We lived in Ventura Point for 7 months from April 2021 until January 2022. We lived on the top floor. I'll list a few pros and cons: Pros: -When making various maintenance requests, they were addressed reasonably and promptly. -Move-in and move-out were pretty smooth. We received our deposit back without issues and had a nice thank you note. -The staff was nice during our interactions. -The tall ceilings, impact windows, and general quality and condition of the apartment were above average (IMO). -If you have a bug issue, they have a service that comes once a week. -The amenities look nice although I did not use them. I see others use them so they are available. -A lot of parking is available. It may not be near the elevator or apartment but there's a lot available on university dr side. -Air filters are available, just ask the office staff Cons: -Common areas get dirty really quickly. This is more of issue with residents that can be difficult to control. The elevator floors would be sticky or have stains. Be careful during weekends and holidays. -No one will answer the phone. This wasn't an issue when we first came but the employee who we first made contact with had left. So...My husband would literally physically make trips to the office in order to speak to someone. He worked from home so he had this luxury. Many people do not. -The security gate has constant issues. There are times when it breaks down for various reasons. But it does get fixed. It's just unfortunate. -When the gate did work and you had visitors or delivery, the buzzing system did not always work. It did initially but at the end of our lease it stopped. Unsure if this was resolved. -The walls and hallway door is pretty thin. you can hear people talking outside. -Wish the laundry was full-size instead of the small combo. -You HAVE to pay for the trash valet but it's pretty convenient except for holiday weeks. But you can always go to the trash drop-off area. It's just not a pleasant place to be. We left because at the time the rental prices were going insane and we luckily closed on a house. We would've stayed longer if it wasn't for our 1 neighbor and his loud music. We actually enjoyed our time at Ventura. It's not perfect, but we did not have many issues. And there was no BS about returning the security deposit which was appreciative. If you have issues, I would contact Eric the manager directly over anyone else. She was much more responsive and informative.

I've put in a maintenance request to fix my bedroom door they came and the door ended up in worse condition than it started it. They were supposed to replace my stove when I first moved in here in June 2020 we are now in July 2021. Whenever you call the office phone you barely get an answer from them no matter what time during business hours you call. The walls are extra thin I can hear my neighbors snoring and whenever they're on the phone, I can hear the conversation Word for Word. They lied about soundproofing floors that does not exist anywhere in here and then lie about fixing it. Overall, take your money elsewhere that deserves it ,this place is good for looks and amenities but that's it!!

Dariel has been available to answer all my questions and walk me through anything that is needed or addressed. Great ful to have him available. Maintenance staff and cleaning staff are absolutely wonderful. Maintenance address my needs same day (which were not anything serious) and cleaning always keeps areas smelling well and areas clean. Highly recommend.

In my case, I had a signed representation agreement with my clients and was actively involved in their search. However, the clients had self-registered directly with the property prior to my broker registration being fully recognized in their system. I was later informed that commission eligibility was denied based on internal broker registration rules, including timing of registration and onsite participation requirements (such as pre-registration prior to tour involvement). This process places strict priority on system-based registration order, which can override outside broker representation if procedural steps are not completed in the required sequence. Agents should ensure broker registration is fully completed and confirmed in advance of any client interaction with this community, as minor internal procedural requirements may inadvertently impact or void commission eligibility.

They showed me their 2/2 units, which are spacious and the layout is simple and clean. They have what is called an open concept, kitchen, dining and living flows into an open space. They do have a nice little pool area. However, the property does not have a gym. It's not terrible, but knowing one is on sight makes things a little easier. Also a pet friendly community, that's a plus! Definitely worth checking out if you're thinking of moving. It's also in a great location, lots of shopping, grocery around the area withne a few min drive only.

Regardless of the fact, the staff at The Manor in Plantation is very friendly and attentive. Blanca Reyes is always available to answer any questions or concerns and made the moving transition as easy as possible. The Manor is well localized- about a block from Publix, a mile from Target, a mile from Westfield Mall, and access to highways is not far away. The apartment itself is immaculate- granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and full size washer and dryers. The grounds are well kept, and the interior is always clean. Overall, I am impressed by the friendliness of the staff, the upkeep of the complex, the apartment, and the amenities for the price.

Seems like I dodged a complete bullet. I didn't see so many negative reviews until I did some further research online. (See picture). I would definitely say be mindful before wasting time or money applying to this location. Unfortunately, they don't disclose the downside to the property. They have great closet space which is always important. Their maintenance crew is always on top of things when you put in a service request and super kind as well. My only issue with this place was the constant fire alarms going off. Sometimes there was no emergency and no need for them to be going off at random times in the day/night. Also, I had a neighbor that was Loud at all type of times, and when I complained nothing was really done because she kept doing it. Aside from that this place is conveniently located near different highways and the sawgrass mills mall.

First, for me it's very close to my job, second it's right around the corner from Amerant Bank Arena, where I often am, and lastly it's still in the city Sunrise and near all my friends. The property caught my attention with the lake side units, and ample space in most units. I also love the layout of the complex, each unit higher than the first floor having an outside step walking up to the main entrance. The property is well maintained and clean. The very large swimming pool and sun deck is surely a sight. It's beautiful and very spacious, and I was told the keep their pools open till 10pm! (Most properties I've visited, even where I live now, closes at sun down.) I was given a tour of 2 different units, one being a loft, which was absolutely beautiful and spaces, and the other was a 1/1, also just as beautiful, but a little on the smaller side than what I'm looking for, square footage wise. The units are pretty well up to date, with some minor dates things, and it did show. The doors for one, on the closets and in the kitchen, they were a bit on the older side, a the bathrooms did also show their age. I definitely would have applied at this property had a loft unit been available for my dates I'm looking to move. I kept checking their website, which was so easy to navigate, for possible new units coming available, but sadly nothing for my time frame was showing. If you are in the process of moving or thinking to move, definitely come check out Atwater.

Also when maintenance concerns are not addressed, I was told that it's the residents responsibility to follow up. Which I have documented (emails) follow up for the last 5 months. While the complex is nice, the customer service is horrible and enough for me to not want to renew. I would love to, but the slowness, lack of transparency is enough for me to move on.
