This place was clean. The machines were all in working order. The dryer seemed to work efficiently. The owner was there. He seemed to be very polite and helpful. Others mentioned that the area the laundromat is in can be a bit sketchy, we did not have any problems. I have been there since that visit and have not had any issues. They take up most of the laundromat with a ridiculous amount of sheets and they are very rude about it service is terrible.. the vending machine door gets jammed and then they will question if you even bought anything in the first place if you ask them to open it. I have had services done at this location twice. Both times the employee had problems ringing me up. The first time she didn't know how to enter my card in the system, the second time she charged me $16 which I knew could not rbe right and I brought it to her attention but she insisted. When I came back the next day to pick up my items ( I went to the location, did not get a call to let me know my items were ready) I was told that I was not charged the right amount. Even though I knew that was the case I did not feel like I should have been responsible for their mistake. The woman had issues ringing me up again after swiping my card several times, so after waiting about 15-20 minutes I just pulled cash out of the ATM. The next day I noticed that I had two charges for the amount of cash I pulled out. I called and the woman on the phone said she would inform the manager. I never got a phone call. I called back again today and I was told the manager told the employee I spoke to that there was no charge and that they didn't owe me any money. Someone needs to fix this. This is not ok. read more

been going there for some time now, had no problem with how many washers I use, there's no sign! there is no one else waiting for the washers so I use whatever is available. but today I was told I could only use 4 washers! lately, this location at pikes peak has this one attendant that whenever I come to wash she is like harassing, looking probably on how much washers I will take up!! in the past the washers I use depends on my loads, I could end up using 2, 3, 4, 6 loads, whatever! I did ask the attendant if she only told me I could only use 4 washers! she said, she was told to tell only ME And that I'm greedy!!!! mind u I used only 3 washers today. Every time i go in here, it reeks like ass. They need to clean their machines every once in a while. I tried to open the door one time and they just ended up shutting it on me. Plus, it's always like obscenely busy no matter what time of day or night it is. There's homeless people smoking drugs outside constantly, and the last time I went in the mexican lady who works there got in a huge fight w some other younger mexican chick, and not just like your normal cat-fight- they def thru hands, and the cops got called and it was just a huge mess. I guess it made for some exciting unusual drama that you don't usually see at your typical laundromats....Oh, and one last thing, that Mexican chick that works there can be a major pain in the ass btw. Like, clearly I knew they closed at 10 pm, she doesn't need to throw it in my face everytime she sees me- as if my business is never welcomed in the first place so long as she runs a few min late to close.....smh, poor customer service for sure. I've used the pickup/drop off service 2 times. Today was supposed to be my 3rd. Pick up was scheduled between 10-2 today. It's 321 pm and no pickup yet. I called the nearest location at 2, was directed to pikes peak, and was directed back to carefree location at 3. Both answered, says they don't have driver numbers and "I'm not sure why everyone keeps calling here". This business needs a touch more organization. I live in an apartment complex and am not comfortable leaving our necessities outside the front door, as I am instructed to do per the last call. As a disabled vet, single mom of 2, 1 who's special needs, I REALLY need the help. The first 2 times using the service was glorious! I about teared up after seeing the effort to match our hodgepodge socks and it all came back expertly folded and smelling heavenly. I have been there 2x both Times there was no water in the washers, I have a family so I need washers, I put water in the washer to get my clothes cleaned, they were actually washing completely DRY. I love this place. Always clean, an aura of organization, clean and structure... I suppose it's derived from the staff (1 young lady) who clearly has OCD and stays on top of her game... and yours! Lol. Only issue is the mask policy. I'm all for it. However, I'm not a fan of a laundry mat being stuffy and hot due to people and dryers running all day and not being able to bring my mask down below my nose for 0.5 seconds without the mask nazi being there ready to ask you to put it on properly and saying this 3-5 times before you're able to blink much less return it back to the proper position. I ask this, if I'm able to remove my mask while eating and conversing at a restaurant where food is everywhere, why am I not allowed to remove it while maintaining social distance at a laundromat with no food??????????? If not for the mask issue, this place would be a solid 5 stars no joke! All laundromats should take notice and fall in line. This is the way they should have always been, but no one was holding them accountable. I think its time we start holding them accountable for sure. Went here instead of the usual laundromat I use- I'll divide my comments into pros and cons: Pros: Exceptionally clean laundromat with attendants onsite if you need help or have a problem. All the machines are new, and there are plenty of tables to fold/organize your laundry on. I was in on 11/11, at 10 am. They were quite busy, but I was able to load up my 7 loads into their 20# washers. I had no concerns with the effectiveness of the washers; all my laundry came out clean with no rips or tears. The dryers were equally efficient, and I was able to dry my items quickly. The cost of the dryers was .25 for 7 minutes. The staff was kind; as I loaded up my laundry, the attendant offered to assist me! Cons: The cost of the washers is quite high, compared to the laundry I've been using for the past couple of years. The 20# washers where I go cost $3.75 for a hot water wash, $2.50 for a cold water wash. Here, I paid $5.75 for a cold water wash, and $7.75 for hot water. I used my debit card for the washers, and quarters for the dryers. I didn't see any signs advising there would be a hold amount on debit card purchases- I assumed there would be a hold. Each load I used the debit card on had a $10 hold on my account. $70 is an excessive hold amount! My regular laundromat does a $15 hold, total, no matter how many machines you use on that day. Okay, I thought- live and learn- once the hold amount was over, I figured the correct amount would be charged against my account. The pending amount cleared my account. I was charged $70, not the $50.25 I was expecting for two cold water loads and five hot water loads. I contacted Laundry Lounge, and was told to give it a few more days for the correct charge to appear. By 11/15, the incorrect charge was still on my account. At this point, I let my bank settle the charge for the correct amount with Laundry Lounge. Verdict: Skip this laundromat. IF, and that's a big if, I was to use Laundry Lounge again, I would only use CASH. I'd love to give them five stars- I simply can't based on the cost of the washers, and the overcharge to my debit card. *See my other reviews for my regular laundromat. I can wash the same amount of laundry for $23.75. read more

