Lavannie Nails - Pedicure and manicure done with Caty. The best of the best place and Caty is the one - Nail Salons Near Me - Woodbridge, Virginia

I love my Manis/pedis here! It's a nice chill vibe and I take both my girls here and they love it too! They're under new management within the past year and it's been great to have someone in the area who's doing alot of trendy current styles and trying new things. Every time my daughters go elsewhere with their friends they always regret it. My coworkers in DC are always in love with the designs I have and end up trying it after me. read more

Lavannie Nails - Red/Black nail - Nail Salons Near Me - Woodbridge, Virginia

I recently visited this salon with my daughter for gel manicures and pedicures. While the actual nail services themselves were decent, our overall experience was disappointing due to the attitude of the staff. My daughter received a gel nail polish and gel polish a "Champagne and Rose" pedicure (at my request no cutical, hot stone or hot towel for her ) I had a "Sports" pedicure with gel polish. What really stood out in a negative way was the unprofessional behavior of the technicians. From the beginning, there were eye rolls, exaggerated facial expressions, and an overall dismissive attitude toward both my daughter and me. When we were seated. They wanted my daughter so sit in a chair that still filled from a previous pedicure water in it so we stood to the side until it was clean. As she cleaned she splashed me with hose. When I simply asked for a breakdown of the total cost (which came to $175), I was met with visible frustration, more eye-rolling side eyes , and three different people talking over each other, making it difficult to get a straight answer. It's not unreasonable to want to understand what I'm being charged for, and the lack of basic courtesy left us feeling uncomfortable and disrespected at the end I just paid and left. While the nails looked ok the customer service was lacking. I won't be returning, and I wouldn't recommend this salon if you value clear communication and a welcoming atmosphere. read more

I'd been going to a different place for a few years. I wasn't unhappy there but I'd heard good things about Lavannie and decided to try them. The lady that did my nails was so sweet and so thorough! I've been so happy with my nails even a week out! My cuticles can be a problem, but this lady did such an amazing job with them, I will certainly be back!! read more

Not impressed at all with this salon. I visited with fiance and we both left feeling unimpressed to say the least. I purchased the ultimate pedicure ($70 with 20 minutes of massage) and my fiance got the pamper ($50 with 12 minutes of massage). When we sat down, my fiances nail tech attempted to swindle him into the more expensive massage by saying something under her breath to which he declined. They started off the service and we were confused by what we were getting. We weren't sure when the massages started and quite honestly aren't sure we ever got them? It was so weird like they were just lightly caressing our legs the entire time. I was also supposed to get nearly double the massage time which wasn't the case. We were also majorly turned off by how greedy the owner of this salon seemed. Every time a tech started to do another component of the pedicure, the lady would run over with a timer she pulled from the front desk drawer. She set mine up and when I looked at it and she caught my eyes, she adjusted it to add more time which was really strange to me like I'd caught her doing something. We also witnessed mail techs next to us making fun of a guy getting a pedicure near us telling him he needed to get his brows done but it was "just a joke".. There was also an older lady who came into the salon needing to get polish touch up and her tech, and the owner were trying to convince her to do gel instead but the lady insisted on regular. It wasn't until a 3rd tech tried to explain that the regular wouldn't "be good" and that she should really consider paying more for gel which she declined. All in all pretty weird. Gave this two stars because the polish job did turn out nice and the salon was clean but will not be returning. read more

I'm giving it 4 stars because I have used the technician that I usually request for a few years. If it wasn't for her being bubbly and kind I would say 3 stars The remodel is awesome. Clean and modern My issue is that despite having an early morning appointment at opening I have had to wait for 30+ minutes to get started. Like they slide people in before the time you're thinking they open. I understand everyone needs to make their money but I think 3 out of the 4 appointments that I have tried since the remodel/re-Opening have all started 30+ minutes late and one was 15 minutes late with an appointment scheduled. I can overlook the 15 minutes that's not bad but 30+ is not cool. Great work is done here but this is another nail place that has booking issues. I don't recall this happening before the rebranding and remodel of the shop. I will go here when I have nothing but time but I can't continue to go here when I know that I have stuff to do and I'm trying to be on a schedule. Also I think it's new ownership/management. The older lady that walks around like she's the keeper or something gives off a not so friendly vibe sometimes. If it's new owner, then I completely miss the old owner. I will be returning to the nail shop that I found during the remodel; they are more organized and way friendlier than this place read more

