I was already feeling good vibes. He happened to have openings that day. Dropped my car off in the afternoon. Got it back in the same afternoon. I was okay picking it up the next day, so I was surprised by the quick turn around. After installing high-end aftermarket parts, plus labor, the price was very reasonable compared to other options in the area. When I picked up my car, Dan took me on a tour of his clean shop filled with badass custom cars they are currently working on. Had a great conversation with him about mech stuff. When I'm looking for a restaurant or any service, I'm the type of person who looks for places with thousands of reviews online with at least 4 stars. This shop has only 11 reviews with 4.5 stars. But man, this shop is so stealth! Even my mom, who's not a car person, was like, "you've been here this whole time?!" Dan happens to be a 20+ year master technician from Toyota. So, I'm never going to another dealership or anyone else for service when I'm in Washington. (I'm from California and was visiting family) I'll recommend my friends as far out as Seattle to check this shop out!

I have drove my truck maybe 300 miles since getting back last October. They installed two window handles and both have fallen off the door. Dan could not even tell me if the 4.8l vortec and the 5.3 liter vortec are the same except the pistons tops. He said "i dont know" he tell me his shop fixes all the other shops mistakes cause they dont know whay they are doing. No Dan you guys cant even install window handles. They are only good for tint. Dont go here and stay away from Dan. Wish I could give it 000000 stars When talking to dan he come off as a cocky gear head who really doe not know shit. Call and pick his brain he has no clue. Maybe his guys do but this small little.man with a mullet is a joke. They charged 179. For a window regulator Online same part. 30 dollars Bbk headers they charged 525 with a 19 dollar delivery. 19 dollars for the part to be delivered to this shop? See pic below. Online price 445 free shipping. Now the fuel pump. They charged 286 for this pump. This is not a racing pump, nothing special. Online 156 dollars!! Then charged me 402 dollars. For labor. That almost 700 dollars for a fuel pump?

I drove one hour both ways to get it done at Skyline, which I think tells you how badly wanted to get the windows tinted here. Here are pros and cons, followed by my advice. PROS + Andrey is responsive. He answers questions thoroughly and responds to emails quickly. + He is in this business for 20 some years, and he know the stuff. I went in thinking I will go with 35%, but he recommended 30% and advised against going any lighter than that. Initially, I was a bit worried that 30% would be too dark, but I'm glad I followed his advice. 30% is exactly what I wanted and looks great. It's like picking a paint color for your house. You would know until you see it on the house, but experienced professionals know what it will look like. + I thought the price was reasonable. I chose a single layer ceramic film by autobahn. It took them 4 hours to install it on my C43 coupe (side windows and the back). I paid $400 plus tax. With the quality of work and the time it took them, I don't think $400 is bad at all. + It was clear to me that customer experience was important to Andrey. He threw in a bottle of window cleaner made by autobahn for free. I found two really minor scratches on the passenger door (probably caused by finger nails, nothing deep). Instead of arguing with me he offered to buff them out. CONS - I can't think of anything. MY ADVICE @ If you need to kill time while they are working on your car, Alderwood Mall isn't too far. As I had 4 hours to kill, I walked there and back. It took me 40 minutes each way. Adjacent to the mall are H-Mart (Korean grocery store), Costco, and a couple of strip malls. @ As always, whenever you give your key to anyone, take pictures of the car. I usually take pictures and video tape the car. Although I didn't have to deal with it with Andrey, it's the only way to avoid your word against theirs. @ It comes with 3~5 days of curing time. During that, you cannot roll down your windows. Also, you may see some minor bubbles, but they are supposed to disappear. Once the curing time is over, I will post some photos. In any case, I highly recommend Skyline Tint Shop! ************************************************************ If you found my review helpful, don't forget to hit "useful" and/or "cool"!
