BAD BUSINESS PRACTICE - 12/21- I paid $12 to use a larger washer but it wouldn't start. I called the number on the wall and spoke to a guy named Josh, who I assumed was the owner. He tried to trouble shoot, but it didn't work; he said he'd refund me the $12. 12/27 - I followed up, he confirmed he'd send refund if $12 charge didn't post. 12/31 - I followed up again about getting refunded. No answer, no refund. Jan. 13 - Still no refund. Disappointing, it's really more about the principle of doing what's right and not ripping off your customers than the $12 refund. I would not recommend this laundromat based on my experience. Machine #9 did not have any hot water, even though I paid to use it. I contacted the owner to explain the issue, hoping for a refund or at least an apology for the inconvenience. Instead, I was met with rude customer service. The owner refused to reimburse me, was dismissive during the conversation, and hung up on me before I could finish explaining the problem. Equipment issues can happen, but how a business responds to its customers is what matters. Unfortunately, the lack of accountability and poor customer service were very disappointing. I hope the owner fixes Machine #9 and treats future customers with more respect. read more

We stopped in one evening during our vacation since our hotel didn't have laundry facilities. There was no wait and the machines were well priced, which was great. Unfortunately, the laundromat itself could use some attention -- dust, trash, and softener sheets were scattered around, giving the place a pretty unkempt feel. It got the job done for what we needed, but a good cleaning and a little upkeep would go a long way. read more

Came here during vacation with my family. The washers and dryers work great. It's about $6-7 per wash and $2.50 for dryers. I was surprised to see that they accept cards/contactless payments on the machines... which would've been great to know beforehand. read more

The bad....coins got stuck in 2 machines and finally someone who was doing their laundry showed me one that worked. I tried to call the number for assistance and no one answered or called me back so you're pretty much screwed. Guess that's how they make their money It's also really hot in there with no fans so just gotta bare it while you wait. The good...the express machines don't take long which is nice. You can bring a book or answer emails on your phone to kill some time. read more

I usually go to the is laundry mat but just know the customer service sucks. There was a problem with the water getting switched off mid mash, I called the help number and the guy blew me off. When he came into the mat he rushed around and continued to not speak with anyone, meanwhile my machine is throwing codes. Eventually I had to use the emergency turn off button and pull out the load before it was done. Later I saw the guy outside chatting and cruising with other people and he never came back in to check on anyone like he said he would read more

Super clean! Great spot to do a quick wash and dry. Approximately 42 mins to wash, 30 mins to dry.

Very clean!! The only thing I was disappointed with was there was no place to hang the clothes.

Good experience! Fast and clean. Love the options of machine size! They have huge dryer that you can fit at least 4 to 6 loads of clothes! Very big commercial size ! Was very very impressed. $3.75 per wash load based on warm water wash option. $1.25 for soap. And $3 for 30 minutes for the giant dryer (did pay extra 4 x quarters for additional 3 minutes each quarter! The extra dry time on the dryer wasn't necessary for me. I have a standard load of clothes and it looks like it was only taking 20% or less of the dryer's room. Fabulous job done! read more

Establishment was extremely neat and clean and decently priced. Machines are well maintained and clean also. We came here for the entire first month of living here until we finally got our new washer. I will continue to come here when I need to do bulkier loads. P.S. A restroom would be a good idea..... Definitely the more updated of the 2 laundromats in Kapaa! You'll pay a little more than the other one in the Big Save shopping center, about $1-2 on a regular size load, but this one is also more tucked away; not as many people. Bigger size commercial washers & driers. They also have a change machine & folding tables for clean laundry. read more

Easy pay options! Clean inside and out. Have soap and dryer sheets etc. available for purchase.

Facility is very clean & machines are well maintained. Prices are average. Would definitely use again.

Absolutely LVE this place!! Machines work great & washes and drys items fast. You don't have to keep on adding quarters to the dryers, it drys in the defaulted amount of time. There's security cameras to discourage theft. There's a huge ceiling fan that keeps the place cooler than other laundromats. The owners operating system is very organized! read more

The 3 to 4 times i went to do laundry the place is always clean and neat, all of the washers and dryers were working properly.

Would be five star, but the coin machine was out of order and they only accept coins. Thankfully another customer had extra. The phone number listed is disconnected. Timer on washer ended 5 minutes before the same timer on my phone, so our clothes just sat there, and the time we paid on the dryer ended early too. Clean place. Reasonable price--nice that you save if you don't use hot water. We were there on a Saturday afternoon and wasn't super busy. Visit on a Sunday afternoon was packed and had to go elsewhere. Fourth visit today we found them closed even though it said they were open. read more

Expensive and unhelpful staff, would expect better customer service for the cost. We ended up buying a washer and dryer from Costco after our last visit so we wouldn't have to go back again. read more

-Overall: Highly recommend! We needed a place to dry clothing after being caught in the rain (and before our flight). -Facility: Clean with great air flow (fans, and very open concept design) -Parking: Not bad, came here on a weekday. One business was closed (and maybe permanently out of business?) so just parked in front of there -Price: Only used the dryers. $0.25 for 3 minutes of drying. Steep but as expected for this area. read more

