I parked on the street , the parking was full, came inside to check it out and was very impressed. The laundry mat is super clean , the price is reasonable , the washers don't smell , they have a variety of washer machines and dryers. The dryer cost $0.25 for 8 minutes. They have 50 and 30 lb dryers. The also have 60, 40, 30, 20 lbs washers and the regular small load washer. Prices for the washers range from $2.25 to $6.50 . The restroom is very clean and free. I didn't see any homeless or drug users. They have benches to sit outside and inside. It's very fresh inside the laundry mat and either the owners or the worker is constantly going around to sweep and mop. They are open 24 hrs. The daughter of the owner answered my questions , welcomed me for being a first time guest and even gave me free water. I told her that for me, the washers not smelling and being free of mold and lint is a big deal. I don't want my clean clothes smelling . She expressed that the family takes pride in keeping up with the property and making sure the prices are reasonable to keep their regulars happy . That speaks highly of the family. He was easy to talk to and very helpful in getting me store credit for future washes/drying. This place is newer and super clean. On my most recent visit, they locked the doors around 8:40 PM even though the business hours state they are open until 10:00 PM. They also removed all the trash cans before closing time, making it difficult for customers who were still using the facility. If the posted closing time is 10:00 PM, customers should be allowed to use the laundromat until then without feeling rushed or treated disrespectfully. Management should address the poor customer service and ensure employees follow the posted business hours. I will be taking my business elsewhere. The cleaning lady is always walking around moping and wiping, trying to keep up with the savages that leave crap behind, or water leaking from washers that need fixing. The washer I put my clothes in stopped at 12 min which was when the rinse cycle was supposed to start. My clothes was trapped in there for a few min, until it went to 00 min and unlocked. My clothes are soaking wet. Either I pay 3.75 to start the wash again or dry it for a very long time... Its 0.25 for 8 min and i dried it for an hour.. He walked me through how to select the right settings and let me know he was around if I needed anything else, he'd be more than happy to help. This place has a good atmosphere. Couch seating, massage chairs and a game room for kids. Machines can be paid for with quarters or on a pay app. Makes it so convenient. Thank you Richard for all your help! I truly appreciate it.
