She diligently worked on it for 90 minutes the for the first fill, and my lashes lasted a little over 14 days! I just came back from my 2nd lash fill with her and it only took an hour and it was at a reduced price. She is patient, delightful, and very professional. She definitely knows a lot about the shapes of the eyes and what kind of lashes will look better. I am anxiously awaiting my third refill with Stephanie next week!

I agreedeven though the change was initiated by the business. Then the day before my rescheduled appointment, they messaged saying my brow artist had a family emergency and that I would be seeing a different artist instead. I didn't see the message until the following morning and therefore never confirmed the change. At that point my appointment had already been changed once because the salon was closing on the original date and now the artist was changing again. Rather than proceed with an appointment that had changed multiple times due to circumstances outside of my control, I decided to cancel. I understand the salon's response will likely be that my appointment date and time remained the same, that they notified me of the artist change and that I canceled within their same day cancellation window. They also explained that their policy allows for a 100% same day cancellation fee and that they only charged me 50% as a courtesy. I don't dispute that they have a cancellation policy. My issue is with how it was applied in this situation. This wasn't a typical last minute cancellation where everything remained as originally booked. The business had already rescheduled my appointment once because they were closing and then changed my artist less than 24 hours before the appointment. I never confirmed that I was comfortable with that change before being charged. Emergencies happen and I don't fault my original brow artist for having a family emergency. My disappointment is with the decision to enforce a cancellation fee despite the multiple changes initiated by the business. In my opinion greater flexibility would have been the fairer approach. I disputed the charge with my bank and chose not to rebook. While I can't speak to the quality of their brow services, I can only review my own experience as a customer and unfortunately it left me disappointed with how the situation was handled.

I explained that I use to get them threaded in CA and she mentioned there were a few places in South Tampa I could try. With her recommendation and my yelp research, I decided to go with Lash Spa. I always make appointments for anything dealing with hair, face, nails, etc. but seeing that Lash Spa was only 3-5 minutes from my house, I just decided to stop by and walk in on my way from Essentials. Walked in...no problem. Aida took such great care of me! She not only threaded my eyebrows but informed me of the option to tint my eyebrows. She says it will last 2 weeks. I had never had this done before so I went for it. I wish I had a before and after (but I have the after) because my eyebrows were a HOT mess. As you can see from the photo, they look great now. Excuse my no make up and slight bags under my eyes as I'm not getting much sleep during my last trimester. I'm happy that I have a new threading spot that's close to home. I will for sure be back. Aida also informed me she does eyelash extensions and considering how short and curly mine are, I think I will give it a try. I went to Hien for an eyebrow wax/tint and she recommended an eyebrow lamination as well. Unsure of what it was, Hien thoroughly explained the process and the expected outcome. I had my eyebrows tinted and then moved on to my eyelashes. Both looked amazing. I also received a follow up call/voicemail from Shannon to ask how my appt was. Every single visit, within a week the lashes fall off and I look ridiculous. Often times, the lashes don't even make it home after having them put on before they start to fall all over my face like needles on a Charlie Brown Christmas tree. Of course, they would love to sell me their mascara solution that is supposed to glue them on and keep them into place... But why aren't they gluing them on to begin with? I've been to other people and I know that it's not me. Other folks that put Eyelashes on seem to be able to adhere them in such a way that they stay on for so long that my eyelashes grow out and I have to have them removed because they're too long. I think that this is finally going to be the month that I canceled my subscription because this is absolutely ridiculous and I'm wasting my money. It doesn't matter which tech I see or whether I go to their "master lash artist "and pay the additional fee. I think it's simply their product products suck and are most likely made in such a way that the Eyelashes purposely fall off so you keep going back to have them put back on. Remember, every visit you feel compelled to leave a $15 tip for the tech, so if you have to go back every week because your eyelashes fell off that's $15 to the tech on every single visit in addition to what you're paying for your subscription. I've had it and I'm done. The pictures attached are two days after having the lashes put on and as you can see, I look like I have mange.
