Queer friendly little bar that I've made my go to spot while visiting from chicago. Spent new years here and had an absolute blast with the gf. Good ramen, sake and whisky menu. Just a cool interesting experience that wouldn't be out of place in Chi.

Korean bbq boa bun crispy and soft and wonton nachos were so good!

Freaking awesome food! Never been any were like it before service was fast and the place seems to be a half bar half sit down area very nice!!

Delicious food, unique drinks, and great entertainment. It's a must if you're ever in downtown Florence.

This was my first time here & the restaurant was very neat and clean. I got there an hour after they opened and there was no wait. I ordered the pork Tonkatsu ramen and the Korean bbq bao buns. The food was great but I didn't like how nobody comes to check on you and make sure everything's good or that you don't need anything. Other than that I have no complaints.

Good food and very creative drinks, definitely more of a ramen bar than a traditional sit-down restaurant. Pro tip: if you sit at the bar, you don't have to place your food order at the window.

Though the building itself is not large- the tour packs lots of history and personal stories about the music and musicians that recorded there. Our tour lasted about 45 minutes and our guide was passionate about the studio, music and its famed (pun intended) history. It's hard to leave the tour without being a little in awe of the performers that recorded there. I mean muscle shoals has got the swampers!

About ten years ago a friend said to me, "you must watch this movie 'Muscle Shoals.'" I'm like, ok,…read moresure. Fast forward to last week when I found it streaming and we watched it just before heading off on our Alabama roadtrip. Thank goodness we did as it offered a perspective on Muscle Shoals we wouldn't have realized. We came here to golf, but we were not about to miss the chance to visit this amazing piece of music history. We chose the full tour for twice as much money, and from our perspective it was well worth it. We got a 1.5 hour long visit, including Rick Hall's office and a few other upstairs areas packed with memorabilia, plus the regular tour which only includes Recording Studios A and B. (Also totally worth it if that's all you can do.) Our tour guide, Will, was so knowledgeable and personable and patiently answered question after question, never rushing us at any time. The incredible music that has been created and recorded in this building by so many talented musicians over so many decades is staggering. Plus it has consistently been in use as a recording studio and publishing house since that time, which directly links it all the way back. I find this mind blowing! Definitely watch the movie prior to visiting here if you can, it will enhance this tour. Highly recommend!

This is the second restaurant of this kind to open this month. They are almost identical, from the…read moremenus to the interior decor and even the friendliest of waitstaff. Based on what items my husband and I eat at these two restaurants the value is a little better here. Our choices costs $1.00 less and they come with soup and salad, whereas Yamato just offers the entree with no extras. http://www.yelp.com/biz/yamato-steak-house-of-japan-corinth One deciding factor as to which restaurant will be the most popular, in our opinion, will be their ability to maintain high quality. Of course, Tokyo will see a higher volume of traffic due to their location in a shopping center near the Walmart Supercenter and movie theater, but to me success means repeat customers. If the quality isn't there I do not go back at all, or I take a break from the place for a few months and let them have a chance to regroup. The main differences between these two, practically mirror image restaurants, are the number of dishes offered and the taste of the onion soup and the miso soup. Yamato only offers the two soups, whereas Tokyo offers seven flavors. The soup base at Yamato is the same so it doesn't matter which soup you order...both tastes the same. Beef lovers, such as my husband, will have much more to choose from here at Tokyo, with upward of 30 variations to pick from. You can eat here everyday for 2 1/2 weeks and have nothing but tempura options, with at least 14 of them being shrimp. The New China Buffet has been the place to go for sushi and stir-fry foods for the past decade, but with this new blood and competition they are adding a hibachi buffet area to their restaurant and it will be functioning within a week (end of Dec and there aren't any details yet as far as price and availability). http://www.yelp.com/biz/new-china-buffet-corinth The hibachi salmon entree was my first choice for the grand opening visit to Tokyo and was not disappointed in the least. It is served with fried rice, vegetables, soup and a salad. My husband chose to try the NY Strip hibachi entree served with the same options. I don't know what their secret is to obtaining such tender steak but it is better than most steak houses and definitely better than almost any steak sold in this town. Let's see if it is just as good tomorrow.

The total came out to nearly $60.00 and this is what we got.. the special rolls only have 8 per order same as the classic but double the price.
