He denied that I even talked to him. So my husband and I talked with another salesman and he was very nice. We took another sample home. I called a few days later and told him we were interested and what kind of price they could offer us. He said he'd call back--never did. A few days later, we went back to the store to return sample and to talk with someone. No one came out of the other room to help us. We just left the sample back where it belonged and left. We got 4 estimates for what ended up…read morebeing 960 square feet of carpet, and were quite disappointed with the quality of product and service from places like Empire and The Carpet Guys. We also got an estimate from a small business locally. Flooring America was able to beat their price. Our salesperson, Ben, was helpful and responsive whenever I had a question or needed something -- even emailing back on his day off. He explained everything in clear terms, and he gave straightforward answers to questions I had about types of carpet, how different types would stand up over time, etc. He was the only one of the four places to measure with a laser!!! Some of the others just kind of threw their tape measure around and whatever number they got was "close enough." Then they'd scribble down figures in pencil on graph paper. I think the laser is much more accurate. The carpet was ordered and ready for when our schedule would allow for us to have it installed. The installers were polite and efficient. They explained what they were doing, and they consulted me whenever they had a question about which way I would prefer they do something. They did a beautiful job, and I am happy we chose Flooring America. And I am so pleased to have my nasty old carpet out of here!

I contracted to have a bathroom repaired and remodeled in my home. I am extremely angry and…read morefrustrated over the handling of this project; the constant promises not fulfilled, as well as the late-shows and no-shows for promised work days without a call.   Unfortunately, I did not looked at the daily progress on the project closely, trusting that everything was being completed cleanly, professionally, and as promised. However, the painting and caulking were both very shoddily performed, with paint bleeds and caulking smeared over the paint and flooring. Before contracting,Terry assured me that he had experience installing vinyl plank flooring. It is evident the flooring was damaged during the installation, with one plank not cut properly to meet the next and an unidentified substance used to fill the gap. He charged me for supplies not used and ultimately stole $2200.00 in the end. He has made no effort to rectify any of this. Do not hire this man or his company!