This place is clean, tech savvy and well styled in the world of modernized laundromats. Up -to- date systems that use an app on your smart phone or allows a customer to swipe a card so you don't have to deal with the tedious, antiquated drag of dropping umpteenmillion coins in every machine. If you have those moments where you need to bring in an enormous amount of laundry to wash that you waited to long to tackle, then the full service laundry option is very reasonable, quick and worth every penny. Several different size washer machines with different prices depending on what size load you choose. Two different size dryer machines. There is an attendant on duty to help you with any questions. The machines allow you to use your credit/debit card which I liked, made it very easy. They have a vending machine that has laundry soaps/dryer sheets etc. I went on a Monday and it was very low key/not busy, went back before we left town on a Wednesday and it was BUSY.... The parking lot is the only downfall, not many spots and it can be a far walk to lug your laundry to the store front unless you park at the curb and block road access for others which I noticed several people doing. In all this was a decent place to do your laundry with a more modern vibe, it was very clean and maintained other than serval light fixtures needing new bulbs. read more

I have been going to LL for several months now to do my family's laundry but I will never frequent this business again. The positives: clean facilities and equipment and a very friendly staff. I am even willing to pay the higher prices they charge because it's a nice facility but I can't overlook the negatives anymore. The negatives: Last time I was there a homeless lady was doing her laundry which is fine. However, she was sitting on the floor in front of her machines with her dog (which by the way peed all over the floor in front of my machine) asking people to put money in her machine since she had none while holding a sign that read "anything helps". To top it off she was not wearing a mask. There's a f'ing pandemic on and no mask. It's not only her every time I go in there I see multiple people without masks on and the staff say nothing. Well I have the right to be safe in this establishment and that's not happening so I will be going somewhere else that REQUIRES the mask mandate be enforced. And by the way we wash twice a week spending roughly $50 so do the math $200 a month or $2400 a year. Your competition is thanking you for not enforcing the mask mandate and it's such a shame because your facilities are actually very nice. I have rights. Your loss. Best laundromat I have ever been too!! They have security cameras, that catch voice and video that are live feed security cameras so if an issue is occurring the security can see it in real time and stop the issue, they have free coffee, vending machines with snacks and drinks. Another vending machine just for detergents, softeners, and dryer sheets, televisions and great lighting! The environment feels so safe that I left my stuff in the dryer and no one stole it! Okay kinda ridiculous. When i got in the place it was 7 and I asked the lady working when the place closed and she said at 10 so I was like okay, plenty of time since last load is at 8:30.i came back to pick up my clothes at 9:20 and the place was closed. Irritated as is, I decided to come back in the morning and it says they open at 7 and it's currently 8 and they still aren't open and my clothes are still inside..update: it's been all day me going back and forth to the laundry place and it's been closed all day. The convenience is great, but no genuine effort was made to actually "clean" my laundry. Seemed to be more of adding a little detergent or watered down bleach, dry, fold, and return to customer than focusing on a quality job. Will not use again, and that makes me sad. My family is in between homes and the hotel we are staying in does not have laundry services. I heard about laundry lounge from the sign holder on the street and decided to try them out. The staff are so helpful. I really appreciate that someone holds the door for you when you come in so you don't have to struggle with laundry. The facility is clean and bright and there are different sized washers. I love that I can do my family's laundry in one giant load and not spend my whole day in the laundromat. There are many machines, places to sit and tables to fold laundry on. Everything you need is inside.There is complimentary coffee, water fountain and vending machines with snacks and laundry items. There's an ATM, a machine that breaks larger bills into smaller bills and a change machine. If you don't want to jaw quarters for the machine you can use a credit or debit card.
