a duty to write this review, to help others when choosing a body shop. I was rear…read moreended six months ago and needed repair work on the bumper, quarter panel and rear door, so I chose Gerber after several quotes because the office people seemed professional and knowledgeable. The repair work was actually pretty good, paint matching, body work, all seemed okay. The problem was a failure to *cross the T-s and dot the I-s*, as they say. After picking up my car, I was halfway home before I realized my rear windshield that needed replaced was not tinted after installation (all my other windows are tinted, and so was the rear windshield when I brought it in). While looking closely at it, I noticed the trim panels around the window were not even tucked in around it, either. Panel hanging down, and foam sticking out around it. It was a sloppy install, for sure. I called Gerber and they were apologetic, and said if I brought my car back in the next day, they would get the tint done. No problem. But, they were unable to authorize a second rental car for the day on my same insurance claim (I had just returned the rental car I had for several weeks during my car's repair), so I had to pay out of pocket for a rental and fight with the insurance company for weeks to get them to reimburse me. Anyway, window tint fixed. About two weeks later, I was wiping some leaves off the roof and noticed the trim panel on the roof (the one that covers the mounting brackets for the roof rack) was not fastened back down, and it just flopped all over the place....not sure how it didn't fly off while I was driving during the weeks before! They had not replaced the fasteners to hold it down. Called Gerber again, and they found some clips to re-install it, so I went back down there. Anyway, roof trim fixed. Fast forward to last weekend. Six months after getting my car back. I pulled on my rear door handle while the car was locked, and it opened anyway. After some testing, I noticed the power door lock was not functioning for that door, either with my key fob or the power lock switch, but it would work manually if I flipped the switch on the door. I didn't suspect it was an issue from Gerber's work 6 months ago, I thought maybe some part of the door lock was malfunctioning or something, so I looked up some info and prepared to inspect it. After removing the door panel, I quickly noticed the wiring connector for the power lock on that door was not plugged in, and the connector was actually tucked into the door itself (it's worth mentioning the plastic film inside the door was torn wide open and not replaced or even taped back up). Then it occurred to me....Gerber had failed to re-connect my power lock cable and my rear door had been unlocked for six months since I got my car back, because the switch was not connected. I sent an email to Gerber this week to let them know, and haven't heard back. I don't expect them to do anything about it now, but I felt I should at least let them know about this oversight. In the end, I won't be able to recommend this repair shop to anyone, there were too many issues of things not being handled correctly and "buttoned down" the way they should. BTW, there's also a weird rattle in the back of my car since the repair, but I don't have any proof it's because of something they did (though I suspect there's a 10mm socket rolling around in my bumper or something!). Please use this review to inform your decision when choosing a body shop.
