I was already feeling good vibes. He happened to have openings that day. Dropped my car off in the afternoon. Got it back in the same afternoon. I was okay picking it up the next day, so I was surprised by the quick turn around. After installing high-end aftermarket parts, plus labor, the price was very reasonable compared to other options in the area. When I picked up my car, Dan took me on a tour of his clean shop filled with badass custom cars they are currently working on. Had a great conversation with him about mech stuff. When I'm looking for a restaurant or any service, I'm the type of person who looks for places with thousands of reviews online with at least 4 stars. This shop has only 11 reviews with 4.5 stars. But man, this shop is so stealth! Even my mom, who's not a car person, was like, "you've been here this whole time?!" Dan happens to be a 20+ year master technician from Toyota. So, I'm never going to another dealership or anyone else for service when I'm in Washington. (I'm from California and was visiting family) I'll recommend my friends as far out as Seattle to check this shop out!

Take a look at my photos. I have drove my truck maybe 300 miles since getting back last October. They installed two window handles and both have fallen off the door. Dan could not even tell me if the 4.8l vortec and the 5.3 liter vortec are the same except the pistons tops. He said "i dont know" he tell me his shop fixes all the other shops mistakes cause they dont know whay they are doing. No Dan you guys cant even install window handles. They are only good for tint. Dont go here and stay away from Dan. Wish I could give it 000000 stars When talking to dan he come off as a cocky gear head who really doe not know shit. Call and pick his brain he has no clue. Maybe his guys do but this small little.man with a mullet is a joke. They charged 179. For a window regulator Online same part. 30 dollars Bbk headers they charged 525 with a 19 dollar delivery. 19 dollars for the part to be delivered to this shop? See pic below. Online price 445 free shipping. Now the fuel pump. They charged 286 for this pump. This is not a racing pump, nothing special. Online 156 dollars!! Then charged me 402 dollars. For labor. That almost 700 dollars for a fuel pump?

It seems I have a duty to write this review, to help others when choosing a body shop. I was rear…read moreended six months ago and needed repair work on the bumper, quarter panel and rear door, so I chose Gerber after several quotes because the office people seemed professional and knowledgeable. The repair work was actually pretty good, paint matching, body work, all seemed okay. The problem was a failure to *cross the T-s and dot the I-s*, as they say. After picking up my car, I was halfway home before I realized my rear windshield that needed replaced was not tinted after installation (all my other windows are tinted, and so was the rear windshield when I brought it in). While looking closely at it, I noticed the trim panels around the window were not even tucked in around it, either. Panel hanging down, and foam sticking out around it. It was a sloppy install, for sure. I called Gerber and they were apologetic, and said if I brought my car back in the next day, they would get the tint done. No problem. But, they were unable to authorize a second rental car for the day on my same insurance claim (I had just returned the rental car I had for several weeks during my car's repair), so I had to pay out of pocket for a rental and fight with the insurance company for weeks to get them to reimburse me. Anyway, window tint fixed. About two weeks later, I was wiping some leaves off the roof and noticed the trim panel on the roof (the one that covers the mounting brackets for the roof rack) was not fastened back down, and it just flopped all over the place....not sure how it didn't fly off while I was driving during the weeks before! They had not replaced the fasteners to hold it down. Called Gerber again, and they found some clips to re-install it, so I went back down there. Anyway, roof trim fixed. Fast forward to last weekend. Six months after getting my car back. I pulled on my rear door handle while the car was locked, and it opened anyway. After some testing, I noticed the power door lock was not functioning for that door, either with my key fob or the power lock switch, but it would work manually if I flipped the switch on the door. I didn't suspect it was an issue from Gerber's work 6 months ago, I thought maybe some part of the door lock was malfunctioning or something, so I looked up some info and prepared to inspect it. After removing the door panel, I quickly noticed the wiring connector for the power lock on that door was not plugged in, and the connector was actually tucked into the door itself (it's worth mentioning the plastic film inside the door was torn wide open and not replaced or even taped back up). Then it occurred to me....Gerber had failed to re-connect my power lock cable and my rear door had been unlocked for six months since I got my car back, because the switch was not connected. I sent an email to Gerber this week to let them know, and haven't heard back. I don't expect them to do anything about it now, but I felt I should at least let them know about this oversight. In the end, I won't be able to recommend this repair shop to anyone, there were too many issues of things not being handled correctly and "buttoned down" the way they should. BTW, there's also a weird rattle in the back of my car since the repair, but I don't have any proof it's because of something they did (though I suspect there's a 10mm socket rolling around in my bumper or something!). Please use this review to inform your decision when choosing a body shop.