Been here several times and it's always a stellar experience. The attention to detail and care to make sure you're happy, is excellent. Best nail salon in this area for me. Give them a try and don't be afraid to be creative with your nails! Try something new. They are also very accommodating to children for pedicures and manicures and always make sure to offer soft drinks or water. I've found all of the employees here to be respectful and really attentive to your needs. Katy was excellent and really listened to what I wanted done by following direction easily and using a photo I showed her as a guide. Can't recommend enough! read more

This place was amazing! The inside is beautiful, the technicians are all very kind, and the quality is top-notch! The salon just opened up, so I would highly recommend everyone go and let all their friends know about there experiences too! For nails, they have full services: natural nails, dip, gel, acrylic, manicures, pedicures, and spa packages; they also offer waxing services! Plus there were more colors than I could feasibly look through! I truly felt like I was at a high quality nail salon, and the prices were more than worth it! read more

Like others, I made an appointment, but when I arrived, I had to wait about 30 minutes until a nail tech arrived. When I was finally taken to the back, the woman from the front desk tried seating me in the pedicure chair; I told her I only wanted a manicure. So, she seated me at a manicure station, and again I waited. When my manicurist arrived, she didn't speak to me...she had an air pod in her ear and was having a conversation in another language..with the nail tech behind her (rude) Since she didn't talk to me, she just filed my squared nails into ovals...ovals cause my nails to break, so I wanted to keep them squared. When she was done with me, she sat me in a chair near the front, and then just walked away...I had to figure out on my own that the table in front of me was a nail dryer. Manicurist never came back; I ended up going to the counter when I felt my nails were dry, paying and then leaving. I'll be looking for somewhere else to get my manicures and pedicures done! read more

Got there. They set me up in pedicure chair. The arm fell off. Sat there for over 20 minutes water was cold. Nobody asked if they could get me something or when they would have someone with me. Finally asked for a towel and left. Worst service. read more

"So I went to Lavannie nails today to get my nails done. I asked for French tip nails. I also asked them if they can make them a decent length, but they did not do what I asked for. And to make matters worse, they tried charging me $75 for something that was only $47. They also drilled my skin and made my finger bleed." read more

I need to speak to the owner, please. I am so upset the way you did the dip on all my nails last Sunday. I walked in yesterday (Friday) to fix all my nails, and the lady kept drilling around my cuticles, instead of repairing my cuticles. As a result, all my cuticles are bleeding, and extremely painful! I need to talk to the owner! Please contact me as soon as possible! read more

I just called the salon today and lady in hard to understand English answered. I was just asking her if this is the replacement of the used to be "Nail Design" and she responded: "no new owner" and she drop the phone on me when I was about ask her if I can make an appointment and the price of pedicure! Very rude !!! I hope this is not happening again! The owner of this salon should train their associates how to be nice and polite to Customers even if it'll be just a pretend - not their normal character!!!! I rest my case! read more

I don't usually do bad reviews.. but this was bad. I went in to have my acrylic nails taken off and just wanted gel on my nails. As soon as I sat down, she immediately started trying to rip/peel my acrylics off herself. She used her own nails and a fake nail to try and pry them off. It was extremely painful and she was tearing my actual nails off. I expressed that it was painful the entire time, but she continued. I had enough and asked for her to just shape what she did to my nails and not to finish the appointment. My nails are now raw in a lot of places and honestly I could have just, "ripped them off," myself and it would have been less painful. Do not recommend this establishment, as a manager walked over and saw what her employee was doing and allowed her to continue. read more

First time at this establishment and I truly enjoyed my first visit. Everyone in the salon is very friendly. I diffidently will go back.

The service was awful and rushed once again. Black women please stay away from this salon. the first time I thought maybe it was an inexperienced nail technician but after 2 more visits i realized that women of color are whisked in and out. I paid for a spa pedicure that took all of 15 minutes compared to the other women who received better service and quality time . read more
