    *** Update...Not too long ago we hosted one of our teen cohorts in Charlotte and I was informed…read morethat we had an order to pick up at the Cotswold Publix near Strawberry Hill. I went in with a bit of anxiety because it seemed we simply couldn't get on the same page as the deli and catering staff. I go in, it's busy, there was no one in the pick up area. My anxiety now beginning to grow I stopped a young gentleman, I hate that I didn't get his name (I'll be sure to add it in my next update) but he asked what I was looking for I told him, and it seemed like clock work, another woman showed up and they both locked in. He shared my info with her and they took off in two different directions. Within minutes they simultaneously appeared holding five of the six dishes that were ordered. I was so taken aback at the swift action those two took I didn't notice there was one missing. The young woman counted my containers and was like, Hang On I think there's a cake in this order. She asked a woman in the bakery to check and sure enough a cake appeared for my order. Here's what I appreciate: Concern, assurance, call to action, teamwork, resolve, double checking before I leave...It was an amazing experience. The last two women made sure Inhad everything I needed. Here's what I didn't appreciate, Confusion, blame (each other), attitude, resentment, "Not my problem" I told the trainers that day that they must have remembered me from my review and didn't want me to repost another bad review...and In my mind for a brief moment I pondered, "Maybe they were expecting me, or maybe the words service and teamwork found each other wandering through the cookie aisle and decided that being in service is a gift...What will the customer think when we "GIVE" it...

    I was preparing for a holiday celebration with my co-workers. I heard so many good things about…read morePublix chicken tenders and chicken. I placed an order via phone. Unfortunately, I went to pick up my order and it was not ready once I arrived. I was not happy, but I did wait. Once I received my order , I paid and went on my merrily way. When I got to my event with tender platter , my co-workers took a bite of tenders which were cold as ice. I was so embarrassed about the presentation of platter. This is not acceptable. Also, I tried to talk with the Deli manager, Eric , but he seems to be on defense side and couldn't locate my order in the system so I decided to give them a review of food and services which was not a positive experience at all. I love when businesses, especially food trucks have details like that. I ordered the seaside macchiato on their June specialty drink menu. I told the lady working that I prefer my drinks sweet so she suggested that I add more sweetener. They worked at a great pace with the line that they had. The wait wasn't too long. Maybe 5-7 minutes. My name was called and I stepped up for my drink. It was so pretty! I took a sip and immediately realized that it was not sweet enough to my liking. I stirred and received the same outcome. I went back to the window and asked for more sweetener. The guy working was apologetic and took my drink back with no complaint. Unfortunately, as he attempted to place my cup on the counter, the cup fell. He apologized again and remade it. He didn't cuss, fuss, or seem angry, he just remade the drink. That really made an impact because I would've expected a bit of frustration and there wasn't any. He remade my drink and explained that how I wanted it made, he had to add one less espresso shot. I thanked him for his patience and remaking my drink. They have great customer service! I give this company two thumbs up.
