Since then, I had a birthstone ring custom made that is exquisite and a show stopper. My wedding ring from my previous marriage is being modified with a sapphire in the middle and diamonds. My former husband previously passed and I'm having his wedding band set with sapphires (his birthstone) and diamonds so my daughter can wear it, on a chain, as a necklace in his memory. It seems there is nothing Kirk's can't do! Ted and Derek are extremely creative and talented jewelers. Chris, Beth, Julia, Kemi and Maricela are great and knowledgeable. If you want one of a kind pieces that are vintage, visit Era (Kirk's sister store) on Main Street near the Little Red Hen. There are pieces from Kirk's private collection on display. A lovely older lady came in with a ring that she wanted authenticated for a buyer she'd lined up. He agreed that the diamond was real and approximate price range. When her customer arrived to hear if the diamond was real instead of doing what he'd AGREED TO DO - Nathan took the man and started degrading the ring, the setting, saying that this would make his girlfriend angry because she wouldn't like the sharp corners. What?!He was asked to authenticate the diamond ring. Instead, he threw the older woman under the bus and tried to make the sale himself, damaging her product, wasting her time and leaving me never wanting to shop there again.
