Please, for the love of God, do not waste your time or your hard earned money on this joke of a "business". This company is a SCAM!!! I honestly cannot believe that I spent over $1200 on this course and supplies (keep in mind just the basic course), had to arrange for a model to travel with me and had to work around their schedule and my work schedule to make it work. Also, already booked the hotel. I had several reg flags pop up, but unfortunately I didn't go with my gut on this one. I was just so excited to finally get certified and be more confident in my work, and I cannot tell you how much I regret not listening to my intuition. The first red flag was when I purchased the class, you are REQUIRED to purchase one of their overpriced kits or you DO NOT get certified, the kit I purchased wasn't added on to my total. So they called and emailed me several times about this issue and wanted payment for the kit, fine, I get it. Maybe the website had a glitch. But the Sales department head Jonathan Dana, told me because of the inconvenience and that I had to give a complete stranger my card information over the phone so the kit would be purchased, he said I would receive a discount. No discount for the kit was ever applied. Second reg flag, after purchasing everything I took a look of their email they sent to me of their introduction to the class, what to expect, etc. Even included a YouTube video of their application process...that was very out dated and poorly done. All of their other videos about "Lavish Lashes" were people on different news outlets talking about eyelash extensions. Not lavish lashes, but just extensions in general and the a few other random videos of different women wearing lashes. Barely any comments. Every video was from years ago. I tried to find reviews and honestly I had to dig to find any HONEST reviews about the company. I'm assuming they work hard to scrub that off the internet because they scam people so much. I also read that they will do a FREE set of lashes on someone in exchange for a positive review on their site. Third red flag was when I got an email literally THREE DAYS before my class saying that unfortunately because of "scheduling conflicts" they were not offering the class in the original location I had paid for. That they had to reschedule me to a different location that was 6 hours away, and on a day I have to work. Completely last minute, I mean couldn't they have told me that almost two weeks ago when I purchased the damn thing? Sorry, can't do that. I work during the week and was planning on taking the basic certification course on the weekend in the Charlotte location that is only three hours from me. After speaking with Jonathan again after it took me HOURS to get a hold of him (I literally had to just call him over and over until he finally answered) just to tell me that I had to speak to my TRAINER about a full refund? How does that make any sense? So, the head of sales department can process a payment but cannot refund one? Odd. read more
