I've been coming to this laundromat for years and have had significant wear and tear over the years. It's recently changed ownership and the new business owners have injected new life into the business. It's noticeably cleaner, the quality of service is great, the machines are better maintained, and they added new vending machines. The business recently underwent a change in ownership and it drastically has improved the business as a whole. the establishment and units are cleaner, new vending machines were added to the site, and all the attendants are trained and helpful. Over all my experience here was good! The cleanliness of this place is not so great. There is a lot of free standing water under and behind the washers in the middle row so it smells really bad! I'm assuming it's because the ground drains are full of gunk. By it makes it smell really really awful in there. Over all the price of wash and dry is fair and the attendant was very helpful. They should really take care of that free standing water under there it can become a serious heath risk. Hope to see it get cleaned up. read more

5 stars for a laundry facility?????? Yes, I know, its pretty crazy. But since the washing machines for my apartment complex are in the open carports, we have people that will occasionally troll for new chlothes. I prefer to take my dirties to a laundry facility where I can do them all at once. Being that I have been going to laundromat in one place or another for quite some time, I am somewhat of an expert at laundromats! In any case, this place was great. Clean, cleaner than some restaurants I have went to lol. Its 1.75 for a wash and quarters to dry. The machines were fairly new, and were well maintained. There even was a gentleman mopping and sweeping the floors, and this was on a Saturday night at about 9 pm. It was a fantastic experience for doing laundry. And I am not saying that only because there was a cute woman checking me out either haha. And there were NO kooks inside. I guess this location is somewhat out of the way, perhaps it remains kook free. I guess I will have to give it a try again soon, when I have a buildup of funky clothes again. The laundry facilities in Monterey after I leave them I feel I need to rub myself down with bleach and a scouring pad, I didn't have that at all here. *******EDIT******* In addition to the old man keeping his poinsettias well watered and taking care of the place, he also brews coffee and has cookies, at least during the holiday season. I went to Launderland mid-vacation with laundry for 5 people - it was a fair amount and I needed to get it done!!! The laundromat was just what was needed. It was open until 10:00pm (last wash at 9:30pm) and it was very clean. (I saw two ladies cleaning the entire 90 minutes I was there.) And, the most importantly, the coin exchange (bills to quarters) worked, as did the Washer Driers. It was not crowded, but there were probably about 10 other people there using the facilities. It was well-light and all the machines seemed be in working order. (No out of order signs.) I would recommend it! read more

5 years I've been living in Gilroy and this is the first time I've used a laundromat. I went to the one on 10th street. It was fairly clean, as laundromats go. Lots of open washers and dryers, I went around 5:30 on a friday evening. As you walk in the door there are 2 benches, 1 on left 1 on right. As far as I could tell those were really the only options for sitting. In addition to 1 small bench in the back of the facility. Also in the back of the facility is the big folding table. This is the only stand alone table. On the left side of the facility where the dryers are, there is a counter that runs the length of the dryers. Plenty of space even if you have multiple loads. The washers cost 1.75 per load and the dryer is timed by how many quarters you put in. I did 2 loads and my total was just over 5 dollars I think. The great thing about the dryers is that they are commercial sized, so you can fit 2 wash loads into 1 dry load. The drawbacks: I couldnt find an electrical outlet anywhere so I ended up not using my laptop that I brought with me. Although it is decently clean, I noticed when i walked in that there are a few ceiling tiles that are half missing because of obvious water damage. There is even some insulation hanging perilously above a line of washers. Overall a positive experience. Not sure if I'll have to use them again but I wouldn't mind if I had to. read more

Pros: typically there is an attandent in sight, which is always reassuring. Also, they tend to have space for you to fold your clothes. Cons: the inside of the washers went to smell like mold or wetness or something (this is because they close the lids before it gets a chance to dry!) read more

I'm legit actually mad about this ! They guy that's was working literally was like oh your not gunna be able to dry your clothes I HAVE to be outta here by 11 . Like are you dead serious. How many times do most of us have to always stay when assholes come in at 8:58 if we close at 9 we still have to help the customers ! It's your job ! He was such in a hurry like dude I wouldn't be as mad but we legit spent hella money in there for us not to be able to dry out clothes ! I was so shook because no human would just let people leave with a whole load of wet chothes and semi dry clothes! Not ever coming here again so annoying read more

Very impressed by this laundromat. While on a road trip we booked a hotel (that's a whole other story...) that told us the guest laundry was not to be used by the hotel guest after 6pm. Saying we needed our clothes washed and didn't check into the hotel until 8pm, we searched for a laundromat and this was the only one that was not closing within the hour. We showed up, the people that worked there were very nice and polite. It did not smell, they were constantly sweeping the floors, bathrooms were very clean, and plenty of washers/dryers. Will definitely recommend!! read more

I just went here again this week and they are STILL only using cold water. At this point I have to wonder if the management is turning off the hot water in order to save on utilities while still charging their customers the same amount of money. read more

The laundromat is clean. The bathroom is dirty and does not have a sink to wash your hands after going to the bathroom. The sidewalk in front is very dirty. A defective dryer caught one of my new shirts and my wife's pajamas in the mechanism. Both were damaged with black marks before I could stop the dryer. The attendant gave me my three quarters back but offered no compensation for the shirt and pajamas. We are traveling and had to do some laundry. If I lived in Gilroy I would look for a different laundromat. There must be one that's a bit cleaner and with machines in better repair. Got home washed damaged shirt and PJs - they came clean. read more

The owner of this facility is an extremely angry and rude individual. I lost $20 in the change machine, the attendant called the owner who demanded to speak to me on the ATTENDANTS phone. The owner explained a "refund policy" that was posted NOWHERE in the laundromat and when I tried to refute and demand my money, he began yelling at me calling me rude and saying "It's my policy!". I told him I was going to call the police to report a theft, at which point he SCREAMED something about his policy and hung up on me. He then immediately called the attendant back and REAMED her for giving me the phone, that he ordered her to do. I reported him to the BBB but I would never go there again after being treated so rudely over this man's clear wrongdoing. read more
