We just had such a great shopping experience there. I needed to find clothes for my 14 year old girls. They are in small women sizes but I I not want too mature looks. The selection was very diverse and wonderful. We found some great pieces. We even all bought matching lounge wear. But the staff was wonderful and the managers opinion was awesome. She was like a personal stylist who was educated and beautiful. Nice role model for my teens. Yes it's not cheap but we will really enjoy everything over and over. read more

The line of clothing is okay. Limited, but okay. I am not sure who their target audience is. It isn't the college aged kids, nor is it for the older ladies. But the service/attitude here breaks records in every negative category. I'm retired, and am financially comfortable -well, okay, I could probably buy the store, but I didn't know I needed to come in dressed for the part. The sales folks were abysmal. Not a fun place for ladies of any age. Please note another woman came in behind me - not at all obese, but she was probably about a size 14 or 16. The sales people looked at her like a side of beef, and finally recommended discretely to try "Heery's 2" across town, because they might carry "her sizes." Clothes are nice but above all else, the service is legitimately terrible. Not sure why they're in a college town if they don't treat students with the same respect as older clientele. The workers act like they're the shoppers. To be fair, they can afford the clothes once they receive employee discounts. Hope for a different experience every time and it never happens. FAR AND AWAY the best boutique in Athens, or Atlanta for that matter. Best selection, best mix, best service. From high-end designers (Missoni, TB, DVF, Marc Jacobs, etc.) to cheap-but-cute college tops. Mother/Daughter shopping at its best! Heery's is better than any boutique I've found in Los Angeles, where I live part time. Plus, there's a great alterations lady to make it fit perfectly. There is nothing else comparable in Athens, except for its sister store, Four Seasons, which is aimed at a more mature clientele. Both are top drawer! read more

I've been shopping at Heery's for years, and I don't plan to quit anytime soon. The salesladies (especially the older ones) are really friendly and helpful, and they make an effort to remember people who come in a lot. Bring your platinum card--this place isn't cheap, with designers like Tory Burch, Marc Jacobs, and Tibi. However, it's definitely worth it in my opinion because I always get tons of compliments on items I've bought there, and I like supporting them because they've been around forever! Most of their selection is tailored for college-age and young women ('cause Athens is a college town, duh), but they do have a section where they have things more suitable for middle-aged/older women, too. You can also shop online now, which is great if you're like me and don't live in Athens anymore but still need to get your Heery's fix! read more

I' ve been into Heery's a few times to buy shoes and accessories. Today I went in and not one saleslady spoke to me! They looked at me and looked away. I know their clothes run very small so I wasn't looking at them. Two ladies came in after me and they were waited on and treated like queens! I travel the world. I buy from Gucci to little shops like Heery's. Their loss today......my card could have bought the store but I will not be back and tell my friends how I was ignored. You will be skipped on Saturday's from all 100 or so of us! All you had to do was be friendly! read more

I bought a very expensive coat there a week ago. The manufacturer has it 20% off. I called the store to see if I could get a credit. I was told that not only could I not get a credit, I also can't return it. Horrible customer service doing nothing to build brand loyalty. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING HERE. read more

I've never been this disappointed with customer service ever. I was simply just trying to get some last minute holiday shopping done when the staff was following me around the store like I was going to steal something. I felt I wasn't welcome, discriminated against due to my ethnicity and more so rushed than any other customer. I recommend not to take your business here. read more

I visited Heery's for the first time last Friday, April 3, 2015. My son is a student at UGA and he was showing me around town. We both went in the store and NOT ONE salesperson greeted us. I guess we didn't look like we could afford their overpriced clothes. I will never step foot in that unfriendly store again!. read more

Am I living in reality here? I've browsed this store a couple of times over the years and have to just get a kick out of the craziness of these ladies desperate to stay.........wait for it.........on trend, and would pay 295.00 for the same flippin shoes I just saw listed on Gilt.com AND Ruelala (another fabulous site) for 1/4 of that. Why would you? That is the prime reason Boutique after Boutique winds up closing their doors in this day because there are just so many other options! Nothing provides more comic relief than the actual full retail labels. Where I've noticed many boutiques lack, is sticking a bunch of non chalant college girls in there to man the shop who come across as they themselves are the owner behind it, when in reality the owner is off relaxing somewhere while they're pushing 10.00 an hour complete with unwarranted arrogance. Seen it over and over. It's so silly. You gals look ridiculous! Yeah I read some of the other reviews, they're not quite favorable either. Looks as though the owner or store (it is just a store correct)? Manager needs to revamp and retrain. When you become complacent and do the assuming of who and who can't afford such overpriced nonsense, you've suddenly become "that place" that turns so many off. I'm just turned off from the prices themselves. There are just so many ways now to avoid being caught in that full price designer trap you're only a fool if you don't partake in such! I liken it to say this skincare line you see on Gilt. It's Diamond something (can't remember exact name). So for years it sold for 1100.00 for a .2 ounce jar. They sold millions. Women were sucked in. Now this same crap is on Gilt slashed to 79.00 for the same product. Following me here? So can you just imagine being one of those fools that paid such an astronomical price a few years ago? Everything goes on sale eventually whether online or sitting on a rack @ Suska. Save your $$ ladies! You never know if another recession is coming! Paying to keep the door open on a place to just to try and look the part just seems so uncool these days. What is happening?
