The equipment is clean, the staff is lovely and it's not overly crowded! Grab a beer &wash yours clothes... it's a win win!

Casey is the star of this establishment at this facility! This is a small but well kept, clean organized establishment with excellent staff. Get there right at opening or you will find the place very busy doing after the later opening of 0830. My only complaint is the place should open at 0600 or 0700 at the very latest. This place has a unique refreshment beer-bar the 2nd one I've around the country in my frequent travels. Baytown, TX has a wash-a-beeria Laundrymat connected to a restaurant by a hallway. That's another story (good) one. I had a problem here when the washer did not spin-dry the water out of my clothes. The attendant Casey was on the spot and sprung into action when I bought this to her attention. She quickly addressed the problem apologized for the issue, removed my clothes and spin-dryed them in another machine. What great service. read more

Not really happy cause people can just leave there landry in the dryers and come back whenever they want too, um some people are in a rush to do there landry. It isn't right to just leave your landry and do whatever u want. And even today the employee doesn't even know how to run the washer. We had an issue today and the employee just gave us our money back but didn't even help us. Just an FYI to everyone come to this place either in the morning or just on saturday. read more

I want start off by saying Laundry Mat with a bar what a great idea! Love being able to enjoy a good beer while waiting to do boring house choirs. 8 beers on tap and what looks like a good current list of local beers. Free wi-fi! Another plus is that the have a changer for $20 that give both quarters and bills back. -Down side and where this place loses a lot a points is the washing machines. Several are out of order or have functions that do not work. And several of the dryers are out of service too. And a lot of the machines seem dated. I'd like to see machines that accept credit/debt cards and with larger capacity. When I looked this place up it says you accept cards but that only at the bar. Just a little misleading. My wife and I are traveling the USA in a RV, overnighted near by. One heck of allot of laundry. Read the previous reviews so we decided to come by. After careful observation of our surroundings we went in and Very Glad we did. Very clean, the manager is great, area is good, No issues getting a washer but remember the location is virtually on the Kent State grounds so guess what. Bring your patience hat and wash, have a beer at the bar, cup of fresh coffee and wi-fi. They just brought in a new pay for loads by phone system which is very efficient no change required. read more

I have always loved Laundry 101 and they haven't changed! This has got to be the most happening laundromat ever. While they have basic washing and drying options, they also have LARGE machines, super fast machines and everything in between. They also have, aside from laundering, a full bar, game machines, WiFi, billiards table and made to order snacks! I used to come here all the time when I was in college, 1995-2000 and let me tell ya, I still stop in on occasion, because it is the best! read more

The worst thing about having my own washer & dryer now is that I have no reason to go here anymore! Who doesn't want to get drunk while doing their laundry? This place is associated with a nearby bar/beer store called 101 bottles. They don't have the same, huge selection obviously but they have a few different beers on draft & in bottles. They also have coffee and some snacks you can buy. And there is free wifi! They have a wide selection of washers including normal, double, triple, and quad loaders. Their prices are reasonable and they have different deals throughout the week (making laundry cheaper during non-peak hours). Their dryers are huge, and therefore dry your stuff quickly. The staff are very nice, happy and helpful. They do a great job keeping a look out, cleaning up, and assisting you with the machines. Btw- they only take change, but they have an exchanger thing that will give you quarters for dollars. read more

Let's be honest, no one really enjoys doing laundry, especially college students. I'm normally extremely busy, so on the rare occasion that I finally get to do my laundry, my laundry has pilled up to the point where I have problems carrying it all. Laundry 101 has made this task a lot more enjoyable. The idea of combining a bar with a laundromat is so clever! There are also different video games and a pool table to help customers pass the time. Plus, the interior of the business is very colorful and fun. The machines are very large and allow me to do all my laundry in two loads. Whenever I come here I always bring a bunch of homework and am able to use the time to get other things done. The staff is always so incredibly friendly and helpful - I have never had a bad experience with them. The only reason I'm giving this review four stars is because many of the machines are often broken when I visit. I'm going to continue doing my laundry here until I graduate. When that happens, I'll probably be sad that I have to move onto a boring laundromat. read more

Other laundromats are boring. There might be TV or you might have to resign yourself to watching the dryer tumble for an hour. Not here. Laundry 101 has a bar with draft and bottle beer as well as fountain drinks and craft soda in bottles. They have pizza (until 8pm), nachos and cheese and chips. There's free WiFi and a pool table. The cost of washing and drying is too high. In addition, you always have to fight to get a washer.

I went there before and overall I have had a good experience EXCEPT for Today. The coin changer wasn't dispensing . I went to the worker. He kept checking my bill ( like it was as fake). I said to him would you like to try it in the coin changer? He took forever to give me another bill. Then the bill he gave me wasn't dispensing,( I believe he needed to check his coin machines it could have been filled) Terrible customer service!!! After completing the wash the dryers weren't correct on the time. He said well you lost a few quarters. Really!!! He didn't come back with any change or Nothing!!! I believe the job isn't for him!! Laundry 101 find another worker like maybe someone that deals with the Public!! Maybe have some customer service!!! He just wanted to be bartender!! I spent a lot of money and was treated horrible!!! Clean place with new large machines. They have a place to hang out and machines that can handle anything.

I used to enjoy coming here to do my laundry. In fact, I would drive all the way here from Akron to do it because of the friendly, helpful employees and great atmosphere. However, times have changed. A good number of the machines say "out of order" almost constantly and they refused to return a quarter I accidentally applied to an "out of order" dryer. That's just bad customer service. read more
