Although i was sitting in the actual location, 699 Lewelling is what i checked into. Same name. However this review is for the location @ 14851 Washington Ave, San Leandro, CA 94578 Strange, I don't see it on Yelp. I like this place. Its nicer than my usual laundromat. Infact i found this place because my regular location was crowded and i needed to wash my comforters. The downside is they only have 1 huge washer. Im not sure how many loads it holds, im just used to the location i frequent having 3. They had several very large machines! Now that im done putting everything in the washing machine, i think i could of fit everything in very large instead of the 'huge'. When using the huge washer there is a 30 second delay after u put your money in. DO NOT OPEN IT THINKING MAYBE YOU DIDN'T CLOSE IT ALL THE WAY!. There is a sign on this washer letting u know once you open the door, your money is gone! It resets to empty!! NO REFUND. Be patient. It does work. Huge machine was $7. The next size down was $6. I didn't check out the smaller washers. The Driers are 5min per quarter (as of Oct 2019). The place was clean. There were a lot of machines. There it is a parking lot, however it is shared with other businesses such as the Dollar Tree. There was also tranquil music being played fro the speakers. Jazz, which i love. And it wasn't too loud which I appreciate. An overall decent experience. read more

I rarely need to use a laundry mat, because I have one onsite at the apartments I live at; however when it is busy I use this laundry mat. It's near me. A lot of parking for when it does get busy. It's very close to different food options from McDonalds to Jack in the box; a few different grocery stores like Safeway and Food Max; there a 99 cent store for your shopping needs, wants, or like. They also are close to Cvs and Walgreens. Your shopping and eating haven. There is also a Chase bank and Wells Fargo atm. Nail shop and also and eye brow place in the shopping complex. It is also close to gas stations; 76 and an AmPm. Back to laundry mat. It has several machine and some can take coin or card options. They also have an option for buying card; which I have and it is reloadable. So there is a machine that can tell you your balance before you begin washing and/or drying so that you can reload. You can also stay and fold you clothes if you like. They also have a vending machine on the premises. It also have benches you can sit on if you don't want to wait in your car or leave. They also have an area to buy laundry items if you need to buy. I absolutely love this place. I have been to other, but gets me is that it is close by and the parking. It's a sign posted so you know the last wash is at 7pm. And it's open everyday. They persons whom I'm suspecting is the owner; let me know who to add time to the dryer without having to keep swiping my card. They also have laundry carts. read more

Good Afternoon Mr. Lam, I had an incidence today Saturday at your facility and per your staff they are NOT to give your number out to anyone. I was unable to contact you by telephone as was my wish but anyway on Saturday, one of your machines turned out to be broken after I had placed clothes inside. Unfortunately, I was not aware that the liquid inside of the machine was BLEACH and it ruined my medical uniforms/scrubs As you may know, these uniforms are expensive and I refuse to wash the newly bleached and ruined clothing with those that do not require it. I asked your staff to pay for the difference to wash the damaged clothing so I can keep them separated but she was unwilling And reiterated she could do nothing about it as she is only an employee and I would need to come back Monday. I would love to come back and personally speak with you but my schedule does not allow it as I work 40 hrs weekly and go to school as well. How can we come to a solution? Is there a policy in place for damaged clothing? as of today, Saturday Dec. 3rd there is no signs posted at the laundry facility regarding these incidents. This laundromat use to be okay but it straight up sucks now. Half of the washers near the right entrance doors are out of service and have been for over a year now. And they increased the prices on all the washers (there's like 1 that's still the old price but of course it's always taken) and they decreased the wash time. I would always use the $5 washers and the wash time was 30-32 minutes but now they're $5.50 and only wash for 20 minutes. The dryers use to dry for 7 minutes every 25¢ but now they're down to 5 minutes/25¢ and they don't dry your clothes completely majority of the time and I don't even over stuff the machines. I promise I'm not cheap but every penny counts now a days. On top of all of that be careful of using the bill changer machine if there's no attendant around. I had to wait 2 hours for someone to give me quarters for the bills I had put in the machine that got stuck. read more

I used this laundromat for the first time today to do one load of laundry. The price on the machines that take card stated $5.75 and for drying it was $.25 per 4 minutes. I did one load in the wash and dried the clothes for 20 minutes. For some reason it charged me $20 in my transaction statements. I am unable to call this place as it goes straight to voicemail however there's no space to leave a voicemail. This would've been a good spot to go to if they didn't rip me off read more

Maybe it's because I do not go to laundromats often but this is the first time I ever seen a washing machine with a credit card option. It's a little expensive but there is different size machines and soap dispensers available for purchase. Definitely plan ahead. Weekends are busy, especially with parking because of the dim sum restaurant nearby! read more

The lady that worked that night was super nice. I came in a bit late and she still let me load. She even let me stay 10mins after official closing because she was taking care of things still. Not only that, she is a humanitarian. She was helping an older lady that appears to be out on her luck. ------------------------------- Decent parking available, near other businesses such as food and shopping. a good amount of washers and driers. Coin machines. Some folding areas and carts. Not brand new, but clean and good. Definitely my spot for doing my laundry. read more

I came for a first and hopefully last visit. The place was clean and organized, lots of washers to choose from. I chose the $3 machine but I believe they also have a $4 and older $2.50 machine. Launderworld is right next door to Sharetea, so I guess the best part about doing laundry here is getting tea during or after your laundry duties. I gave this place 3 stars because I had issues with uploading money into the card last time I was there. I had to walk all the way to CVS to get change and that was inconvenient for me. Came in on a Monday and it was pretty busy. Good thing about this laundromat is that the machines accept credit cards as well as coins. They also have plenty of parking, but that's where the good ends. The machines are more expensive than other laundromats and I don't feel that the machines works as well. It takes forever for my clothes to dry and I had to keep adding coins over and over and over since my clothes wouldn't dry with the amount I usually pay at other laundromats. They also don't have enough rolling baskets to go around because people hold on to those right when they start their wash. They basically reserve it by putting their baskets inside and putting it right in front of the washing machine that they are using at the time even if they don't need the baskets right then and there. The lady that works there was a bit rude to my 7 year old too. He was hungry and eating while we were waiting for our clothes to dry. She basically scolded him and told him not to get anything on her floor, which was already really dirty by the way. First and last time at this particular laundromat, will definitely not be returning. There are way too many laundromats in the San Leandro/San Lorenzo area to be wasting my money and time here. read more

Had a washer stop taking coins halfway through paying for my wash. Honestly frustrated between that and the fact I was going to have to rush I said its fine ill go somewhere else. Asked for my 1.00 i put in the machine back, and the manager made it a huge deal to take up my time and write down all my info when it was clear the machine had 1 dollar paid for it and there was no else in there.
