Attentive, personalized service and great product! A friend in DC sent me a "Welcome" plant and flower arrangement to my new home in Seattle. "Julie" ("Judy"?) at LaVassar called and left a message to let me know that the arrangement had been left on my doorstep--good thing, since it turned very cold that evening. Had I not received the message, I would have come home much later from work and probably found my arrangement frost-bitten. The sending florist in DC didn't capture the last name of the giver for some reason, so I was left puzzling over which "Anne" had sent me flowers. I called LaVassar and they promptly called the florist in DC and retrieved the last name of the giver so that I knew who to thank. Really appreciate them going the extra mile on customer service. The flowering plant arrangement still looks great several weeks later. I like how each plant was in its own separate plastic liner within the decorative basket, to make watering more precise. read more

I'm from out of state and called to have flowers delivered to a friend in the area. They called her when they were delivering them but since she is in an apartment complex they couldn't get in. They offered to come back later cut she said she could pick them up at the store. She said they were beautiful and lasted awhile. I would use them again! read more

I'm in Alaska, and got the arrangement titled Sweet Nothings from their website for a friend in the hospital at University of Washington Medical Center. I just got the basic arrangement (no extras) and it turned out just gorgeous. My friend loved it! The thing coming out of the top of it is a string from the balloon add on that I got for an extra $5...a big pink Mylar heart shaped balloon. Also, after I paid for the arrangement, my friend went in and out of the hospital several times so they were happy to put the order on hold until she was in a stable location. LaVassar did the flowers for my very small wedding and I can't say enough good things about them. They worked within my budget, giving me suggestions for ways to make arrangements a bit more affordable. When the flowers were ready for pick-up the day before the wedding, I couldn't imagine what the more expensive versions of the arrangements looked like--because our flowers were absolutely stunning. All of the people with whom I interacted were responsive and friendly. Juliet was the consultant who primarily helped me throughout the process, and she had great suggestions and ideas based on my slightly vague vision for wedding flowers. :) She was fabulous to work with...and she was even there to congratulate me again and help me load my car the morning when I picked everything up. Toward the end of a daylong meeting, I wanted to thank a couple of people for their contributions. It was my first time in Seattle, so I went on Yelp to find a nearby florist who I hoped could deliver a couple of beautiful bouquets with less than an hour's notice. LaVassar came through! I left the design completely up to Judy and they were lovely--bright colors, wrapped with a gossamer ribbon--and arrived in about half an hour. I couldn't believe they were able to pull it off! I live in Santa Fe, NM. My sister's last day before retiring was yesterday. I checked out florists in Seattle to send her a bouquet at work. LaVassar has the best website for ordering online. Excellent photos and very user-friendly navigation from browsing to checkout. My sister was blown away (as was I when she sent me a pic of her with the bouquet) by the magnificent delivery she received. I had requested the they be delivered before noon, if possible, and they were. I think the pricing is very reasonable and the delivery was only $10.00. I was looking for a reasonably priced wedding flowers and came across LaVassar on yelp. I wasn't sure if I should contact them because not many people reviewed them for weddings. But I'm so glad I did! We just had our wedding this past weekend and I was so happy with all the flowers we ordered from them. I basically just told them what I wanted for my bouquet and everything else and it turned out better than what I expected!! All the flowers stayed fresh all day and night.
