I don't remember what compelled me to do a search but I found Sudz in LA Habra took card instead of coins. I never carry cash so laundry day always required an extra trip to the ATM for me so Sudz appealed to me since I wouldn't have to do that. It's about a 15 minute drive but it's worth it to come here since I only do laundry about once every few weeks. As I said, they accept card and use a laundry card for the machines but also, it's always staffed so they are constantly cleaning and the staff is always very nice. They also have a clean bathroom that's only accessible with your laundry card. Minus 1 star because it never fails, I get mosquito bites here all the time lmao but other than that I love it here.

Today's the first time I've brought laundry to this laundromat in about 3 years, and I only come when my own washer or dryer needs repair or to wash large bedding or rugs. I've used this laundromat off and on for over 35 years..... Sadly, Launderland needs some serious attention and updating. I'm convinced the same washers and dryers I used 35 years ago are still in use - barely. More than half the dryers on the north wall are tagged due to some issue, and several on the south wall don't work, either. Two of the washers I used leaked onto the floor, creating a slipping hazard. I've seen cockroaches during previous visits, but not this time. This place needs modernization and a thorough cleaning.

Machines would stop, overload with water or just breakdown in the middle of use. I started going to a different local laundromat, but today I just didn't feel like making the drive and decided to come here. I figured it's just one load what I could go wrong? Well, I put my clothes in and water started pouring from the unit. It was a large unit so it was about four dollars. Not only did I lose my money, but I created a big mess, and now I have to take all of my clothes to another laundromat to wash them properly. I will never ever ever come here again, and the owner of this establishment should be ashamed of themselves for not keeping it up. If you can't keep up the facility, then just close it down, or sell it to someone else who can invest the money in some decent machines. It's sad That local people keep losing their money here.
