I came for x-rays after being referred by my chiropractor. After being x-rayed they were unable to give me the results as their CD burner was down. They told me to return the following morning and they should have them. They did not. I ultimately ended up late for an appointment. One of the reps ended up emailing a video of the x-rays. I will NEVER come here again. read more

The staff is very nice, friendly and helpful. I was able to walk in without an appointment and be seen the same day. They are very efficient and the wait wasn't too bad. I had to make an appointment for a second screening and was able to get in very quickly. I had no idea this place existed and had never heard of them before. I went there for the first time for just a chest x-ray. I was one of two people in the waiting room. It filled up fast and we were all waiting and grumbling. Finally after an hour an a half I was called to the back and told to undress from the from the waist up, not a problem, but no lockers for your clothes or jewelry. The radiologist was the worst. I was in the weird situation of getting a sonogram, but Im a big guy and not a pregnant lady. The tech couldn't handle it, but the doc came in and sorted me out. Next time, get in there and use some muscle on it, you won't hurt me. read more

I never leave reviews for doctor's offices, just too personal for me. But in this case, I want other women who are terrified of mammograms like I was to be put at ease. First off, the staff is amazing, very cheerful and polite. I was so worried that my exam would hurt. I've heard so many bad things about mammograms from various people and to sum it all up they all said it hurt. But to my surprise, it didn't hurt at all. A small amount of pressure but nothing more than a loving hug. My technician was Lyssa (pronounced Lisa) and I would only go back to her. So for me, getting a mammogram is just like getting blood taken, some people know how to do their job, and some don't. Lyssa definitely knows how to do her job! I almost forgot another important factor, they were all ON TIME! I got there 15 minutes before my appointment as instructed to fill out the normal paperwork. They called me back at my allotted time and I was out of the office not even 15 minutes later. I love prompt service which I know that you don't always get at medical offices. My entire appt was a few minutes shy of 30 minutes. Amazing! read more

I had a DEXA scan done in early August. The results were not sent to the ordering physician. I had to call two weeks after the test for them to forward them. The office would not send me the test results and told me I could come in to get them. I have never had this problem with Advanced Radiology. This place is a dump and poorly run. read more

They do not have 3D mammography technology. I was told it's "coming soon". My wait time for a mammogram (with an appointment) was 1 hour and I was not provided an explanation as to why. When I asked when I would be seen, in 5 minutes my name was suddenly called. I think they lost my paperwork and forgot I was there. Also, my detailed results were not sent to my referring physician. I called and found out they had incorrect contact information for my physician, despite me providing the correct information in the sign in forms. I will not return to Laurel Radiology. I should have changed providers last year when they sent me someone else's results. read more

Very convenient, especially the Saturday hours as well as the walk in option! I arrived a little before 8am for X-rays and was out but 9am! The front desk staff were nice and seemed knowledgeable. However, the X-ray technician had an off putting demeanor and lacked professionalism! I would return to the office, if need be. If so, I will make sure I have a different technician performing the X-ray. read more

I had 3rd consecutive negative service at Laurel Radiology. This time I went in and was asked ''What can we do for you today?" I replied that I was there for an abdomen scan (X-ray). The employee told me what days and times were available. I asked why I needed to make an appointment as I was already scheduled for one on that day. She answered that I didn't tell her so, to which I countered that she didn't ask me that, and told her that I she asked what they could do for me TODAY. A year before, a doctor across the street told me I needed a scan, and there was a place across the street. I got put onto a long hold when I called, so I decided to walk over. When I got there I told a gentleman who turned out to be the office mgr. the story, and he grabbed a clipboard, went thru it and asked if I was ''Rick''. I repeated that I had not been there or spoken by phone before. He then suggested that I fill out paperwork to save time when I came in for the scan. I did so but when I came in, it could not be located. I was asked who I had dealt with that day, I described him perfectly, then saw a sea of blank faces. Not until I mentioned that he wore a business suit instead of ''scrubs'', did one of them suddenly realized who it was. read more

