The service here is pretty wonderful and definitely blew me away…read more My mother and I just happened upon this store during a wonderful sale! They had so many mark downs on their fall and winter apparel. I was slightly overwhelmed. It is definitely a boutique style type of place. I would liken it to a Francesca's but better. They have a pretty large space with many dressing rooms. We purchased a sweater dress, a black long sleeve cut out dress, two lined leggings, a shawl type of sweater, and a suede jacket all for $64. But this isn't even the best part, they shipped it to my home in PA free of charge. They have a deal where if your purchase is over $50 worth of merchandise they will ship it to your home. Normally during sales they do not offer this deal, but since we had to fly home they let us use it. I was just very impressed with how understanding they were about us travelling home. I received my package within 4 days of stepping into the store which was great considering they are a single shop. Everything was packaged very neatly in wrapping paper in the box. If I lived in Athens I would shop here regularly, I might have to check out their online storefront.

Store is crammed full of fanciful and useful kitchen, service, table/drink ware and hosting items…read moreand gifts. But let me tell you about the food and coffee. My husband and I arrived at our Airbnb ill prepared for the morning. Our kitchen was equipped with a Keurig and some K- cups. We are such that we will decline K-cups and forge on to find good coffee. Off to a rough start in Normal Town Athens we happened to walk past Athens Cooks with cafe tables filled with good looking food and happy patrons on the outside and the smell of coffee inside--Rich smelling coffee. My husband had a double espresso which was pulled perfectly and I had a beautiful cortado served in a delightful, little glass. The was perfect and well worth the wait as it was now basically lunch time. We shared a fabulous pastrami sandwich with pickled beets, Gouda, and arugula and a cup of the freshest, crispest, most flavorful watermelon gazpacho I have ever had. I think I might be ruined. The staff were friendly and helpful. On the inside is a very large shared dining table which seems to be a fun place to gather. The menu is inventive for lunch and the food is well prepared. I will return when back in Athens and highly recommend.

I will never buy anything from this cafe again (they claim to be a kitchen store but seem to have…read moreabandoned that purpose long ago). I went in to buy an electric kettle. The one I was seeking was too heavy for me, but I wanted to buy local so I chose a different, more expensive one. The only color they had in store was baby blue, so I agreed to buy a red one from their warehouse, paying upfront. When I picked it up the salesperson (same one who sold it to me), handed me a shopping bag and sent me on my way. I trusted them and didn't look in the bag. Thirty minutes later, a $267 tea kettle is rattling around my trunk. No box, no paperwork, nothing. The salesperson handed me the bag without saying anything!! Any reputable business would let you know the situation, perhaps offer a discount, and give you a choice about whether you still wanted the item. I returned the item and will never be back again. When this business goes down, they will only have their own questionable business practices and poor customer service to blame. (btw, their breakfasts are super oily and disgusting)
