The patio and retaining wall look great. The project took longer than expected, but those delays were all on our side. We took longer than we should have to make various decisions about light fixtures, etc. We also changed the scope of the project a few times, adding more areas of walkways that we decided needed to be refinished with the stamped concrete. We would recommend KBR for any project that you might have. Karen was great to work with and even when we were not following through with things on our end, she never lost her cool with us and was very patient waiting for us to come to decisions on things. He never provided us with an official contract, which should have been a red flag from the start. He initially claimed the project would take three months, but it ended up taking a year to complete. During that time, he only worked a couple of days a week, and even on those days, the work rarely exceeded six hours, sometimes less. Communication was horrible. Whenever we had questions or concerns, he would get back to us, but often with vague or delayed responses. Toward the end of the project, he started claiming that things we had previously agreed upon were never in the plan, which ultimately cost us an extra $6,000--despite us not agreeing to the additional $10,000 he demanded. There are still unfinished items, but we decided to settle just to get rid of him and move on. His work quality is actually quite nice, but don't expect good communication or timely completion. Overall, unprofessional, unreliable, and costly.

Absolute disaster…read more Terrible communication from start to finish. No initial walkaround to establish expectations. No final check out before leaving the job site. Contractor canceled the majority of the work due to lack of 'acceptable' supplies, without my knowledge or consent. The contract should not have been proposed if work could not be completed as promised. Major work was left unfinished (installation of smart thermostat) but still charged for the work on the final bill. Repairs promised as not-noticeable upon completion look absolutely terrible (see photos). My son and I had to help install/mount my 77" TV because only one contractor showed up for the entire $2500 job over the course of four days. This project seemed to be a complete afterthought for Girls 'N Tools. Would not recommend (even for small jobs/maintenance) under any circumstances, whatsoever.