Always Clean interior. Washing machines are wonderful. Many different ones to choose from. Quick to resolve issues or troubleshoot any machine problems read more

We used this laundromat once during our 10-day stay on Kauai. The facility was clean, good air flow/cool temperature inside, plenty of available washers and dryers, the coin machine worked perfect for us. We were able to start our 3 loads of wash and then go over to Monico's Taqueria for lunch and sangria/margaritas. After lunch, it was a short 30 minutes for the clothes to dry and we were able to enjoy the rest of the afternoon. The condo where we were staying only had one working dryer, so the quality of this location saved us a lot of effort/energy/hassle. read more

California resident using this laundromat. Since it opened several years ago, I am a regular customer if this site. Very clean and great machines. If problems occur with machines, phone call for assistance are responded by quickly. Very rare if machines have problem as they are better than many laundromats on this island. I recommend this site to visitors or even locals if they have problems at their house. read more

Washer was out of order and no sign. No staff to help trouble shoot. Stops after a minute. Spent almost 8.75 with the detergent. Removed my clothes and used another washer. No was to get coins back from the machine. Chose a different cycle and the it finally ran but the drum isn't even moving. Video shows the machine with the timer running but the drum not spinning. read more

we used this laundromat twice during our stay in kauai, located on the edge of kapaa close to coconut market place. it's a clean well maintained laundromat, they have LG commercial HE washers that work great. cost is 4 dollars per load. there is a row of smaller express washers i didn't use them but i think they cost is 3 dollars per load. the dryers cost 25 cents every 3 minutes. we found 30 minutes was drying our loads well. easy access, best laundromat in kapaa! there's a quarter machine available, it accepts 1-5-10 dollar bills. read more

Clean facility with good air flow from fans while you're waiting. Parking is horrendous because it's in a tiny plaza with some popular restaurants. Express wash is $8.50, that's a 32 minute large load capacity in a commercial washer while the regular small machines are $3.50-3.75. Dryers are $0.25 every 3 minutes Cash only, there's a change machine inside since everything is coin operated. read more

We used this service as our hotel only had 1 dryer and 1 washer working so we found Laundromat Express Kauai! It was very clean lots of machines available. read more

Pros: I did laundry here on 4/29/21 and I was very satisfied with how clean this laundry was inside. The machine were clean inside and outside of the machine too and even the floor look clean. I was very happy to wash my clothes and worry about having to rewash my clothes again after a person was done with the machine before me and especially with Covid in every country it's very important for me to have my clothes cleanly wash and dry in a laundry service where I feel safe. See the picture I took, it speaks for itself. Cons: One thing I didn't like was not having a person there who could of help me change my $20.00 into two $10.00 instead of getting the change from the change machine that turned all my $20.00 into quarters to do laundry. Then when need, there was no restroom to urinate when I needed restroom use so had to walk next door to long drugstore or whatever nearby to buy something and ask to use their restroom. Overall I really really like this clean and new laundry service especially the clean new machines.highly recommended for anyone who needs to do laundry here. read more

Small inside, but in a perfect walking distance location. Washers and dryers work very well.

This place was very clean, and had lots of washers and dryer's available. Definitely recommend!

This laundromat is new and super clean! Love that they offer WiFi while waiting!! There are a couple bigger machines for larger loads. Dryers worked very well. There's a bathroom over at Wahooo's. I picked up an açai bowl and smoothie at the shop next door. Lots of parking in lot. There's a yoga studio on the other side that you can hear at times, but no biggie. Machines were maybe more expensive than other laundromats in the area, but worth it. read more

This place is CLEAN! All equipment is NEW! Top of the market washers and dryers. I already feel like my laundry is clean just walking in here. Friendly owner! His name is Joshua. TV to pass the time. I've only had wonderful experiences here. Facility is clean and tidy. The owner Josh is a really cool guy and very helpful. He advised how he maximizes the heat settings so that you get your money's worth. Instead of waiting about 35-40 minutes for my clothes to dry, it does it in less than 20 minutes. Excellent laundromat. We stayed at Princeville Resort and didn't want to pay $$$$$ to have someone wash our underwear, so we spent a morning driving here and catching lunch afterward. Clean facility (though not enclosed and no AC); machines well maintained. Prices seemed reasonable. Some people had recommended against leaving laundry unattended - seemed smart so we just passed the time reading in the car and there is also a coffee shop in the nearby shopping center. read more

This was my top choice for a laundromat on Kauai until COVID-19. No mask enforcement. No attendee cleaning seats, machines, and counters between customers. No response when I tried to contact them. Third week in a row so it appears they only care about money not their customers. read more

Had to wash some clothes and it wasn't busy when I came here on a Tuesday evening. Mostly posting to help others find it since Google maps gave horrible directions (pinpoint was in the coconut orchard, driving directions wanted me going the wrong way on 1 way residential streets on the other side of the highway). It is BEHIND WAHOOO GRILL. Clean! Wifi! I was out of there in under an hour, so it didn't eat up a bunch of my island time! I felt like it was pricey, but considering that I was probably last in a laundromat in the 1980, what do I know? read more
