Custom…read morebuilt isn't just a business it's a promise of quality, support, excellence and unmatched professionalism. I say all this not just because the work they did for my deck project, which was amazing and seamless...but because they did it with the kind of care I give to all who enter my home. They value your home and it's heart. We were not just a project we were a family they wanted to provide peace of mind. I'm writing this review, because they absolutely stepped up to the plate in my homes time of need. Our sump pump had seized causing a a simulation of the Rainforest in our spare basement bedroom. Water was dripping from everywhere and we had no clue why. In a state of panic I reached out to Sarah from Custom Built, and within minutes she was on the phone with their plumber. Customer Built has every service at the ready and a new sump was installed by their plumber within hours of that first call! Not days... hours! Sarah and the Custom Built team gave no hesitations, just action and a much needed hug. Just like our deck project communication was spot on and the job was pure quality. The flooring has been replaced and all that was needed was agreed upon and completed. We have our space back. All of this has solidified their place as part of the family because when our home was suffering and not even my insurance company was calling me back, the person who came straight to mind was Sarah at Custom Built! That goes beyond any contract I'd sign for a project. Custom built IS a promise and that promise is wrapped WITH sincerity and a commitment unlike any other.

I HIGHLY recommend Blake Kopulos (the owner of Kopulos Construction Services, LLC) for any and all…read morecontractor work you may need! I recently had an offer to buy my house in Grand Ledge, but the inspection revealed mold in my attic, rotting deck boards on my roof, several rotting 4x4 deck posts under my backyard deck, some electrical boxes that required metal plate covers, one leaking toilet tank and a loose toilet not secured to the ballast in another bathroom. The home sale was made contingent upon fixing all these issues with paid receipts from a licensed contractor prior to closing. Closing was tentatively set for the end of September (approximately 20 days from the discovery of all these identified issues), and I was very worried that I would not be able to find a contractor or contractors who could complete all that work prior to the end of September. Blake personally came out to my house right away after I contacted him and crawled up into my tiny attic access to identify what would be required to mitigate the mold, replace the rotting decking as well as shingle the entire roof (house and garage) which had no top ventilation (thus causing the mold and rotting deck boards). He also identified what was needed to replace the deck posts under my deck as well as the toilet fixes and electrical box covers needed. I could not imagine any contractor would be able to complete all that work in less than 20 days to meet the tentative closing date before the end of September, but Blake assured me that he would be able to line up a roofing crew to complete the roof tear off, decking replacement and shingling within 15 days, AND he said he could mitigate the mold on the existing insulation and the trusses when the crew tore off the rotting roof boards. He also said he would be able to dig down and jackhammer the cement out from underneath the rotting deck support beams and install new treated lumber 4x4 beams with new concrete poured around them, as well as fixing the two toilets and covering the electrical boxes with the required metal covers. He immediately put together a very reasonable estimate for the roofing job and mold remediation, and he said all work could be completed within 15 days! On top of that, I was leaving for a pre planned family vacation for 10 days during most of those 15 days! I quickly paid him a deposit on the day I was leaving town, and I was shocked and pleasantly surprised that he was able to do it all (and for a VERY reasonable price) before I returned from my vacation! Blake provided outstanding results and excellent communication both before and after the project was completed. Anyone who has ever had to find contractors for the wide variety of work I needed done knows how difficult it is to even find contractors who are capable of doing all those things let alone one contractor who can do it all within 15 days of providing an estimate. He secured a building permit, completed all the work and hauled away all the debris including old shingles, rotted decking boards, and broken up concrete and rotted 4x4 beams before I arrived home 10 days later and everything was done perfectly! The grass, driveway, wood decks and surrounding bushes and plants were kept clean and in excellent condition during all the work that was completed as well. I seriously cannot find the words to describe how grateful I was that I hired Blake Kopulos (owner of Kopulos Construction Services, LLC), and I absolutely give him my highest recommendation possible! You will not regret hiring him for any construction/contractor services you need done at your home or business!

We WHOLEHEARTEDLY recommend Worthy Finishes for your…read morepainting needs. This whole process began when our neighbor across the street had her house painted. It looked amazing! She said that the painter was a little OCD with his cleanliness and perfection. When we checked him out on Facebook and discovered that he was a Christian man, we knew that it was a match made in heaven and we were sold! We got Gabe's information from her and gave him a call. He gave us a great quote and we accepted the offer. On the first day they power washed our house and covered our windows. The second day was a wash with rain, high temperatures and high humidity so no painting could be started. The third, fourth and fifth days Gabe and his team worked tirelessly to complete the painting of our home. This team is such a joy to work with. We kept adding jobs and they never said "no". They didn't even seem exasperated with all of our requests! Poor Erick even painted our foundation under our deck when we requested it. We loved how approachable and hard working they were. We never saw them even take a break! Rain was a threat practically every day but they pushed through and they did a FANTASTIC job! They were prompt, kind, courteous, considerate, talented, respectful of our property, OCD in their cleanliness, and loved on our dog. We are hiring them for some interior painting and drywall repair in November. Gabe and his crew (Patrick, Erick, and Corbin) are definitely "WORTHY" of all accolades given them. Give Gabe a call! You won't regret it!
