I've been eagerly anticipating since 3 months into my lease as so to warn people before they get sucked in and deceived by the fancy infrastructures/designs of this building. Simply said, it's a beautiful property for nothing. Between the false promises and lack of care by the entire staff, once you're locked in and they receive your signature, the section 8 tenants they allow who have no regard for the community - most leaving the common areas filthy and nearly uninhabitable. The gun violence/shootings, hallways infested with stenches of weed and insane noise levels especially during sleep hours, you'll be paying mortgage and luxury living prices for a 'bottom of the barrel' experience. Run as fast as you can. And don't fall for the 5 star reviews, they got me with those and the extra phony, first impressions by management too. Speak to the people who have actually been living there for months to a year and you'll find out the truth.
This is by far the worst living community I have ever had the curse of residing in. If I could leave zero stars I would. Let's start with management. Majority of the employees live there as in incentive in their package, so they literally do the bare minimum work in order to take advantage of incredibly discounted rent rates as compared to what the actual tenants pay.
I moved as a single young woman from Los Angeles to South Florida and specifically scheduled a flight before my move just to ensure this place was what they claimed on their site. I'd reserved and completed an in-person tour with one of the leasing consultants, Robert Ferreri, who sold me on the notion that I'd be able to utilize these, gorgeous for nothing, amenities to meet with my clients, on the very rare chance they don't request me travel to them and every now and then use it to conduct a consultation with my bridal clients, which is my literal livelihood. The plan was to use the space for a short period until I was able to find a fitting and more efficient work space, which Robert and manager, Dean Adams were aware of before me signing a 1 year term lease. They had not too long before opened this location and many of the tenants talking amongst ourselves, soon unfortunately realized that we had all been sold different false promises to meet their goal of 100% capacity within their first year. After seeing me use the the lounge 3 times in 3 months of living there, I received a surprise verbal notice that I can no longer use the space for purpose intended, because it had to be "approved by corporate". Complete rubbish! When I inquired on speaking with someone higher up to further discuss how we could come to a compromise, I was redirect to an in-person meeting with Dean Adams of whom left me with the option, and I quote, "we can arrange for you to terminate your lease without penalty since it was our error of miscommunication and for the inconvenience we've costed you". Me thinking, do you think it's that simple? I've based my entire move across country based on the information provided by your employees and this is your response of resolve? It still affected me because now I'd have to pay for movers again, pay application fees, first and last month', and all the other fees associated with moving, again. It's simply not feasible nor practical, especially after a huge life altering move like the one I made.
I chose to ride out my lease and make it work. But know that it hurt my business and income tremendously. I suffered because of this irrational misinformation by Robert Ferreri and no matter how I expressed it, him, manager Dean and other leasing consultant, Sydney Alexander had the most nonchalant, lack of empathy responses to my case that I'd ever seen. It made my time there absolutely miserable, which is sad because I'm the most positive, uplifting and kind person you'll meet.
The tenants they allow to be approved to live there are a poor representation of they community they advertise. There was a robbery at gunpoint there a few months ago, in which the man was shot and taken to the hospital. Scariest news to hear, especially for people who pay what we paid hoping for safety and security. There's always some shady business occurring in the garage parking lot. Some nights it resembled a gang meet and I'd turn around and find somewhere to go to pass time because I'd have anxiety passing them to get past the gate to enter.
There are also no designated parcels, so your packages are highly likely to get stolen. Especially if they see it's a larger item.
Technology is almost down in the building, whether elevators or the portal that allows you to access the various entrances.
I'm exhausted just thinking about the year I've had there and am truly so grateful to be through with this place and their staff. read more
