The person serving us asked if we wanted to buy a bottle, and we said yes, but then he would pour us tiny portions and take the bottle away. He then asked if we wanted to try something else after the first pour. This further confused us since we thought we bought the bottle. But we the assumed we must not have if we was asking if we wanted to try something else. So he brought out an another bottle and did the same thing. Small pour and walked away with the bottle. We were late for another tasting so asked to check out. We noticed we were charged for the two full bottles but we never finished them. Then got a text later from the winery saying they forgot to send us home with the rest of the wine we had purchased. So turns out we had bought the two bottles but were never served the whole bottles. We said we were flying home and unable to get them and asked for a partial refund. They refused. Safe to say this one of the most bizarre experiences we've had at a winery. The customer service was lackluster. I saw other reviews about them being pretentious and I would have to agree. We will never return to this winery, will no longer purchase their wine in stores, and will actively advise friends to do the same.

The pictures are pretty deceiving as this isn't the typical distillery we were used to. The room/building you walk into is small and looks like a storefront you sell knick-knacks from. There are chairs and tables on the outside on a deck portion, but my partner and dad never made it out there. As soon as we walked in, it smelled heavily of weed and it was very obvious the gal helping us was high. We could tell by her eyes and she honestly just kept yapping and would not answer any questions my partner or dad had about the alcohol itself. While my mom and I sat outside not interested in tasting, we got annoyed of the music they had playing. It wasn't the music choice, it was the fact that the smaller bluetooth speaker it was playing off of was either dying or disconnecting constantly. And it was being played at an absurdly loud volume. The birdhouses in particular were absolutely lovely and added so much charm to the space. The tasting room takes walk-ins, and were greeted as soon as we entered and told we could sit anywhere. Our sommelier was absolutely delightful-- there were two women working and both were so, so friendly and made us feel very welcome. We tasted one white (a Chardonnay that I actually quite liked despite it being my least favorite white wine) and a number of reds. When they poured the various pinot noirs, they brought a second glass and had us do a side-by-side comparison. I absolutely LOVE it when tasting rooms make the effort to do this-- it really brings us the differences in the wines so you can tell what you're trying. We also tasted a red blend and a syrah. The syrah was my favorite. In the midst of us tasting the reds, the women pouring for us brought out a couple of chocolate hearts, which was really the cherry (or the chocolate) on top. It's been hard in the past couple of years to find people that offer such a wonderful experience at this price point ($20)-- especially if you're a younger person. I can truly say that this was wonderful, and we will absolutely return next time we are in the Valley.