I almost cancelled my appointment based on these reviews. But I was already in the car and only saw them when I pulled up Google to GPS my way. I have now been to this place three times and each time all of the employees were AT LEAST polite and some of them were downright helpful and delightful. I had a mammogram today and the technician was funny and helpful and made me laugh. She was quick and professional. I have not had to wait on any of the visits for more than 20 minutes. I asked and they gave me a cd with my films and copies of my past readings - in case I decide to go a little closer to home next year. The reason I knocked off the star is because they could use a little bit of paint and fresh chairs and stuff. It's looking a little shabby (not dirty tho). But the rest was very good. read more

I been coming to Laural radiology for years and service just terrible they always asked as if you are a first time customer and want you to fill out new members. Ask first then locate your file but they will still put you thru I'd. and insurance. Just a handful of what they put you thru. Don't call them they will put you on hold and then hang up on you. read more

I'm so not happy with laurel radiology. Been coming for years, the wait is long and I had to get reevaluated for a mammogram, they gave everyone else I formation and a bag celebrating breast cancer awareness month and I was coming in to get reevaluated for an abnormal reading and they gave me nothing. I'm sad, confused, worried and stressed and they were like you can go. Just wait for your dr. to call you. Just very inconsiderate along with a lot of other factors. They stay busy so who am I as a customer, but just know in the future I will go elsewhere and hopefully they are a little bit more caring about their patients. read more

I only had an ultrasound in my bladder...so this post is mostly about the front desk women. I have never been to a doctors office with such delightful people working at the front desk. The procedure was quick and easy and I did not feel judged. My appointment was at 9:30 and I was in my car leaving by 10Am so I say it was a good day. read more

Long wait, incompetent staff. Would rather travel somewhere else. Waited for two hours maybe 3. Plus staff didn't care. People that came after me was seen before me. Manger didn't care after I told him, he just said a whole bunch of nonsense and tried to use big words as if I didn't u understand, but I did. I went there for an ultrasound and it was my first ultrasound even though I was 17 weeks through. The reception service was fine but the nurse who checked me was not that great. To my surprise she just blurted out the gender without even asking me if I want to know or not. Which in my case I didn't want to know, she ruined all the gender reveal party that was planned. At the end she didn't even ask if I have any concerns or questions, she just left the room and I wasn't sure which way was out I had to figure the maze by myself. be ware of this radiology office !! there are only one radiologist and she never reads the radiology reports on time !!! your doctors office will have to call their front desk to fax over the report 100 times before it will be received.. the manager belittles her employees right in front of patients who are listening to everything. very disrespectful. this office collects high deductibles at their front desk and when you receive your eob and it says you have no copay or deductible, the manager makes you go thru hell for them to give them back your money! they are thieves.. do not go to this office ! this radiology office hires technicians (sono and mammography technicians) who are not certified to give certain exams but this office has them on payroll !!!! i am sure this is against the law !! do not go there !!! beware !!!!!! i will be also filing a complaint with medicare for making me pay up front!!! dont take your family there !!!!!! read more

I have been using this facility for yearly mammograms for almost 10 years. I find the front office staff usually friendly and efficient except on this occasion. Now that my insurance covers 3d mammograms, my doctor has instructed me to start having that image taken. Laurel is not equiped for 3D. It was recommended that I bring my prior images with me for comparison. Called Laurel and was told to come in it would take 10-15 minutes. Next day left work, came in only to be told by the same woman that I talked to the previous day that staff cannot burn the images...only the office manager....that something was wrong with the machine and only he could do it. Of course he wasn't in and she didn't know when he would be in so I was told that he would call me that day when he arrived and I would be able to come back in to pick up my mammos. I have called now 5 times without any return call and everyone you speak to "passes the ball" and you cannot get a solid reason or answer. Do they exist?...who knows. There is a strong lack of communication or just a plan cover up going on at this facility. Someone knows what is going on so just tell me so I can stop wasting my time. So ladies....if you need to acquire prior mammograms let me tell you that they probably do not exist because if they did this would not be so difficult and you would get an answer. As I write this review, I have left yet another call in to the office manager and actually left it on his voice mail....so let's see if he calls me back! read more
