Of course, many things I wanted to take with me were sitting in my dry clean pile, as I had been working from home for weeks with no call for my higher end clothing. Drat! What to do? I called my regular cleaner about possible same day service or even two day service and was told that was a "no go." So much for my 20 plus year's of business. So, to Yelp I turned and happened upon Colvin Cleaners. They told me they regularly do same day service as long as the garments are there by 10:30 am and that I could expect them back at or before 3 pm. Eureka!! I drove like a mad woman straight there from the southern tier and arrived at 10:32 am. Despite my tardiness for the 10:30 deadline, the counter staff was very friendly, bright and cheerful and greeted me with a "how can we help?" They set up an account for me, checked in my items, and told me I could expect a text when the dry cleaning could be picked up, all in under 5 minutes! I decided to run errands while in Buffalo for my trip. Sure enough at about 2:30 pm, I got a text informing me my clothes were ready. I arrived, to find yet more bright happy and helpful service staff at the counter. I paid a very reasonable sum for my clothes and was on my way. This place is great and advertises that they employ green cleaning methods to boot! If you are in the Buffalo area, make this business your dry cleaners!!!!! You will not regret it!

ThIs place is huge. And brand new and shiny. And huge…read more Tons of parking too. On Hertel and Crestwood. I think it used to be a restaurnt, but was empty for years. And then took another 6 months or so under construction. But wow, it looks great now. They have baskets to move loads around, plenty of machines and change machines too. Sadly they have the radio and tv both blaring on different stations, so that's not pleasant. But if you only wants to drop in some laundry and then run an errand or sit in your car, it's fine.

A week later (Tuesday) we go to pick it up and they only cleaned the coat, now mind you, my boyfriend talked in person to them and they discussed fixing the coat in detail for at least 20 minutes last week! Now they're telling us that we can get the coat next Tuesday, which is crazy considering they messed up, so they compromise and say they'll have it fixed on Friday. This morning they call and say they can't have it done until next Friday! Now, I don't know what it takes to fix a zipper, but I know that if you say you'll fix it, fix it and fix it the first time... We'll be picking up the coat and take it somewhere else, don't need to be jerked around like that.

I ended up dropping it off anyway because we were recommended by a family friend. Originally, the woman at the counter said that they would not be able to have to suit done until Monday. I mentioned that I needed it for tomorrow and she went in the back to check with the cleaners, and then she came back out and guaranteed that it'd be done by 5pm today. To give them a little extra time, I stopped in around 5:50pm to pick up my items. The girls at the counter were very friendly. However, on the suit jacket and the dress shirt were ready and they told me the pants wouldn't be ready until Monday because all of the cleaners went home early. I'm not too sure why all the cleaners would go home early without all of the orders being done. Also, there was no manger on staff for me to speak with to resolve the issue. So, I asked for the pants back at least so that I could wash and press them at home. The girls couldn't find the pants... so I had to wait nearly a half hour before they could find them. When I asked if I could get a refund on the pants because they weren't complete, the girl mentioned that only managers are able to provide refunds. The only upside of my visit was that the staff was friendly and respectful. Unfortunately, the cleaners simply weren't efficient.
