I had moved away and rented my house, then years later the renters left and I decided to sell. The house was in pretty rough shape by then, no longer qualifying for FHA. Other realtors I talked to suggested a firesale of sorts, the whole 'as-is' method where I might even lose money in the deal. And here I was, more than a day's drive away living in another part of the world, unable to improve my situation. Then I randomly called Tanya at Executive Real Estate (who I didn't know from a hole in the ground), and she spoke with me confidently, forthrightly, and within 5 minutes she told me how it's all going to go down... and that she was going to get xxx (about 15% more) for my house. I admit my eyes were a little wide, so I went with it. But if it didn't sell, I'm obviously paying multiple mortgages/utilities until it does. "But what about all the things we need to do to fix it up?" -- "I'll handle it" She had a strategy, and executed it... Like an attack-dog in my camp, she brought (dragged?) people through my place and showed it off. All the places she advertised it all went on at the right time, with the right words, the right pictures, etc -- and called me the FIRST DAY with the right offer exactly matching what she said she'd get, which was already far more than anyone else said was possible. I was floored! But my story wasn't done. The house still had a lot of problems. It had to qualify FHA, and the inspection turned up more issues. I was hopelessly out-of-state, but Tanya handled all of it. Lined up the right people to take care of all the problems-- even up to the day of closing. All with the same confident and direct manner of speaking that convinced me that she was the right place for my trust. And then we closed successfully, probably within two months of me first calling her. As an addendum, all the while she was working with me, making me feel like I was the only thing on her plate, she was closing on other houses (she had called me sometimes driving to or from other closings). It was truly something to behold, and I'm kinda meh on other realtors where I live now because she set the bar so high. And I've never even met her! If your world requires a Realtor, Tanya (and the folks at Executive Real Estate) is the right person -- ACTIVE, aggressive, resourceful, dynamite!

I rented an apartment through them- found it on Craigslist and they coordinated everything between…read moreme and the owners. The owners lived in Florida and it caused some big miscommunications. First, the house was A MESS when we moved in. We asked during the walk through if it would be cleaned and the realtor (Holly) said she had already done enough. We asked about the filthy rugs and she said she had vaccumed them and that the owners wouldn't be willing to do anything else. There was literally mouse poop on the kitchen floor and they just suggested to get an exterminator. Should've walked away when we had the chance. Landscaping and snow removal were included in the lease, but then we were told landscaping wasn't actually going to be included because we had a dog. Ok, then winter came. One.. two.. three snow storms and no one ever came to plow our driveway as planned. We reached out to the owner, who was obviously out of the loop, and she tried to track them down. Of the 10 times it snowed, not once did a plow person show up. After we called and emailed, they showed up once at 6pm... we had already shoveled our cars out. The refrigerator wasn't working when we moved in, also. Apparently it had been unplugged with a bunch of ice inside, which melted and then refroze.. blocking the vent to the fridge part. It took SEVEN DAYS for it to be fixed. Not the best first week in a new place. Especially after paying to have the rugs cleaned and cleaning the entire house ourselves. A few weeks later, the oven starting stinking of gas and we weren't able to use it. This time it took over 2 weeks to get a new oven. (Lotsss of take out our first month there) To top it off, Holly told us the statement of condition/walk through wasn't something they did, and never put our deposit in an interest bearing account (both MA state laws). When we moved out, the owners tried to have us pay for the rugs to be cleaned and didn't want to refund our deposit. The house also had a history of lead/Deleading, but the realtor didn't have any of the paperwork. I had to track down someone from the town's office for the inspection report, and I also had another inspection completed for piece of mind. For charging a $500 realtor fee, you'd think they would do something, anything, told hold up their own responsibility in renting out a unit. They didn't even follow standard state laws. I definitely don't recommend working with this group.

Kathy has an amazing rolodex of contacts for getting things done like tree work, basement sealing and painting, and rubbish removal quickly and reasonably priced. Kathy prepared a thorough report on comparable properties and helped set a reasonable price for our property that had few comparables. She ran an open house and even unstopped a toilet after one of the viewers plugged it - I never thought that would be a seller's agent service! Kathy was there through the entire sale. I had moved, and was no longer able to be on site, and she handled all of the last minute issues before closing. My house sold quickly and at near asking price, which means that it was correctly priced and well represented. She earned her commission and I am ever grateful.

Our first impression of Eve did not match her poor performance which followed. We were LIED to about the property she was selling. Why some real estate agents LIE is beyond me?? Wouldn't it be best for them just to be truthful and honest?? Today we are fighting her in court regarding our last property (maybe that's another reason why she was fired after 2 weeks of being employed with this company!). Since our unfortunate dealings with Eve Patterson (while she was briefly with Park Realty), we found an awesome agent (out of Boston) who took much better care of us and understood what we just went through with her. He too, has heard many complaints with regards to her shady real estate dealings. Her track record is terrible and speaks for itself! Come to find out, we recently found out that she lasted with Park Realty for only a couple weeks! So she is not Working for this company anymore allegedly. What does that tell you? Ask her previous employers if you want to inquire about her (lack of) performance history! I don't expect you to take our word for it. Please check for yourselves. I hear she gets fired from every agency that hires her, within weeks! So even her agencies have had it with her shenanigans. That word sums it up.
