I signed a lease at Solle Davie but never moved in, never occupied the unit, and never brought any belongings into the apartment. Shortly after signing, 3 days, 72 hours to be exact. I reviewed the community policies more closely and realized the property was not a good fit. I immediately contacted management to cancel before occupying the unit. Despite this, management stated that simply receiving the keys counted as taking possession and insisted on charging a $4,212 lease break fee, even though the apartment was unused and could be immediately re-rented. No flexibility, no alternative resolution, and no acknowledgment of good-faith efforts to avoid violations. This experience felt very one-sided and transactional, with no consideration for the actual circumstances. If you rent here, understand that once paperwork is signed, there appears to be zero room for discussion -- even if you never move in. Proceed with caution.

The management seems very nice and easily accessible to the needs of owners and renters. As with most condo complexes, as long as you follow the general rules, you will have a good living experience. But it's a huge complex. Sadly the older guys Noel and that team is gone. Gary is nice I believe he is the maintenance manager. I would give it an 8 out of 10. Jay at the office is fantastic.
