The morning shift cleaning lady is always kind, helpful, and happy to answer any questions. Unfortunately, my experience with the older woman who works in the afternoon/evening has been the complete opposite. She is often rude, gossips with customers about other people in the laundromat, and appears to reserve the free dryers for customers she prefers by placing a single microfiber towel inside them to keep them occupied. It's frustrating and unprofessional.
She's also frequently away from the laundromat because she lives across the street, making it difficult to get assistance when needed. Management should supervise this location more closely to ensure employees are providing fair and consistent customer service.
Other than that, the free dryers are a great perk, but they're only available if you wash your clothes here. I've personally seen the staff tell customers who didn't wash at this laundromat that they couldn't use the free dryers and instead had to use the paid dryers on the opposite side, which is understandable.
The biggest issue is that the free dryers are often occupied by customers who add excessive amounts of drying time and then leave, preventing others from using them. The staff should do a better job of monitoring the dryers and enforcing reasonable time limits so everyone has a fair opportunity to use this benefit. read more
