Awesome service! Came in to get an estimate to repair some clear coat/paint damage. They looked at it and said maybe they could simply buff it out. They dropped everything they were doing, brought out their equipment, buffed it out and it looked like new. Saved me a trip back and they refused any payment. It was on the house. Whoever I talked to on the phone does not seem like she knows what she's talking about unfortunately. I did not get serviced from this business for that reason. Not sure if this is rather a one-off experience (certainly could be) and maybe the actual service is great, but having someone who sounds clueless does not make me feel inclined to move forward with the service. I am happy to say that Hanson Auto Rebuild should be lauded for their patience and tenacity in finding a passenger side rear view mirror for my 2006 Honda CRV. It literally took a couple of months and three false starts being sent the wrong or a broken mirror from that vendor, that finally the necessary mirror arrived and could be painted and mounted in no time flat. All through the process, they kept in touch with me via text and phone and really did a great job to not only do a great job on the bumper, but make sure the pricing was right with the insurance settlement. I have never took the time to write a review but I feel its so necessary to write this one. I recently brought my vehicle into Hanson for repair. When I arrived I was greeted by a nice woman. She walked threw my vehicle with me. And read over some paperwork and I went on my way. It wasn't until later that evening that I received a phone call from one of the repair men stating that due to COVID I would have to pay an additional charge outside of what my insurance was paying. He lied and stated that he informed my husband of this charge and that my husband agreed and he just needed my approval. I told him I would need to speak to my husband first. My husband came home and I asked him if he had agreed to this additional charge and my husband had no idea what I was talking about. This company is dishonest. I would not trust them to work on your car. They do not have this additional charge listed on there website nor did they make any conversation about this charge prior to me dropping off my vehicle or at the time of drop off. My husband called 5 other body shops to see if they were adding additional charges due to COVID and none of them are doing the same practices as this shop! SHAME ON YOU HANSON AUTO REBUILD!! YOU TRIED TO SCAM ME!! I will never recommend your services. read more
